View 5 Replies View Relatedas the title says, when someone phones me they hear music instead of the standard "ring ring" that you would expect to hear. It starts of with someone saying "to download ringtone" then just plays annoying music. I've tried a hard reset but it's still there!
View 3 Replies View RelatedAt 3:06AM every morning I receive a voicemail notification. However,my phone never rings, and there isn't a record of any calls. I have a Sprint Samsung S6, 5.1.1. I use the regular voicemail app and not the visual. The icon will not clear. The only way I can clear it is by going into the Applications Manager and clearing the data from the Phone application running, but it always comes back at the same time. How do I fix this???????

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a S5 on TMOBILE. Lately every time I try to make a call it hangs up before the first ring. Then today I was on a call over Bluetooth in my car and it cut out (other person could hear me, I couldn't hear then them) but was not in a dead zone. I've done a sift reset and completely wiped the phone as well. No change.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have been using my samsung galaxy pretty heavily being as i just got it a week ago. I have noticed with heavy use it does not last me a whole day. Yesterday i let the battery drain all the way out so that i could completely cycle through. It ended up takeing a little over 3 hours to fully charge again. Was curious how many hrs of usage other people are averageing and how many hrs of charge time?

View 1 Replies View RelatedHave not been able to find any setttings that will allow me to connect to voicemail on Rogers. When it dials the voicemail number, it disconnects immediately.ere is what I have tried so far:- Tried all three Caller ID settings.- Enabled and Disable FDN (normally disabled)- Voicemail service is set to 'my carrier' (the only option I get).- Changed the Voicemail number in Settings to dial using the area code, no area code, and last 4 digits.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI finally got round to rooting my phone last night to hopefully get rid of my "MAPServicesamsung has unfortunately stopped" problem that I and a few others have had since going from GB to ICS. Downloaded insecure kernal CF-Root-SGS2_XW_ODD_KE8-v4.0-CWM4.tar and phone got suck on yellow triange during reboot so turned off and wouldn't turn on again, just the battery indicator showing as the USB was still plugged in. Saw others have had the same problem and the way to overcome it was to load CF-Root-SGS2_XW_XEN_LP7-v5.4-CWM5.tar and sure enough this worked (still had yellow triangle to start with) and then rooted with S2Root_1.5.1_Release (1). Now my wi-fi will not connect. It recognises it but keeps scrolling between authenticating, Obtaining IP address and Saved, secured with WPA2 and sometimes Avoided poor internet connection (even though signal is showing as excellent). I've done allsorts since; deleted it and scanned back in, changed from DHCP to static and back, rebooted the router, taken the battery out.
View 9 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to have the phone ring and have all other notifications either silent or vibrating? I use my cell as my primary phone and it would be nice while I sleep to hear the phone ring and not hear all the other sounds the phone makes for notifications and stuff like that.
I had a blackberry prior to this phone and I was able to easily do that with sound options. I don't see the same option with this phone.
I read several places in connection with the new 2.3.5 update it will be possible to separate screen time-out time from screen lock time. So that you screen would go dark after fx. 15 seconds and lock after 60 seconds
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am relatively new with my Galaxy SII, and noticed that when I receive either a sms or notification, the phone sounds too low. I can't even noticed it has vibrated (since it vibrates only once, comparing with a phone call). I have some programs like skype and viber which also can't listend if someone calls me.
how to make better volume for this type of operations??
I only received my Galaxy S2 today so am very new to this, I want to have my own ringtone instead of the ones already set up on phone, on previous phones I've just been able to assign any of my music to ring tone but I cannot seem to that with this

When I get a call the following things are happening: My phone will NOT ring, it will not show up as a missed call in the call logs, and lastly the only way I even know I received the call is if the caller leaves a voicemail. This all started about 3 weeks ago and was not doing this when I first activated the phone in December 2014. This is unacceptable and cannot continue to happen because I use this phone for business and personal use.
I want to make it clear that this does not happen with every phone call I receive. What I can do to stop it.
After one ring, incoming calls go straight to voicemail How to reset it to ring a few times before going into voicemail

View 9 Replies View RelatedI know it uses up battery time, but is it possible to over-ride the screen time-out? The longest time option on the menu seems to be 10 minutes, but eg when using GPS in the car - especially when the car charger is attached - over-ride this 10 minute limit.

Problems with Galaxy s2 rebooting and the signal issue for me is the worst my friends are constantly complaining that they can't reach me getting a message I believe it is because my signal is so weak any other phone I have ever had I have always got full signal bars at home but I am lucky if I get 1 bar with the s2.

View 9 Replies View RelatedAs a rule I like my screen to time out after a minute of inactivity. When the phone drops below 30% of power, however, power saving mode kicks in and this changes to 15 seconds. The problem is, that after I plug the phone in - and thus cancel power saving mode - it sticks at 15s timeout instead of reverting to my 1minute setting?
