Anyone know why I can't say "call voicemail" and get it to do just that? It seems like a really intuitive thing to say but anyone with a surname "Male" comes up and no voicemail.

View 4 Replies View Relatedive never used voice mail before and have just transferred my number from my pay and go phone to contract phone (galaxy s2).once it did it.i got a few network messages and a new voice mail notification.i had to set some sort of number to dial it..and when i call it it, the o2 lady voice just says "at the third stroke the time brought to you by o2 will be blah blah" then beep beep beep..then it just loops....no idea what it is.and i cant get rid of the notification..

When it dials the voicemail number, it disconnects immediately.ere is what I have tried so far:- Tried all three Caller ID settings.- Enabled and Disable FDN (normally disabled)- Voicemail service is set to 'my carrier' (the only option I get).- Changed the Voicemail number in Settings to dial using the area code, no area code, and last 4 digits.

I just upgraded to ICS and now my call log screen shows all the incoming text messages I've received as well as the calls. This is the case in both Go Dialer, which I normally use and the native samsumg dialer.

Build Number: IML74K.XXLPQ
(Cant remember where it used to say Gingerbread lol, but it doesnt say Ice Cream Sandwich anywhere)...
Anyway, since I did this, I can no longer hear people during a call.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm consistently getting an error when trying to backup my call log in Kies (2.3.2.12054_20). I can backup everything else but the call log. I get this on 2 computers I have.
This is the error I get:
Data backup cannot proceed because of an unexpected error. Please connect the device and try backing up again.
Is "Root" required for the call log to be backed up? If so, how is this done on the S II?

After I press the end call button, the top bar is lit green and after I slide it down, even though I click on the END button, the call seems to stay alive. I cannot receive nor send calls (getting something like "call not sent"). Is there a known problem with the S2 i9100 or I just got a problematic phone? After 10-15 minutes, the phone seems get by itself back on track: receiving calls.

I've tried the vibrant gps and had no issues. I'm with rogers so the captivate will be coming my way. I also know that most who ***** tend to voice them and those being happy do so away from here!
