IPhone :: Contact Groups Labeled "(null)"
Mar 27, 2012In the contacts area of my IPhone there is a button that will take you to "Groups." In "Groups" and under the subhead "All ICloud" there is a long sequence of entries that are labled "(null)" and a couple that are labled "Group Name." All of these entries contain no contacts. How do I get rid of them?

Jan 11, 2010I can't see how to do this on the N900 although the facility must be there because when I go to contacts and press the drop down menu there is a tab that says 'groups'. When I press the tab it lists my groups as sim cards contacts. I have no idea how to create a new group.

Oct 25, 2012After the ICS update my email groups won't function. When i type in the group name it doesn't appear as an option for me to select. This is incredibly frustrating. What's more, the only way you can use the group is by navigating to contacts, scrolling over to groups, then pushing the group, then clicking "send email" this would be fine if i always selected the group before sending the email, but my primary use case is taking a picture and sending it to a distribution group (pictures of my kid sent to grandparents and family every day). When I take the picture then click the button to attach it to an email, then try to type in the group name, it doesn't appear.

Is there any way for me to organize my contacts into groups so that I can send a text message to a large group of people without having to individually pick out their contact? On my old phone I could simply assign each contact to a group name. I'm sure there is a function like this on the iPhone.

I must admit that I was hoping that the recent OS update would deal with this but it hasn't. My question to the experts out there is why Apple- normally so intuitive- has not thought of this? It is a major operational weakness of the iPhone.

I have got two Exchange accounts and one G-mail account.Â
When I go to Contacts / Groups and I make a contacts selection there (i do not want to view the suggested contacts and/or all contacts of every account), this selection is resetting after some time and showing me all contacts again.
It is as if I have hit 'Show all contacts'. This is very annoying, since every time I lookup a contact to call, I get all of the email addresses from the contacts list. This did not happen in IOS 7.Â

I found one option to go on icloud and make new groups and add the contacts I want to those groups.
I cannot figure out how to get those new groups to actually show up on my phone.
I don't use icloud for anything, other than backing contacts, thats it.Â

Jun 3, 2014Last weekend I noticed that I was unable to send pictures in messages to individuals or groups. The picture would initially show it was delivered as an iMessage then after a few seconds would show the Not Delivered message. The only way I can currently send an image in a message is as a text.I have tried all the suggestions including wiping the phone and restoring it with no luck.

Apr 14, 2012My wife has an iphone 4 and I just got the iphone 4s. I can text other people no problem but there are issues when I text my wife. If I create a text using Siri, she doesn't get it. When I type a text, she usually gets it, but not always. I have no problems sending/receiving texts with anyone else. And I've received every text she has sent. She has no problems sending/receiving texts from other people.
