The screen displays an outlined box around each item I touch, I have to press down on a number and tap it several times for it to work, and I am not able to scroll. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I tried turning the phone off, however, that didn't help. I took off the screen protector and cleaned the screen to no avail.

As the title says, my play store app is now opening randomly and interrupting whatever i'm trying to open but not to a specific app or anything. Its just opening to an "item not found / retry" page. Seems to be since this latest security patch from VZW over the weekend. I've cleared cache and data from the play store app as well as play services.

Does anyone know why all of a sudden my email icon shows a white envelope outlined in red with a smaller red envelope on top? It was previously (for the last year) a white envelope. Verizon is my provider.

All of a sudden, the envelope is outlined in red and there is a smaller red envelope where the asterick used to be. Even after I read the new emails, the smaller red envelope stays red.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought the new Nokia 5233 phone.Whenever the phone is locked and I set a alarm. There is no way i can stop the alaram other than to reset the alarm manually by alarms-> edit.
There will be two touch buttons that apper on the otuch screen. One to stop and other to snooze the alarm. Even If press them, it wont work. The alaram keeps ringing. I even tried clicking on the green button and the menu botton at the bottom. Still no use. I cant even unlock the phone. Only thing i can do is press the red button at the end, which will snooze the alarm. After this, I have to manually change the alarm time.
The same thing happens even with phone calls. I cannot use the touch button that apper on the touch screen. I have to use the green and red button at the bottom.These problem come into picture only if the phone is locked. Otherwise it works fine.
i just bought a blackberry bold 9790 operating on OS 7. however, i found that rim released the OS 7.1 with so many new features; i have been trying to upgrade my OS but the software keeps saying "there are no updates for your blackberry" although blackberry's website says that any OS 7 device can upgrade to 7.1.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've had my 8900 for two years. I really love the phone, but around the beginning of December 2010, it started doing something funky. It seems that when I am either talking on the phone for a long period of time (around 15 minutes or so) or in the middle of a movie or while taking a video, the phone will go to a plain white screen, and it is impossible to turn it off or have any other interaction. In short, it freezes on that white screen. At other times, it will power itself off, and it also appears frozen, with no possible interaction. In either case, when I remove the battery for a few minutes and replace it, sometimes it comes back on, and other times I have to plug it into a charger, whether it's a USB cable or AC charger. In any case, I may have started with a full battery, but after this, the battery now only shows three and a half of five battery blocks. This is not limited to the OS, since it happened with the original OS back in December (4.6) and continues to occur now that I have upgraded to OS 5. It seems to be hardware related.

I bought it on eBay and apparently the warranty is non-transferable so that's void. I have it on Boost so I'm guessing going to Sprint is out of the question also.

You can check for yourself by downloading "Dead Pixel Test" by Ossibus Software on the Play store. When viewing the darker shade of grey, if your screen has banding, it'll be clearly visible as horizontal line(s).
I have a curve 9300 downloaded a game of blackberry app world when it finished it said reboot phone,after I rebooted the screen went white and displayed app error 200 reset. I have tried everything including reinstalling the software on my PC and even an update but the computer says to connect phone when it already is and other times the screen loads black and shows blackberry on it and a bar that realoads and after this it goes right back to the white screen...

The message indicator on the home screen sometimes displays to the left of the time, and sometimes to the right. I thought at first it was an am/pm thing, but 10 minutes ago (8:41 ayem now) it was on the right, and now it just jumped to the left.
