IPhone :: 4s Calendar Displays Incorrectly In List View?
Apr 4, 2012Having an issue with the calendar on my iPhone 4S. Events display one day late in list view, but display properly in month view. For instance, an event I just created for tomorrow, Thursday April 5th, will display under Friday April 6th in the list view, but display properly in day and month views. Also some events are simply not shown. For instance, for a three day consecutive event, the first two events are shifted forward a day and the third drops out of view. All events are synced and display properly on my iPad, however.

Nokia :: E72 - Adding New Entry In Calendar?
Feb 20, 2010When I had the Nokia E71, every time I type a word on the Calendar standby screen, a new entry opens & you can continue typing a reminder. On the new Nokia E72, its more difficult to use, you should click "options" then select "new entry" then you can type the information, why shouldn't Nokia E72 be the same as Nokia E71 by typing straight on the standby screen & continue inserting data? Please note that I downloaded Version 023.002 in my Nokia E72. I hope this can be fixed on the new software update soon.

BB Torch :: Synchronization Stops For A Calendar Entry?
Jul 17, 2012when I synchronise my laptop to my BB Torch 9800, which has been working okay (ish), I now get an error for a calendar entry that doesn't exist. It comes up during the process to state I should remove the entry and try again.
However, it is not listed in any of my calendars and was an old entry I removed a while back but for some reason still thinks its there.
I have one way sych from laptop to BB do not sure why it doesn't just overwrite what's there or not?
Eseries / Communicators :: E7-00, No Memo Type Entry Available In Calendar
Oct 27, 2011I recently got myself an E7-00 after using a E71 for two years. In the E71 I often saved entries in the calendar as a Memo entry. I backed up the E71 and restored to the E7 and have all my entries back in the calender but now I find that I cannot open the memos that I saved. I am able to edit them but they then change into a regular entry. I see that I cannot choose a memo entry when I add a new entry to the calendar, so apparently this functionality was dropped for some reason.
This is very annoying as I cannot get to the info I saved now. Is there a way around this to get this type of entry back? Or at least to look at my old entries?

Jan 11, 2012I deleted the last calendar entry on my Nokia E72 phone and then my phone keeps hanging on the screensaver which says "No calendar entries for the next 22786 days". I have to remove my batteries and reset my mobile to sort this out. When I reboot the date changes to 29/12/2011 - 9:00 am.

Apr 6, 2010It is not possible to upload an ICAL or ICS entry directly into the calendar. Calendar should recognize the mime type for a calendar entry so that if a Weblink is clicked (such as an air or hotel reservation), it can instantly be loaded in to the calendar. Similarly, if an email arrives with an ICS attrachment, it should also be recognized.
If one cannot sync (i.e. using Linux), one should be able to transfer an ICS or ICAL event to the device an click on the file from within the 5800 and have the entry added to calendar. I can transfer to the device. Just cannot automatically import entries to calendars.

Aug 6, 2012My company BB Bold 9780 synchronises agenda's between MS Outlook and my device calendar. Some time ago an daily recurring Outlook calendar entry was deleted, but it still shows on my BB calendar. When I delete this recurring entry from my BB it comes back one day later. I therefore want to reset my calendar, but when I connect via BB Desktop Mgr it does not allow me to delete my calendar entries. I do not know what to do anymore and I find it rather frustrating to delete the entry every day or leave it in my BB calendar.

This is a clean install and syncing address book and contacts works fine. Syncing the calendar fails every time on entry 597 of 616. Why is it failing on this one specific entry and which one in my calendar is it? Also, what was the last Desktop Manager software version that included the Redirector?

Mar 30, 2012I am thinking that it would be a real enhancement (although I hope I would never actually need it) to have an ICE entry that is available without unlocking my phone. I use a passcode on my phone so if I were incapacitated in some way it would be good if emergency responders could get to my ICE entry. Ideally it would also have a place to list meds that I take and any important medical conditions that might be relevant. Obviously, not everyone would want to list this stuff in a way that could be access by unauthorized people, but many (maybe most) people would really benefit from it. For example, if I had high blood pressure and was taking meds for it, that might be sometheng that an EMT or ER Doctor might want to know before treating me.

Jan 25, 2010I recently became the owner of an e71 and although every phone I have ever had has been a Nokia, I am having massive problems getting this one to do what I want it to!I am hoping that you may be able to help me out with the following questions:
EMAIL
I set up my hotmail on the phone and it was working fine. I then deleted that account but on the home screen am left with the subject line of the last message, but cannot get rid of it, or open it. When I select it, I simply go to the email options screen with sync, settings etc.How do I get rid of this and start again?Also, is it possible to set the phone up so that hotmail only displays on the 'personal mode' and that my work email only displays on the 'work mode'? If so, how do I go about it?
My work email (IMAP) I got all the settings and details from the IT department, and whatever I (or they) tried to do, simply wouldn't allow me to connect to my account and receive messages. Has anyone else had this? Is there some trick that I haven't been using?

How do I get smilies back on the phone!?How do I make it so that sent messages are not saved? I have selected this option, but each time it seems to revert to automatically saving them, which I don't want.

Apr 20, 2012iPhone 3GS intermittently drops 3G and displays SOS Only. A reset fixes it for a short while before it fails again. I have been having this problem for a while, and have tried many resets and restore, clearing the phone, using the phone as a 'new' iphone with no apps or user data, and it always fails the same way. Other phones in the area on the same carrier display full signal strength when this happens. Following a reset, the phone always works correctly for a period (of between 1 minute and 1 day), then fails again. I suspect I have a hardware fault.

May 3, 2012I have a security camera system (SerVision MVG400) that sends an email alert when a camera is triggered. The email contains a jpeg image of the event that triggered the camera. When I view the emails from this system on the iPhone 4, the image displayed is the same in every message. If I reboot the phone and open a different message, now that's the image displayed in every message from the security system. If I forward one of the messages that's displaying incorrectly on the phone to another machine, it contains the correct image. The images are all named "image001.jpeg" and they are all the same size (9KB). The only thing that differs from one message to another is the timestamp in the subject line and message body, and the image contents.
