BB Pearl :: How To Open .IPD Backup File In Computer
Oct 25, 2010I have been trying to open the backup .IPD file in computer documents. One way to open files is with the reasearch in motion desktop manager, but I do not know where this is to open. Is there a free download that will allow me to read the text in the .IPD files?

Mar 16, 20101 - Not all n900 applications i find on the net are searchable or listed at all on the n900s built in application downloader. some files i download manually off the net are in gz and deb format. do i need to install the nokia pc software and transfer them to the phone in order to use them, as i cannot find any other way to do it? from using google there are an awful lot of users saying the nokia software does not work very well at the moment and to avoid using it until its fully adapted for the n900, as some features are supposedly unusable?
2 - is there an easy file unzip program for the n900, hopefully easily found within the n900s application downloader? i tried searching for 'zip' and 'unzip' but nothing crops up

Prior to the start of this problem I was able to open attachments from this individual. I am trying to open these email attachments through my AOL account on my Pearl. I am also unable to open these attachments when I logon to AOL with my laptop; they show up on the new mail list but when I open the email, no attachment shows up. In Bitpim I found the MMS folder, which I can backup and transfer all of the files, but they are saved as .PDU Does anyone know of a program that I can use to open the PDU file to see what is in this PIX or FLIX message? I'll just transfer all PDU files from one phone to the other and delete the ones I don't want, but I would like to view them from the PC as well to see what is in them. Does anyone know of a program that will do this AND let me view the picture or video associated with it? I found PDUDecoder, but it doesn't show the pix/flix.
