I am on an LG G4 with AT&T running Android 5.02. When creating a new calender entry I am presented with 3 options when saving the new entry:
1) Cancel
2) Pocket
3) Save
I am referring to the LG calender app v4.50.02 that shipped with the phone.
When I had the Nokia E71, every time I type a word on the Calendar standby screen, a new entry opens & you can continue typing a reminder. On the new Nokia E72, its more difficult to use, you should click "options" then select "new entry" then you can type the information, why shouldn't Nokia E72 be the same as Nokia E71 by typing straight on the standby screen & continue inserting data? Please note that I downloaded Version 023.002 in my Nokia E72. I hope this can be fixed on the new software update soon.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have 5230 purchased tow months back. I am having pocket internet connection activated from Aircel. With this connection I could not use the maps option since I am getting 'no connection' reply. When I contacted the cc of Aircel the asked me to send one sms "GPRS BP NOK 5230". If I send this sms I am immediately getting a reply message stating that "Your request could not be complied since your hand set is not compatible for GPRS setting". Pl clarify whether it is true that 5230 is not a compatible hand set for GPRS or tell me how to get Gprs activated to my hand set.
View 8 Replies View Relatedwhen I synchronise my laptop to my BB Torch 9800, which has been working okay (ish), I now get an error for a calendar entry that doesn't exist. It comes up during the process to state I should remove the entry and try again.
However, it is not listed in any of my calendars and was an old entry I removed a while back but for some reason still thinks its there.
I have one way sych from laptop to BB do not sure why it doesn't just overwrite what's there or not?
I recently got myself an E7-00 after using a E71 for two years. In the E71 I often saved entries in the calendar as a Memo entry. I backed up the E71 and restored to the E7 and have all my entries back in the calender but now I find that I cannot open the memos that I saved. I am able to edit them but they then change into a regular entry. I see that I cannot choose a memo entry when I add a new entry to the calendar, so apparently this functionality was dropped for some reason.
This is very annoying as I cannot get to the info I saved now. Is there a way around this to get this type of entry back? Or at least to look at my old entries?
I deleted the last calendar entry on my Nokia E72 phone and then my phone keeps hanging on the screensaver which says "No calendar entries for the next 22786 days". I have to remove my batteries and reset my mobile to sort this out. When I reboot the date changes to 29/12/2011 - 9:00 am.

Calendar should recognize the mime type for a calendar entry so that if a Weblink is clicked (such as an air or hotel reservation), it can instantly be loaded in to the calendar. Similarly, if an email arrives with an ICS attrachment, it should also be recognized.
If one cannot sync (i.e. using Linux), one should be able to transfer an ICS or ICAL event to the device an click on the file from within the 5800 and have the entry added to calendar. I can transfer to the device. Just cannot automatically import entries to calendars.

My company BB Bold 9780 synchronises agenda's between MS Outlook and my device calendar. Some time ago an daily recurring Outlook calendar entry was deleted, but it still shows on my BB calendar. When I delete this recurring entry from my BB it comes back one day later. I therefore want to reset my calendar, but when I connect via BB Desktop Mgr it does not allow me to delete my calendar entries. I do not know what to do anymore and I find it rather frustrating to delete the entry every day or leave it in my BB calendar.

This is a clean install and syncing address book and contacts works fine. Syncing the calendar fails every time on entry 597 of 616. Why is it failing on this one specific entry and which one in my calendar is it? Also, what was the last Desktop Manager software version that included the Redirector?

View 2 Replies View RelatedJust purchased an iPhone 5s today. After I had synced my new phone, I noticed that my old iPhone did not save my calendar or contacts from my old phone to iCloud. So, I backed it up and it said iCloud backed up at 9:22pm (my old phone). I called tech support and she said the information was saved in iCloud. However, when I try to sync the new phone in iTunes there is no calendar and my old data from April of 2013 (this is when the last back up was) is downloading to the new phone! I went to the iCloud website and low and behold the old info is still there??? I am so confused and ****** because now I guess I have to manually enter all my calendar events (except for birthdays) on the new phone??
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently travelled to Melbourne from Perth with my fancy new N97, after successfully syncing my Outlook calendar etc from my laptop to the N97 using Ovi Suite (which I agree is not as good as the old PC Suite). Time zone change has caused me a few problems, as the automatic update of the time when I arrived in Melbourne didn't take daylight saving into account, so the alarm went off an hour late etc, and so I had to manually adjust the clock. Funny that now the world clock on my phone is out by an hour now that I have arrived back in Perth. So predictably, the calendar entries now that I'm back in Perth are an hour out.
Any easy ways of updating the world clock settings so that Perth (GMT+8hrs) actually reflects what the time is so that the calendar will sync? At the moment the N97's world clock states that Perth time is 0553hrs, but the time is actually 0653hrs. If I ask the phone to change to Perth as the current location, it asks whether to change phone time to match local time in selected location, which means that the clock continues to show the correct time, despite the world clock being incorrect. I think this is the problem anyway. Thoughts?
Facebook events are not appearing on my calendar and the option to sink them is now greyed out. I have already tried reinstalling facebook and it didn't make a difference.
Is this an issue with my calendar I can alter?
I have my gmail account set up on my iphone 4 and I noticed that if I go to:
Settings -> Mail, Contacts and Calerndars -> choose my account.
There is an option to sync my calendar. I assume this syncs my calendar items from my iphone with my google calendar? How does that work? When does it sync? When I dock my phone to sync with my PC or does it sync over the air? Does it work well? When I enabled it. It asked if I wanted to keep the data from my local iphone calendar. I don't want to lose any data so I said yes then it said that this would likely cause duplicate data. Whats the deal there? It would be cool if my calendar data synced in a smooth way with my google calendar but I would just like some additional information so I am sure I know what I am doing here.
Blackberry and Microsoft mobile platforms offer this. Clearly Apple isn't losing sales because of not offering a Snooze for the native calendar, but it is an extreme nuisance to not implement what seems as such a simple feature.
I can't see Apple ignoring what many business users would find useful for no reason. Is it a patent issue? I don't understand how it would be if both Microsoft and RIM have this feature...

My device is an S5.In the Google Calendar app on my S5, I am unable to see my "tasks", which I am able to see on my desktop via chrome. I don't even have an option to select "tasks" anywhere in the app's settings.I really need to be able to access my tasks on my calendar.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have things on my calendar and in my reminded thatI want to be repeated only 3 days of the week but the only option to put so it will repeat is everyday. For example: I have events that only occur on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday but the only option I have to have to choose from to have the phone remind me or show it on my calendar as time not available is Daily, then it goes to monthly, etc. So when I set up a reminder or put something I want to show on my calendar I have to choose Daily so now it shows on everyday that my time is occupied for that event and it reminds me to which drives me crazy. You literally have to go to each day it's not suppose to be on and delete it in both the reminder and calendar.phone show that I am busy when I am not or it pops and makes a sound up when I am in the middle of things that are really not going on at those times of day and there are so many that I can not sit on my phone take it off the days I don't need it because that could be a year or more I would have to go thru to change. Is there an upgrade coming out for that soon to have it give us that option ro choose what says we want?

I have this issue on both my iPad and iPhone. When i get a calendar invite in my inbox (for example an exhange invite *.ics) there is no option to accept the invitation. I can open the event in mail, and view teh details, but there is no way to accept it. The invite also does not show up as an "invitation" in my calendar, althought it does show up in the actual calendar as an event that has not been accepted.

I have been using the samsung calendar for a while now, and HAD a default set up with my desktop Google calendar for 3 different reminders on each so I dont forget,oversleep etc. anyhow It seems that when Google calendar STOPPED sending SMS messages earlier idk this month or last month I have NOT been able to set up more than ONE reminder even from a appt set from my phone, after the first reminder is set the green plus sing is no longer there to add more. I CAN go into older appt's and edit and the multiple reminders are still there and the green plus to add more is there and selectible. I am assuming it has something to do with the google calendar so what is up?

I have my calendar option set to keep appointments for 15 days and my Outlook to only sync future appointments. However, my appointments stay in my BB way past the 15 days and I have to go in and manually delete them.

For example, whenever I send an sms, call out or receive calls or using data, it will be logged down. Other than the option to "clear log" or set to "no logging" in the option. There is no other option available to delete individual log.
