I need to find out if it is possible to delete individual log from this phone's main log program.
For example, whenever I send an sms, call out or receive calls or using data, it will be logged down. Other than the option to "clear log" or set to "no logging" in the option. There is no other option available to delete individual log.
When I had the Nokia E71, every time I type a word on the Calendar standby screen, a new entry opens & you can continue typing a reminder. On the new Nokia E72, its more difficult to use, you should click "options" then select "new entry" then you can type the information, why shouldn't Nokia E72 be the same as Nokia E71 by typing straight on the standby screen & continue inserting data? Please note that I downloaded Version 023.002 in my Nokia E72. I hope this can be fixed on the new software update soon.

Name: Hxxxxxx with No.: xxxxxx111 and Name: Mxxxxxx with No.: +97xxxx111xx . When I sent an SMS to Vodafone No. i.e.111, in Log it shows sent to Vodafone Care but under the sent items It showed as sent to Hxxxxxx. Then I deleted the entry for Hxxxxxx from my contact list and sent the SMS to 111 again. This time in log it showed sent to Vodafone Care but under sent items it showed as sent to Mxxxxxx. Then I deleted the second entry too from the Contacts and tried again. This time under sent itemes as well as log it showed sent to Vodafone Care correctly. Why this is happening and how to rectify the same?

It is not possible to upload an ICAL or ICS entry directly into the calendar. Calendar should recognize the mime type for a calendar entry so that if a Weblink is clicked (such as an air or hotel reservation), it can instantly be loaded in to the calendar. Similarly, if an email arrives with an ICS attrachment, it should also be recognized.
If one cannot sync (i.e. using Linux), one should be able to transfer an ICS or ICAL event to the device an click on the file from within the 5800 and have the entry added to calendar. I can transfer to the device. Just cannot automatically import entries to calendars.

I have a Blackberry Curve Model 8530 and my carrier is Boost Mobile. This morning I tried to delete an entry in my call history and my phone froze so I took my battery out and put it back in. When it finished loading and my home screen popped up it immediately popped up with "Uncaught Exception Index 3>=3 " then went to a white screen that said App Error 523.I had never downloaded the Desktop Manager so I installed it on my laptop, plugged my phone in and did the application loader trick that everyone talks about and deleted all apps but I'm still having the same issue?
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, my E63 won't let me add a meeting via the calendar function. After I've filled in the details and press 'save', a dialoge box appears which says 'System Error'. I can however, add items to my 'things to do' list.
Also, when I connect the phone to my laptop via Nokia pc Suite, the calendar function fails to register and I cannot add a meeting via pc Suite either. Everything else (contacts, messages etc) can be accessed with no problem.
This is a recent thing: last week it was fine and I don't recall making any changes to the setup. I have the latest firmware but re-insalled in anyway. This has made no difference.
I updated my X2-01 to v08.63 yesterday.It had no other problems.But now there is a blank entry in the call log and i cant delete it.I've tried the backup and restore solution for blank msg bug,but it didnot work.

I am on an LG G4 with AT&T running Android 5.02. When creating a new calender entry I am presented with 3 options when saving the new entry:
1) Cancel
2) Pocket
3) Save
I am referring to the LG calender app v4.50.02 that shipped with the phone.
I am thinking that it would be a real enhancement (although I hope I would never actually need it) to have an ICE entry that is available without unlocking my phone. I use a passcode on my phone so if I were incapacitated in some way it would be good if emergency responders could get to my ICE entry. Ideally it would also have a place to list meds that I take and any important medical conditions that might be relevant. Obviously, not everyone would want to list this stuff in a way that could be access by unauthorized people, but many (maybe most) people would really benefit from it. For example, if I had high blood pressure and was taking meds for it, that might be sometheng that an EMT or ER Doctor might want to know before treating me.

My Iphone calendar is stuck. I went to add an entry and it is stuck in time area. I cannot add by clicking DONE and cannot CANCEL to close the entry. How can I unstick it so I can continue to add entries and check previously entered info? Been stuck for 2 days.

when I synchronise my laptop to my BB Torch 9800, which has been working okay (ish), I now get an error for a calendar entry that doesn't exist. It comes up during the process to state I should remove the entry and try again.
However, it is not listed in any of my calendars and was an old entry I removed a while back but for some reason still thinks its there.
I have one way sych from laptop to BB do not sure why it doesn't just overwrite what's there or not?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI recently got myself an E7-00 after using a E71 for two years. In the E71 I often saved entries in the calendar as a Memo entry. I backed up the E71 and restored to the E7 and have all my entries back in the calender but now I find that I cannot open the memos that I saved. I am able to edit them but they then change into a regular entry. I see that I cannot choose a memo entry when I add a new entry to the calendar, so apparently this functionality was dropped for some reason.
This is very annoying as I cannot get to the info I saved now. Is there a way around this to get this type of entry back? Or at least to look at my old entries?

I have to remove my batteries and reset my mobile to sort this out. When I reboot the date changes to 29/12/2011 - 9:00 am.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought my Bold 9000 from a HK dealer on eBay, and on receiving the phone, I noticed the following:
- When typing msges, it occasionally double enters a single letter when I have only pressed the key once Eg. terriible appears when I try keying in terrible.
- Pressing the menu button once at the initial home page brings me to not just the menu, but also the options at the menu page (ie. a double action with a single press)
- Likewise, the space and delete keys sometimes give me a double space or deletes 2 characters at single depressing of the key
I have tried rebooting numerous times in numerous ways, but this problem still persists.Anyone know of what may be the cause? Also, what actions should I take from here?

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen you type a text message, the keyboard slides up and the message box slides up above it so you can see what you're typing. That's the way its supposed to work. I just started seeing this today.
Now, my keyboard is covering the text message box so I can't see what I'm typing. I have to hit the back arrow to make the keyboard go away so I can see what I wrote before sending it. But not just text messages, seems like the keyboard is covering up ALL text boxes in everything making this phone pretty useless.
Never noticed this before but I just got another android phone, Moto X Pure and signed into the phone with my google account. Now I have my name in the contacts with no info except for the name. I also have my name and all info in the contacts. I tried to merge but it won't let anything merge with the user name on the phone. If I have too I will add all of the info manually so there is only one profile in contacts but will I have the same problem when I get another new phone?
