BB Curve :: Cannot Play Or Download Anything With .mp3 Extension
Oct 30, 2010
I have a BB Curve 8530 Smartphone (v5.0.0.654) and I cannot download or play anything with a mp3 extension other than those items that were installed on the phone when I first got it or those that I downloaded before my first phone update. While trying to play an audio or video item with mp3 extension, I always get the message "an error occurred while attempting to play...". This usually happens after about a minute or two. My downloads simply fail. I'm confused because everything worked fine until that first update. I can still download and play anything with a .m3u extension.
I have BB storm 9530. When I try to play media files with .WMA extension... Media player returns a message..that file format is unsupported. So how can I play these files or how can I convert them to mp3 format.
My son got this a few days ago and he wants to put his favorite movie on his phone, so he can watch it on long trips. Is this possible and if so what format do i need to convert the movie into?
When will it be possible to extend the memory of the equipment, so they can store more data, including text messaging / picture. Or for when an advance, for the Companion PC so we can access our text messages / picture on our computer via data cable, examine the nokia pc suite because it has these functions available.
So I bought a htc one today and I've set it all up, connected accounts etc. and whenever i try to download or update any apps on google play i immediately get an error 403. I've tried using a different account, I've tried clearing cache.
my xperia play cannot download at market after i reset factory.i still can open the market. but when i try to download it say starting download all the time but not moving at all.
my HTC One X has been performing superbly.I can't download any Apps from the Play store but the issue is only over mobile internet (3G)if I connect to my Wifi (or any Wifi) it works and downloads perfectly.I can do everything else ok, surfing, email, facebook, upload photos to facebook, drop box, everything is running great apart from downloading Apps.I don't usually have many apps on my phone, as the onboard suite that came with the HTC is great.
Is there a way to input an extension number into a phone number in your contacts list? For example, in an old Nokia, I would have a number saved like 123-456-7890w4587..the "w" was a wait command. The number would dial and the screen displayed "press send to send 4587" (being the extension)Is there a way or command in the HTC Magic from Rogers to do this?
Im trying to recover my text messages from a previous back up. I want to view them on my computer. Ive tried going into the backup files but none of the files have an extension on them so i dont seem to be able to open them.
If I receive an email or appointment with a phone number in the format of 123-456-7890 x123, it will allow me to click it to dial but then just dials all the numbers. It should pause at the extension and wait to dial it until i click to do so. My older Blackberry had no issue performing this task. Seems like a major programming oversite on Apple's end.
i just got my xperia play today en i got everything working 3g,wifi etc.The only problem is i cant download anything from the market, it just stays on starting download while downloading through external sites is working fine.
[URL] it's included in the SEXPlay's games in their commercial. But when I launched my Get Games for Xplay (Gameloft's site), it has a price tag of USD2.99..
I've had my play for 2.5 weeks now and recently I have tried to get Battlefield and NFS games on it via the promotional offer from EA, but when I lauched the games, it asked for downloads which I let it do but when it got to 100% it just hangs there and eventually it just say there's an error and I need to reconnect and download again.
While downloading anything from the android market the downloading starts and stops automatically whithout showing any message/error.I am not able to download anything from the android market.what to do now??
I can open the play store and find apps just fine, but when i click install, it just loads and never downloads. I also can not download the updates for my current play store apps.
I cannot download anything on my Nexus 5 from the play store at the moment. When I press download it gets stuck at 'installing...' forever. It started with the facebook app updating, forcing me to have to download the messenger app (I had used a workaround to avoid having to install it before), but when that wasn't installing I decided there had to be something wrong with facebook. I UN-installed Facebook, but now Facebook app gets stuck as well. Then I tried to find a replacement app, Fast for Facebook, but the story is the same.
How would I go about changing the download directory for the Xperia Play, I can't buy some of the games I want without changing the directory to my SD Card.
i have a n95 8gb, which i'm using as a modem to connect to the internet. actually i'm using it right now. he problem is, that when i add a usb extension cable (3m) to extend the cable that came with the phone, the internet connection breaks after a (short) while. especially when downloading large amounts of data, such as when viewing Internet videos. it works for a while, then stops. if i disconnect and reconnect, it works again. for a while.
i am using windows 7 64bit, home premium edition. i have installed the latest drivers and pc suite. the latest ovi suite as well, but i'm not using it and it is not running. i doubt it is a software problem since the problem only seems to occur when i add an extension cable. the reason i add the cable is that i get a much better signal a few metres away from my computer, and thus much higher internet speed. could it be that the higher speed is a problem? that is the only non-hardware problem i can seem to think of at the moment............
the phone encrypted some files in the default Blackberry folder on the external Media Card with .rem extension (mostly .jpg files). I had to wipe the phone and since then I cannot open those files - even with setting from reloaded backup file (the backup did not offer the saving of Media Card content). how can I get those file back? The encryption of the Media Card is On (default company setting) but the "Include Media Files" is Off and the encryption Mode is "Device Key".
Many of the numbers that I call since switching jobs have extensions. Can they be added to the phone number listing as shown when making a call? Currently, I have been adding the 'notes' field to the contact lists when someone or a particular department needs to be accessed. I find it confusing sometimes and would like it displayed even though it may not dial it. Can it be displayed?
