View 14 Replies View RelatedSo I woke up and found that my M8 annoyingly has my FB friends birthdays in the Sense 6 calendar. How do I get rid of them? I can't find any settings in the calendar or Facebook apps.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe first was notifications and I have been given to understand that the folks at Nokia are working on it.the second issue is the calendar. In the settings I have asked it to show Facebook and google calendar events. However, the calendar refuses to sync and show events. It's squeaky clean how do I get the calendar to show Facebook events and birthdays?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've posted this problem earlier. My Birthdays in my Contacts, do not carry over to Google Calendar. I don't have access to a laptop to go on the Web, to use the web version of Google calendar. All advice has mentioned Gmail. I don't use Gmail for email. It's not loaded as an app, but I used to use it. Is that the reason why contact birthdays don't show on Google Calendar? I have added birthdays as a recurring event, but it annoys me that it doesn't work.

View 18 Replies View RelatedAm facing a peculiar problem with my Blackberry Calendars.A brief background of the situation : I have 3 email ids synced to my Blackberry Bold 9000 (OS 5.0.0.681). However, none of the emails have any calendars associated with them. I sync my Address Book & Calendar entries through Outlook 2010. At this stage, there are 197 entries in the Calendar, all marked in Blue. Default Services does not show an CICAL option. Neither is there any CICAL in the Service Book. When I install the Facebook app (1.8 or above), all calendar entries get marked in Red and named as Facebook. Default Services starts showing a CICAL option with only one entry "Facebook". A Facebook CICAL is added to the Service Book. There is no option or entry for any other Calendar.
The problem is that all the entries under Facebook are the same 197 as the Outlook entries. No entries from my Facebook account are added to the device. So it is as if the Outlook Calendar has been renamed as Facebook Calendar without any Facebook entries being added to the database. The entries are not duplicated under Facebook. Just that original Outlook Calendar has now become the Facebook Calendar.I would like to have both these Calendar entries (Outlook & Facebook) on the device as many of my business associates / clients etc are on my Facebook profile and i would like some reminder of their bdays etc too.Things that I have tried so far to rectify this are as follows. Each process has been repeated multiple times with no change in results:
1) Re-set up the Facebook Calendar Entries association in the Facebook App > Options
2) Deleted Facebook CICAL from Service Book and then re-associated the App as above
3) Re-installed the Facebook app after deleting the Facebook CICAL.
I have facebook App installed on my lumia 1320, but my lumia 1320's calendar is not synchronized with facebook calendar. Hence I am not able to see Facebook calender's birthday on my lumia calendar.

I saw a few sync issues with third party softwares doing a search, but could not find my issue.I don't sync my mobile with any third-party software such as Microsoft Exchange or anything.
But I entered birthdays an anniversaries in the contacts. For instance, I create a new contact, his name's Bob.
"Add detail" ; birthday, say 09/07/1990.
On my oooold Nokia 3200, tomorrow, I would have a reminder in the calendar (it would even say Bob's 20, but I saw in my search that this was no longer available)
On my E71, nothing. If I entered a birthdate in the contact, maybe it means I suck at remembering the dates. If I used a downloaded App on the Ovi store, I would understand, maybe DLed apps don't have access to the contact data. But here I use the Nokia Calendar, and the Nokia contacts. Is it just me? Did I forgot to set something? Am I asking to much? (Come on, a 3200 could...)
The first one week before and the second on the birthday. How can I do that? I have read that some iPhone-users have this possibility, but I don´t.

Anyone know how I can change the time that I am reminded about one of m contacts' birthday? The default time is set at 4 AM and, just so everyone knows, my "day" begins at 7 AM and goes until midnight so that isnt "the beginning of my day" according to my calendar. I have alot of birthdays in my Contacts and don't want to manually change each one.

I was rudely awakened by my faithful E72 this morning, which warned me of my wife's birthday on January 1 2012 - and my brother's, sister's, niece's all on the same entirely wrong date and with 9 day's notice. I thought I had stopped Nokia Suite meddling with by phone's relationship with Outlook. Perhaps something the phone has done in collusion with Nokia Suite, but it could also be a firmware quirk? The phone has recently been updated to 081.003 and *#7230#'d twice. I am not doing that again just yet, I have work to do.Great Maps update for Denmark downloaded this week, NOT. Massive changes have been made in recent months to a major road junction west of Copenhagen, but Maps has not been changed at all. Even some free online maps have the new exits and road configuration.I am writing this here, rather than in the software sections because I can see no reason why one has to be a software expert to use a smartphone, or accept mpas with no credibility.Oh, and the phone's battery has just one flat 14 hours after a two-hour car journey with it on charge. Only use has been 5 minutes browsing, 15 mins looking at various maps. No calls, messages or e-mail.The physical battery works as a well as it have has in my 4+ year-old E61i.Does everybody have the problem with megabytes of log files created Nokia Mail in the phone memory? 081.003 (Code 0592810: Danish, English, Icelandic, Norwegian) is otherwise stable.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI like having the Facebook integration throughout the Lumia 950 xl, except for the birthdays in my calendar which, with hundreds of Facebook birthdays, clutters up my calendar. It looks like the interaction is only on or off for the phone without any individual settings, any way to keep the Outlook calendar from including Facebook birthdays without having to delete them individually or shutting off the Facebook integration entirely?
View 10 Replies View RelatedUsing Lumia fw 800 1600.2487.8107.12070. Is this mine settings fault, but in my calendar all phone-contact's birthdays are marked one day early! My contact's has "birthday" field given and it seems that systems automatically inserts these as activities. i.e. If one person has birthday on 22.07.2012, it shows on 21.07.2012 calender!
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using a Blackberry Torch 9800 with 2 main email addresses (both gmails) being sync to it wirelessly. I created a contact from my phone (in gmail account 1) and keyed in the fields of the contacts including the birthdays. However, when I checked my calendars, the birthday entries were created under my gmail account 2 rather than my gmail account 1 which is supposed to be the case. I would like to keep my entries on gmail account 1 private as I use the other account for work purposes which is shared to a group of people.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have two calendars on my bb torch, from email and facebook. Today, out of the blue, 3 birthdays popped up on my home screen, as if it was today, but the dates are months away... and 2 of them are from the same person (but both came from facebook...). I clicked on them to see and hoping they would clear from my screen (just as messages do when you click to read them, when you close it, the notification of the message dissapears...) but they didn't... i tryed deleting one of the birthdays from my calender but it still showed the notification on my screen (it disappeared after about 20 min)! And the options of the event are all correct with the right dates, and the notification of the events are set up for the day before each birthday.... but it stil shows as if it was an event for today...I then tryed entering a task for next week... it also showed on my screen! Does every event you enter shows on the screen no matter what date? how do i get them to only show on the day they are set up to notify me? The alternative would be not to use the calendar at all... how do i alter the option of having the calendar sincronize with facebook? Or to have it not notify me about anything.... because i tryed selecting the email calendar only but the selection is only for visualization purpuses, it doesnt stop facebook sincronization.. and it doesnt give me an option of saving a task on the blackberry only.. i have to select the email or facebook for the reminder... cant i just use the regular calendar?

View 15 Replies View RelatedFor some reason I can't find a way to sync Facebook Calender with S Planner. I tried the following with no success:
1) Go to S Planner > Manage Calenders > Add Account. Facebook is not there.
2) Go to Facebook app > Settings > App Settings > Sync Contacts > Sync with existing contacts. All it does is syncing Facebook contacts with the phone's contacts.
That's pretty frustrating as it was so easy to do with my HTC One M8.
