Facebook events are not appearing on my calendar and the option to sink them is now greyed out. I have already tried reinstalling facebook and it didn't make a difference.
Is this an issue with my calendar I can alter?
I have upgraded my Neo V to ICS, and after upgradation, I am not able to sync my FB events and birthdays with in-built calendar. In fact, I am not getting the option "sync calendar" in facebook inside xperia application. PS I do not want procedure to sync contacts with FB.

I've tried upgrading the fb but it says my device isn't compatible or something like that. I have a 8520 curve, everyone else i know who has the same phone and network 02 can use theirs and its frustrating that I cant use something simple on it.

I uploaded an update of the Facebook App, now all of my entries are gone in the calendar that were in sync with my gmail address. I have the 8350 model and prior to this all calendar entries were saved to my email for gmail- this gmail option has disappeared in the CICAL drop down the only option available is Facebook. I tried to uninstall the Facebook App however that leaves no option for Default Service for the calendar, so the option for default service for my calendar is completely removed.How can I go back to the original settings for my calendar and is it possible to retrieve prior/future entries from the now blank calendar?
View 1 Replies View RelatedAm facing a peculiar problem with my Blackberry Calendars.A brief background of the situation : I have 3 email ids synced to my Blackberry Bold 9000 (OS 5.0.0.681). However, none of the emails have any calendars associated with them. I sync my Address Book & Calendar entries through Outlook 2010. At this stage, there are 197 entries in the Calendar, all marked in Blue. Default Services does not show an CICAL option. Neither is there any CICAL in the Service Book.When I install the Facebook app (1.8 or above), all calendar entries get marked in Red and named as Facebook. Default Services starts showing a CICAL option with only one entry "Facebook". A Facebook CICAL is added to the Service Book. There is no option or entry for any other Calendar.
The problem is that all the entries under Facebook are the same 197 as the Outlook entries. No entries from my Facebook account are added to the device. So it is as if the Outlook Calendar has been renamed as Facebook Calendar without any Facebook entries being added to the database. The entries are not duplicated under Facebook. Just that original Outlook Calendar has now become the Facebook Calendar.I would like to have both these Calendar entries (Outlook & Facebook) on the device as many of my business associates / clients etc are on my Facebook profile and i would like some reminder of their bdays etc too.Things that I have tried so far to rectify this are as follows. Each process has been repeated multiple times with no change in results:
1) Re-set up the Facebook Calendar Entries association in the Facebook App > Options
2) Deleted Facebook CICAL from Service Book and then re-associated the App as above
3) Re-installed the Facebook app after deleting the Facebook CICAL.
I have facebook App installed on my lumia 1320, but my lumia 1320's calendar is not synchronized with facebook calendar. Hence I am not able to see Facebook calender's birthday on my lumia calendar.

When selected I can only see options to see reviews, screenshoots, and featured view. No other options exist. I think its because unlike other apps, I don't have the option to run on install and therefore see and accept the terms of service page. I have tried deleted, downloading from various sources etc etc.

When I click on these entries on my BlackBerry the top box says "Send Using:" and "Facebook" is selected. I have never created these calendar entries through Facebook.

Settings -> Mail, Contacts and Calerndars -> choose my account.
There is an option to sync my calendar. I assume this syncs my calendar items from my iphone with my google calendar? How does that work? When does it sync? When I dock my phone to sync with my PC or does it sync over the air? Does it work well? When I enabled it. It asked if I wanted to keep the data from my local iphone calendar. I don't want to lose any data so I said yes then it said that this would likely cause duplicate data. Whats the deal there? It would be cool if my calendar data synced in a smooth way with my google calendar but I would just like some additional information so I am sure I know what I am doing here.
Blackberry and Microsoft mobile platforms offer this. Clearly Apple isn't losing sales because of not offering a Snooze for the native calendar, but it is an extreme nuisance to not implement what seems as such a simple feature.
I can't see Apple ignoring what many business users would find useful for no reason. Is it a patent issue? I don't understand how it would be if both Microsoft and RIM have this feature...

I am totally new to the world of blackberry! But under the ring tones/alerts section there was an option to have a sound alert for facebook, which I was using. I then noticed a couple of days ago, there was no longer a sound alert when I got a facebook message, and the option to chose one has disappeared from the ring tones/alerts section.

I have been using the HTC EVO for about a year now...I picked this phone up yesterday and I really enjoy the Photon. I have installed SPB shell for my interface because I just don't like the form and function of the UI that comes with it. Everything seems to be just great with the phone. The battery life is much better than the EVO. I have had moderate to heavy use of it today since 6:00am and after 9 hours of use I'm down to 30% of my battery life. I also have my corporate email set to push, with gtalk usage (without the video, i noticed that that issue was addressed), texting, voice calls and some internet usage.

1) Cancel
2) Pocket
3) Save
I am referring to the LG calender app v4.50.02 that shipped with the phone.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have things on my calendar and in my reminded thatI want to be repeated only 3 days of the week but the only option to put so it will repeat is everyday. For example: I have events that only occur on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday but the only option I have to have to choose from to have the phone remind me or show it on my calendar as time not available is Daily, then it goes to monthly, etc. So when I set up a reminder or put something I want to show on my calendar I have to choose Daily so now it shows on everyday that my time is occupied for that event and it reminds me to which drives me crazy. You literally have to go to each day it's not suppose to be on and delete it in both the reminder and calendar.phone show that I am busy when I am not or it pops and makes a sound up when I am in the middle of things that are really not going on at those times of day and there are so many that I can not sit on my phone take it off the days I don't need it because that could be a year or more I would have to go thru to change. Is there an upgrade coming out for that soon to have it give us that option ro choose what says we want?

I have this issue on both my iPad and iPhone. When i get a calendar invite in my inbox (for example an exhange invite *.ics) there is no option to accept the invitation. I can open the event in mail, and view teh details, but there is no way to accept it. The invite also does not show up as an "invitation" in my calendar, althought it does show up in the actual calendar as an event that has not been accepted.

However the upload menu only shows twitter as the social networking app. Can i change the upload menu or is there a shortcut i don' t kmow about? I have been using the samsung calendar for a while now, and HAD a default set up with my desktop Google calendar for 3 different reminders on each so I dont forget,oversleep etc. anyhow It seems that when Google calendar STOPPED sending SMS messages earlier idk this month or last month I have NOT been able to set up more than ONE reminder even from a appt set from my phone, after the first reminder is set the green plus sing is no longer there to add more. I CAN go into older appt's and edit and the multiple reminders are still there and the green plus to add more is there and selectible. I am assuming it has something to do with the google calendar so what is up?

I have my calendar option set to keep appointments for 15 days and my Outlook to only sync future appointments. However, my appointments stay in my BB way past the 15 days and I have to go in and manually delete them.
