I recorded a video on my LG V10 and then used a third party app to upload the video to a site. The video uploaded labeled as a Gallery_File with no extension. It will not play on the site.

I had to wipe the phone and since then I cannot open those files - even with setting from reloaded backup file (the backup did not offer the saving of Media Card content). how can I get those file back? The encryption of the Media Card is On (default company setting) but the "Include Media Files" is Off and the encryption Mode is "Device Key".

I just got my Elm phone today. I made a short video, downloaded the SE PC Suit and sync'd my phone to my PC using a USB. I then copied my video to my desktop and played it in Windows Classic Media Player. Now I have pretty much every codec update under the sun so was suprised to find that the video was extremely choppy. The audio worked fine but the video was extremely slow and it was as if I was watching picture slides as opposed to a video! When I tansferred the video to Vegas Pro there was no video at all, just audio. I could see the video slides in the programme but when I clicked play it was just black (with sound).

Once I took the picture and swiped over to view it in the gallery I was given some message about a better shot being available...or something to that effect. I just clicked 'ok' quickly because I was running late and didn't have time to pay attention to it.
I now have 2 pictures with the same file name, but one of them has _TOP at the end of the name. I thought it might have something to do with Google's auto-enhance feature since I have my pics auto-upload to Google, but only one of the pictures shows up in Google+ on the web, and in the Motorola Gallery. They both show up in the Photos app on my phone, and they both show up in OneDrive since I have them auto-upload there, too. Is it some sort of 'best shot' feature the camera is using? Google+? Photos app?
I have Picasa file in my gallery and cannot delete any of the pictures I have over 500 something that does not need to be there , how to do this???

View 1 Replies View RelatedUp till now I had been playing with a non US 3.1 Xoom. I would stick video content (mainly avi files encoded as divx) in the Movies folder. Selecting the Movie folder from Gallery would show all the content but the only program that would play them was Rockplayer which I had installed.
I know have a US Xoom with 3.2 firmware. With the same type of content in the Movies folder together with a MP4 file encoded with Handbrake to specs that the Xoom can play, Gallery only shows me that MP4 file. The other files just don't show up at all. The only way I can play them is to use ES Filemanager to browse that folder and click the filename to play it or use Rockplayer's explorer interface.
I have used sony xperia z2, problem is that any video or picture saved in phone memory (internal) is not viewed in gallery, but if i take picture or video from camera which also saved in internal memory ( default) is viewed in gallery, and also if i received picture or video over bluetooth which also saved in internal memory is also not viewed in gallery, I have to go file manager mode then cut the content from internal and paste it to sd card than the content is viewed in gallery...
