I have a Verizon S6 on T Mobile, everything works fine except when I am calling a company that uses number prompts to direct your call (press 1 for this or 2 for that) it doesn't recognize that I have pressed a number. Is there a setting or something that I can adjust or is it a glitch with my verizon phone on TMO?

I have a massive delay when I press a number to call someone.
I try different apk but have the same problem.
I am having trouble to dial any phone number. When I press the dial symbol, immediately it returns the error message "contacts stopped" - "o Contatos parou - in Portuguese".
I already tried to clean the cache and data of all related apps, tried hard reset, and still the same error. What could be possibly wrong? The errors started after I dialed a huge telephone number (XX XX xxx xxx xxx xxx) 16 numbers total. Could it be related to this?
my phone number and serial number not populated in phone settings. I think they used to. Have recently unlocked and flashed with stock firmware. Could this be related and does if matter?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI always had a strange problem in my S5 with the wifi manager.He keeps crashing when i turn it on. Example: i turn the wifi on by the the notification panel and press the WiFi icon to see the possible networks, but i cant scroll down because the wifi manager crashs, and i have to wait until it "uncrash" to select the network, and it crashs again when start to browse for other networks...It's annoying, but now i'm having other problem with the wifi. I have updated my S5 to lolipop yesterday, and i noticed another problem with the wifi. The first problem still exists, but now, when i turn on the wifi it takes something like 30 ~ 40 seconds to turn on.

The phone is running the latest stock firmware, unrooted, still locked. Is it possible to make it happen through an app, whether it's an app that is dedicated to that function or a music player app that has the option built-in ? Apparently I’m really bad at pressing buttons quickly (either that or the button is malfunctioning) because I keep accidentally bringing up this damn Google search page instead of the home screen.
Is there any possible way to disable the long-press or even just change what it does??? I’ve searched through the phone’s settings and all over the internet and haven’t found anything useful yet.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI install an app on the playstore for remote control of kodi on my htpc computer , after uninstalling it , noticed when I long press and hold my home button It no longer opens up voice search, it opens google now cards page I then have to click on the mic button at the top to perform a voice search.
Is there a way to reset this ? , I uninstalled updates on google app cleared data ect , now when I press and hold my home button I only get these 2 options.
If I select "google" it opens google now page (same way as above)

I have a galaxy s6 edge. A weird thing is happening to my email. i would like to use conversation mode to display my messages. Initially all good. But when I press on the sent folder (to see the messages I sent), the Inbox goes crazy.
It displays all my sent messages in my inbox! Not just the ones from within a conversation, but all my sent messages... This is extremely strange. did not have that problem with my Samsung Alpha... I am at lost to understand Probably some simple setting I am missing?
I was trying out my apps and push the one that says kid mode to see if there were games 4 kids now i can't get out of it. It ask 4 a pin number that i never created. My son tried to get out by pushing different numbers, but it stays n kid mode. My son has a galaxy 5 also through sprint. He said he didn't know what else to do. So then I tried changing it to my actual phone number, and now it won't let me. Everyone I try, it just says voicemail number has been changed, then I hit ok, but nothing actually changed. So far so good, but then when you press the number you want to call you must also choose between "mark as default" or "just once" EVERY TIME.
For most of these contacts choosing a default number would be more trouble than it's worth because the number I want changes depending on time of day etc. I would just like to skip that step entirely.
We need to turn OFF the display of the phone's number on outgoing calls.

I have an AT&T S5. I also have a Google voice phone number. When people call my actual phone they get the voicemail for Google voice. How can I fix it so that when my ATT number is called they get my voicemail and when my Google voice number is called they get my voicemail for that?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI can't seem to find a way to change the default behavior of the Contacts app to search only for contacts that have a phone number.
My contacts are synchronized with my Google account and since Google saves all used emails as contacts (in the "Other Contacts" group), whenever I search for a contact in the phone I get a list of all the emails that also match my search. this is so annoying.
I enabled the option "Only contacts with phones" in the settings, but that seems only to affect the contacts that are displayed in the list, search is not affected by it.
I also tried changing the "Contacts to display" option to use a customized list and selecting only the desired group (My Contacts) from my Google account, but nothing was affected except for the list itself.
Any way to change that behavior without installing a third party dialer app?
i want it to ring longer before going to voicemail, so i have more time to answer it if i need it.
