Samsung Galaxy S5 - Is there a way to send a call to voicemail--and thereby also silence the ring--without letting the caller know that I've chosen not to answer? (i.e. on their end, it goes to VM after a "normal" number of rings...)

Is there a way to make secondary incoming calls always silent so you just get the regular beep in your ear when you get a second call and not a loud ring?

Then today I was on a call over Bluetooth in my car and it cut out (other person could hear me, I couldn't hear then them) but was not in a dead zone. I've done a sift reset and completely wiped the phone as well. No change.

Sometimes when I get a call on my iphone4s it does not ring but goes straight to voice mail. And then again it may ring sometimes. What is the problem and how do I correct it.

When I call someone, people on the other end can't see my number. I checked the settings where you get 3 options. Send caller-ID, don't send caller-ID or let the network decide. Obviously "don't send" won't send it, but the other 2 options don't work either.If I select "yes" the other end still sees "private number".Is there any other option I'm overlooking?
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I get a call the following things are happening: My phone will NOT ring, it will not show up as a missed call in the call logs, and lastly the only way I even know I received the call is if the caller leaves a voicemail. This all started about 3 weeks ago and was not doing this when I first activated the phone in December 2014. This is unacceptable and cannot continue to happen because I use this phone for business and personal use.
I want to make it clear that this does not happen with every phone call I receive. What I can do to stop it.
My BB9900 is working fine receiving calls, texts, emails etc but I can't hear anything when someone calls, nor can I hear message bank. I've checked all the options and mute buttons and everything but cant work it out.

My iPhone 4 which is appx 4 years old with latest iOS has developed this problem last week. After a hello on connecting a call with anyone, it just goes blank. Neither am I able to hear any voice from the other side nor the person on the other side is able to hear me. I hVe to disconnect the call and use SMS or whatsapp. Is there anything I can do to correct it?

I tested the call blocking feature today and noticed that it forwarded the call to voice mail. Is there any option somewhere to have it drop the call instead? I had this in my Captivate but not on my S3, had to use the Mr. Number app. Would be nice to have because if I go through the trouble of blocking a number, I don't want them leaving a message either. as the title says, when someone phones me they hear music instead of the standard "ring ring" that you would expect to hear. It starts of with someone saying "to download ringtone" then just plays annoying music. I've tried a hard reset but it's still there!
