Some of the calendar entries that appear on my Blackberry are not synching to Outlook. Oddly, most of these were calendar entries created in Blackberry. When I click on these entries on my BlackBerry the top box says "Send Using:" and "Facebook" is selected. I have never created these calendar entries through Facebook.

Facebook events are not appearing on my calendar and the option to sink them is now greyed out. I have already tried reinstalling facebook and it didn't make a difference.
Is this an issue with my calendar I can alter?

I uploaded an update of the Facebook App, now all of my entries are gone in the calendar that were in sync with my gmail address. I have the 8350 model and prior to this all calendar entries were saved to my email for gmail- this gmail option has disappeared in the CICAL drop down the only option available is Facebook. I tried to uninstall the Facebook App however that leaves no option for Default Service for the calendar, so the option for default service for my calendar is completely removed.How can I go back to the original settings for my calendar and is it possible to retrieve prior/future entries from the now blank calendar?

View 2 Replies View RelatedAm facing a peculiar problem with my Blackberry Calendars.A brief background of the situation : I have 3 email ids synced to my Blackberry Bold 9000 (OS 5.0.0.681). However, none of the emails have any calendars associated with them. I sync my Address Book & Calendar entries through Outlook 2010. At this stage, there are 197 entries in the Calendar, all marked in Blue. Default Services does not show an CICAL option. Neither is there any CICAL in the Service Book.When I install the Facebook app (1.8 or above), all calendar entries get marked in Red and named as Facebook. Default Services starts showing a CICAL option with only one entry "Facebook". A Facebook CICAL is added to the Service Book. There is no option or entry for any other Calendar.
The problem is that all the entries under Facebook are the same 197 as the Outlook entries. No entries from my Facebook account are added to the device. So it is as if the Outlook Calendar has been renamed as Facebook Calendar without any Facebook entries being added to the database. The entries are not duplicated under Facebook. Just that original Outlook Calendar has now become the Facebook Calendar.I would like to have both these Calendar entries (Outlook & Facebook) on the device as many of my business associates / clients etc are on my Facebook profile and i would like some reminder of their bdays etc too.Things that I have tried so far to rectify this are as follows. Each process has been repeated multiple times with no change in results:
1) Re-set up the Facebook Calendar Entries association in the Facebook App > Options
2) Deleted Facebook CICAL from Service Book and then re-associated the App as above
3) Re-installed the Facebook app after deleting the Facebook CICAL.
I have facebook App installed on my lumia 1320, but my lumia 1320's calendar is not synchronized with facebook calendar. Hence I am not able to see Facebook calender's birthday on my lumia calendar.

Initially I thought it might be facebook's issue but it has been like this for months so I am starting to suspect it is Z2 issue.
ActiveSync with my work calendar work fine on the phone, but not the facebook events.
For some reason I can't find a way to sync Facebook Calender with S Planner. I tried the following with no success:
1) Go to S Planner > Manage Calenders > Add Account. Facebook is not there.
2) Go to Facebook app > Settings > App Settings > Sync Contacts > Sync with existing contacts. All it does is syncing Facebook contacts with the phone's contacts.
That's pretty frustrating as it was so easy to do with my HTC One M8.
How do I sync my Facebook account with my calendar? I don't even have the option to add the Facebook account.

And there is no way to fix it without messing up my google calendar times. I see this has been a problem for many users for several months now. It's very surprising that it hasn't been fixed by now - obviously not a priority. I'm in NZ so there are no countries 7 hours ahead of us meaning the bug is probably not timezone related. The only way around this is to use a facebook app to sync. I am using the latest firmware. It happens whether I have set the phone to use my timezone or not.There is another problem - there's no way to turn off facebook birthdays while keeping events. This means my calendar is cluttered up with birthdays even single day.Besides that and the fact my network connectivity isn't as good as my cheap Huawei from before (data, what data?), this is an amazing phone!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI dont know if this is only my issue or all face the same but the calender sync of Facebook integration app of Xperia phone(my is Xperia Neo V) downloads lot of unnecessary data in background.(The attached image shown is screenshot of DataUsage on a GPRS 1GB data plan for 21 days... and rest is self explainatory)Also when I switched off the Facebok integration option on the Setting>Xperia, my battery life increased by almost 1 day completely(with GPRS on all the times). In all my phone now lives 2 days with ease before recharging(NOTE: only 30 mins of games and 3 hrs of music was done). I would have love to attach the screenshot but by that time display overtook the battery discharge usage.I would like Sony Engineers to review the Xperia Facebook Integration program code to debug the issue.
PS: I am also having trouble with wifi connectivity using Netgear router. Dlink worked fine. others still not tested.
