I am using Nokia Asha 311. I could not find the option to delete a single call entry from the call log.In messages, it gives the option to select the mesage but when I select a single message it also selects the All messages checkbox.

- When typing msges, it occasionally double enters a single letter when I have only pressed the key once Eg. terriible appears when I try keying in terrible.
- Pressing the menu button once at the initial home page brings me to not just the menu, but also the options at the menu page (ie. a double action with a single press)
- Likewise, the space and delete keys sometimes give me a double space or deletes 2 characters at single depressing of the key
I have tried rebooting numerous times in numerous ways, but this problem still persists.Anyone know of what may be the cause? Also, what actions should I take from here?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI want to save a number of the messages I have on my phone and so do not want to empty the folders completely but now have a very slow phone as message count is c. 6000!I was using the old Nokia PC Suite (7.2 I think) but this froze when trying to access the large number of messages so upgraded to tthe OVI Suite.Any ideas other than delete text by text on the phone?I have acheived a full download to OVI and have deleted the conversations I no longer want in OVI but they are still on my phone!!!

I go fist to Settings > Themes > Select Theme > Themes >Options ... has four options ... Details , Type of view, sort and search. I have not found any " delete " option to delete the selected theme.

I am using the default opera mini browser (provided with the phone) for browsing the net. I have an active working internet connection too. My question is ' i used to download ringtones, songs, games etc through my opera before the factory reset, but after the reset i am unable to download anything via new links or new tabs. It's been a bit funny from time to time, but near Christmas it turned itself off and the camera stopped working. In January, the touchscreen started to become unresponsive and difficult to operate, to the point where I am often unable to get into the phone. And typing a text / navigating around the menu is an absolute nightmare. I've tried to calibrate the screen, but that doesn't help, as it doesn't recognise that it's being touched sometimes.I haven't dropped the phone or got it wet. I don't use the internet on it either, so I presumably can't have a virus.Would it still be under warranty? I've had nothing but trouble with it and it certainly reinforces the notion of 'buy cheap, buy twice'.

However, I'm unable to access web servers or services on my own LAN.First spotted when I tried to set up the 'Mail' application and creating custom settings to connect to my own IMAP and SMTP server on IP address 192.168.0.199. The mail app would inform me that the server was unreachable or words to that effect.Using both the Nokia web browser and Opera, I have since tried connecting to a local web server again on 192.168.0.199 and both browsers replied with address unreachable. Have also tried connecting to my router on 192.168.0.1 and again I get address unreachable.My phone connects to my wi-fi with address 192.168.0.15 - and with gateway 192.168.0.1, DNS 192.168.0.1 as per any other device on my network.I have also tried doing exactly the same thing on a Nokia N8 - and the N8 is successfully communicating with local servers.I'm running v14.53 and had same problem with 14.23.
