View 4 Replies View RelatedI tried changing it from the *86 to *86# just to see what would happen, and sure enough, it worked. So then I tried changing it to my actual phone number, and now it won't let me. Everyone I try, it just says voicemail number has been changed, then I hit ok, but nothing actually changed. I tried opening the dialer, going to settings, voicemail, and changing it from there, but it still didn't work

View 1 Replies View RelatedHave not been able to find any setttings that will allow me to connect to voicemail on Rogers. When it dials the voicemail number, it disconnects immediately.ere is what I have tried so far:- Tried all three Caller ID settings.- Enabled and Disable FDN (normally disabled)- Voicemail service is set to 'my carrier' (the only option I get).- Changed the Voicemail number in Settings to dial using the area code, no area code, and last 4 digits.

View 4 Replies View RelatedOn 1st January 2015, I took some photos and videos in my Samsung Galaxy S5. I went to view those photos and videos in my gallery. First few times, the photos and videos were there. After some time, I went to view the photos and videos again in my gallery. Suddenly the photos and videos I took on January 1st were missing but photos I took before January 1st 2015 were still there. I'm sure I didn't delete any of the photos. Is there something I can do about?
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy boyfriend just got the Samsung Galaxy S2. He is coming from an iphone4. He managed to get all of his contacts from his iPhone onto his PC, gmail recognizes all 1715 contacts! He synced his Samsung with gmail yet his phone only picked up 1406 contacts. Where are the other 300? They are contacts that he uses everyday like mine, and friends. But they have disappeared between gmail and the phone.

Windows says it cannot find the Hardware ID and therefore cannot interact with the phone. Also, why 'Wireless Network' connection not working after rooting. I could connect to my in-house network before routing, but no longer.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSamsung has changed the settings in Galaxy S2 so it is no more possible to simply say: [Settings] > [Call settings] > [All calls] > [Show my number] > [Hide] This option does no longer exist that simple. Has anyone found out where Samsung has hidden this functionality so I can choose to hide my phone number. ?
I wonder why Samsung has chosen to make that so complicated
just like to say that this is my very first post in this forum. I have been the proud owner of my Samsung Galaxy S II for the past week now. Couple of things to ask that is annoying me a bit though, and just wondering if there's a solution to these. Consider these scenarios:
First one: I receive a text from a friend who says that he has a new number. Because he's in my contacts, I can simply add his number to it. So I open the text, I press the menu key and tap "Add to Contacts". I then find him and tap his name. Usually it appears underneath the rest of the numbers, but because he has Facebook and I've selected to have my friends from there appear in my contacts, it doesn't. Apart from manually typing it in myself, is there a way to add his number?
Secondly: I play some music using the built-in music player (Applications > Music). Once the track starts playing, I press the back button continuously until I reach the home page/idle screen. To go back into it quickly, I pull down the status bar down from the top, and tap the Music panel. From here, how can I go back to a previous screen within the Music player to select a playlist, switch to a new artist, etc? The back button this time returns you to the home/idle screen. The list button just shows the current playlist that is being played. What would be good is to see that scrolling menu at the top again.
Every time I get a new SMS from someone on my contact list, and try to view their SMS it only shows the number of the person and not the name on the SMS list. When I search for the person on my list, and sms him/her it redirects to the conversation, but with the updated name instead of the number. However as soon as I get a new SMS it only shows the number once again.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got a brand new Samsung Galaxy S5 a week ago. Well I have that little problem with it that whenever I download a pic from for example Google or Hangouts I don't have the -Downloads- folder in my gallery. They do not show up anywhere except if I go to "My files - internal memory - downloads" but nowhere in the gallery. In the gallery I chose the option to show every pic which is saved to the device but they don't show up only camera photos, screenshots. Nothing else.

View 5 Replies View RelatedJust completed the ICS upgrade, but so far struggling to see much improvement so far (except for the ability to bulk select emails to delete them) and I don't have these virtual buttons that are referred to as part of the changes. I've looked around but can't see any settings to turn them on.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI dowloaded a widget and tried to install it, but on the homescreen menu, there is no + add button. Only wallpaper, manage apps and system settings.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to add contacts, but sometimes, when I check the contacts list, the new additions have a # sign assigned to each one. The contacts that do NOT have the # sign are all listed in nice alphabetical order. But the ones WITH a # sign are all listed at the top of the list as if they are in a group - only I've not created them as a group.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've just upgraded my Galaxy S II to ICS, and since upgrading I can't receive any phone calls from a specific number. However, I don't actually receive any phone call, just a missed call in my call log, with a weird symbol (attached). I can't find this symbol in the user-manual, or via a Google search.I'm on O2, and the caller has a HTC Desire (Froyo) on Vodafone.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've had this problem for a while and now I'm getting work I don't want to miss my phone because I've put it on dead mode. Before I factory reset my phone, I was able to change my volume using the side buttons to go from different levels of sound, then vibrate only, then dead mode (complete silent and no vibrations). Now I only have different levels of sound and dead mode. I read about changing an option in sounds to vibrate only in silent mode, which will fix this but I can't find that either (my suspicians are that this option was taken out in ICS or moved to a secret location to foil my plans).
