I recently purchased a Nokia 5230 Nuron through T-mobile. I love using it for Facebook with the included app however I've noticed that there isn't an option to upload a picture with my status update. Is there a way to do this with this model phone?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI am now unable to upload a picture to my facebook account by taking the picture then choosing to send it to facebook via the text function on my iphone. This happened suddenly along with my wife's iphone also. I have deleted the facebook app and reinstalled it to no avail. I can send a verbal text with no problem however with a picture attached it never shows up at facebook.

Have tried after taking a pic to upload strait to my facebook page. However the upload menu only shows twitter as the social networking app. Can i change the upload menu or is there a shortcut i don' t kmow about? It' a pain having to go into facebook and go though the upload instead of doing it straight after tking the pic.

I was always able to upload pics to Facebook on my Electrify with no problems...all of the sudden, everytime I try to upload a pic to FB, I get an error. Says...Upload Error...Upload could not be completed. Is there something that I should reset?

I just sold my N97 and bought the Nokia N900...Indeed its a great device but there are a few things that bug me...I hope you can provide the solution to the problem which I am facing right now...
1: I downloaded Pixelpipe and it worked fine...I wanted to share a photo on facebook...And When I shared the photo....The status of sharing froze at 73 percent and nothin happened...then i had to close down the sharing.....I tried countless times but i am unable to share the photo...Please see the Picture I uploaded of this following problem...

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have recently purchased a Nokia 5230 and memory card, great no probs, just wanted a photo printing off, the photo shop man couldn't get my memory card out of the mobile and obviously didn't want to force it. (bluetooth from my phone for whatever reason wouldn't work in his shop).
I came home and tried to remove it and had the same problem, the card will come out so far and then it is stuck I tried with tweezers but it still wouldn't budge after a bit of force. Help!! Any solution apart from taking it back to the shop I bought it from? Should the phone be off or on while I am trying to remove the card?
I have decided to install Garmin Mobile on my Nokia 5230. I have asked the official Garmin support for informations about Garmin Mobile and Symbiaa S60 v5. They answered that the last version of Garmin Mobile is v5.00.60 and in theory it should almost certain work with S60v5 operating system (the version v5.00.50 should too), but the product is discontinued so they are not 100% sure. They sent me a list where I can still buy Garmin Mobile but I am not sure to spend 100€ because I'm not totaly sure if this will work with Nokia 5230. There's lots of info about Garmin v5.00.40 and v5.00.50 working on Nokia 5800 but no info about Nokia 5230.Is there any Nokia 5230 user on this forum with Garmin Mobile installed? I have 5230 purchased tow months back. I am having pocket internet connection activated from Aircel. With this connection I could not use the maps option since I am getting 'no connection' reply. When I contacted the cc of Aircel the asked me to send one sms "GPRS BP NOK 5230". If I send this sms I am immediately getting a reply message stating that "Your request could not be complied since your hand set is not compatible for GPRS setting". Pl clarify whether it is true that 5230 is not a compatible hand set for GPRS or tell me how to get Gprs activated to my hand set.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Torch 9850 and when I used to send pics to a friend through BBM they would get the option to preview, save or cancel; in turn, I would receive the same option. When I clicked "save" it would download the full 1-2MB version of the pic in BBM, saving it to my picture folder. Yesterday they bought the same phone (Torch 9850) and now when either of us send a pic, neither of us have the option or are given the opportunity to download the actual picture file?!? We simply get a low quality 30KB image with no option other than to go to the BB file menu and click "save" which saves not the full high quality image, but the 30kb one we just received.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI buyed sony ericsson xperia mini pro few months back. at that time i synced my contacts with facebook with facebook app. And i got all my friend's profile pictures as my contact pictures. But now when i changed my memory card i also formated my phone. I took backup of contacts on sim card. after installing new memory card i imported my contacts back to phone and synced facebook once again with my phone contacts. This time they got synced too but their facebook profile pics are not becoming my contact pictures. I also tried enabling facebook inside xperia but still it didn't worked. I want to get them done as quickly as possible.

Bought 5800 which had mobile Facebook on the handset already. Added this as a homepage shortcut. Downloaded the OVI Facebook but didn't like it so removed it. A few months later I attemptedto download OVI Facebook App again but was advised I had to delete the Facebook install files from my handset.
Did this but have also accidentally deleted the mobile Facebook original App that was on the handset when purchased! Tried to re-download this from mobile Facebook site - but just get a blank screen? how to reinstall the original mobile Facebook App?
