HTC One M8 :: How To Get Upcoming Alarms In Notification Shade
Jul 17, 2014So I just got my HTC One M8 yesterday and did a ton of things to set it back up. So far there is just the one thing I really miss over my Nexus 4 .... no upcoming alarms in the notification shade.
I have 3 alarms set for the morning my first wake up 2nd wake up then the leave the house alarm. It was easy to set these alarms up but this morning when I woke up before the first one (like normal) I'm used to pulling down the notification shade and my Nexus 4 had entries for the next 2 hours of upcoming alarms. I could then tap the dismiss alarm and it wouldnt go off when the time came around.
So this morning I had to uncheck the box activating the alarm then wait for the time to pass and turn it back on. This is doable but kind of annoying now that I'm used to dismissing it..... Any way to get the upcoming alarms in the notification window like my Nexus 4? or a way that without turning off the alarm I can dismiss the alarm from going off for that day but it will still go off the next?

Jun 2, 2010I've upgraded to the latest N900 firmware (pr1.2) and ever since I have had a problem with the calendar widget. All the events are contained in the calendar when I open it however they are not displayed on the desktop widget. I've got events loaded for the month of June but for some reason these are not showing. Instead I have events showing for July, September and even December. I've tried removing all the entries and the re-adding them but this hasn't solved the problem. I also created another calendar and placed the entries in the new one, again this didn't work. Does anybody have any idea how I can resolve this problem.

Apr 10, 2015Just to recap, after setting up my phone earlier, I then tried to pair my 360 with the S6. After that didn't work, I decided to factory reset the 360, then pair the watch again. It connected successfully, then began to work. I can get messages with the 360, but I don't get vibration notices like I should. The app is not blocked, and swiping down shows the message. WhatsApp, ESPN, and other notifications work as expected. What to check?

Apr 3, 2010I bought a Nokia XM 5800 almost 2 months ago, and its been great, except for it has recently stopped telling me that I have recieved a text. Previously it made a sound, and vibrated and gave me a little envelope in the corner, but now it does none of these and I have to check my inbox to see if I have any new messages. Sync'd with Exchange using Outlook 2010 - Sorry, I don't know what the server version of Exchange is.
Outlook shows birthdays in my calendar, as having start and end as 12am, on the same day, correct recurrence patterns, etc.
If I look in iPhone Calendar, 'Day View', nothing is shown. If I look in iPhone Calendar, 'List View', I can see them. I generally live in 'Day View', I expect the birthdays to show up. What can I do, if anything, to make the birthdays show up in 'Day view'?

Jul 8, 2010I saw a few sync issues with third party softwares doing a search, but could not find my issue.I don't sync my mobile with any third-party software such as Microsoft Exchange or anything.
But I entered birthdays an anniversaries in the contacts.For instance, I create a new contact, his name's Bob.
"Add detail" ; birthday, say 09/07/1990.
On my oooold Nokia 3200, tomorrow, I would have a reminder in the calendar (it would even say Bob's 20, but I saw in my search that this was no longer available)
On my E71, nothing. If I entered a birthdate in the contact, maybe it means I suck at remembering the dates.If I used a downloaded App on the Ovi store, I would understand, maybe DLed apps don't have access to the contact data. But here I use the Nokia Calendar, and the Nokia contacts.Is it just me? Did I forgot to set something? Am I asking to much? (Come on, a 3200 could...)

Sep 24, 2015I've posted this problem earlier. My Birthdays in my Contacts, do not carry over to Google Calendar. I don't have access to a laptop to go on the Web, to use the web version of Google calendar. All advice has mentioned Gmail. I don't use Gmail for email. It's not loaded as an app, but I used to use it. Is that the reason why contact birthdays don't show on Google Calendar? I have added birthdays as a recurring event, but it annoys me that it doesn't work.
