I was trying out my apps and push the one that says kid mode to see if there were games 4 kids now i can't get out of it. It ask 4 a pin number that i never created. My son tried to get out by pushing different numbers, but it stays n kid mode. My son has a galaxy 5 also through sprint. He said he didn't know what else to do. How to get my cell get back to my original screen?

So then I tried changing it to my actual phone number, and now it won't let me. Everyone I try, it just says voicemail number has been changed, then I hit ok, but nothing actually changed. View 3 Replies View RelatedIf a contact in my favorites has more than one number associated with it. Every time I try to call that person a window pops up with the available numbers. So far so good, but then when you press the number you want to call you must also choose between "mark as default" or "just once" EVERY TIME.
For most of these contacts choosing a default number would be more trouble than it's worth because the number I want changes depending on time of day etc. I would just like to skip that step entirely.
We need to turn OFF the display of the phone's number on outgoing calls.
I've found several things on the Internet that show how to do this. They ALL (so far) send me into phone/settings/calls then tell me to select "MORE SETTINGS" I DO NOT have a "more settings". I have an "additional settings" where that would be, but all that's in there is TTY mode and Hearing aids.

I have an AT&T S5. I also have a Google voice phone number. When people call my actual phone they get the voicemail for Google voice. How can I fix it so that when my ATT number is called they get my voicemail and when my Google voice number is called they get my voicemail for that?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI can't seem to find a way to change the default behavior of the Contacts app to search only for contacts that have a phone number.
My contacts are synchronized with my Google account and since Google saves all used emails as contacts (in the "Other Contacts" group), whenever I search for a contact in the phone I get a list of all the emails that also match my search. this is so annoying.
I enabled the option "Only contacts with phones" in the settings, but that seems only to affect the contacts that are displayed in the list, search is not affected by it.
I also tried changing the "Contacts to display" option to use a customized list and selecting only the desired group (My Contacts) from my Google account, but nothing was affected except for the list itself.
Any way to change that behavior without installing a third party dialer app?
i want it to ring longer before going to voicemail, so i have more time to answer it if i need it.

View 1 Replies View Relatedjust like to say that this is my very first post in this forum. I have been the proud owner of my Samsung Galaxy S II for the past week now. Couple of things to ask that is annoying me a bit though, and just wondering if there's a solution to these. Consider these scenarios:
First one: I receive a text from a friend who says that he has a new number. Because he's in my contacts, I can simply add his number to it. So I open the text, I press the menu key and tap "Add to Contacts". I then find him and tap his name. Usually it appears underneath the rest of the numbers, but because he has Facebook and I've selected to have my friends from there appear in my contacts, it doesn't. Apart from manually typing it in myself, is there a way to add his number?
Secondly: I play some music using the built-in music player (Applications > Music). Once the track starts playing, I press the back button continuously until I reach the home page/idle screen. To go back into it quickly, I pull down the status bar down from the top, and tap the Music panel. From here, how can I go back to a previous screen within the Music player to select a playlist, switch to a new artist, etc? The back button this time returns you to the home/idle screen. The list button just shows the current playlist that is being played. What would be good is to see that scrolling menu at the top again.
Every time I get a new SMS from someone on my contact list, and try to view their SMS it only shows the number of the person and not the name on the SMS list. When I search for the person on my list, and sms him/her it redirects to the conversation, but with the updated name instead of the number. However as soon as I get a new SMS it only shows the number once again.

The contacts that do NOT have the # sign are all listed in nice alphabetical order.
