Xperia PLAY :: Cannot Download From Android Market
Apr 19, 2011
i just got my xperia play today en i got everything working 3g,wifi etc.The only problem is i cant download anything from the market, it just stays on starting download while downloading through external sites is working fine.
While downloading anything from the android market the downloading starts and stops automatically whithout showing any message/error.I am not able to download anything from the android market.what to do now??
Whenever my WIFI is on, my gallery where the images and videos are located won't display. But when I turn off my WIFI, the images and videos display seems fine. Any idea what could have caused this and how to fix it? I won't be able to share photos, videos since I can't view them whenever my WIFI is on.
Also, my Android Market App where you tick going to the Android Market site is not working. It just says loading. Of course this is with my WIFI on.
Just thought I'd share a load of great emulators I've found for SNES, NeoGeo, etc. written by ExPlusAlpha (not sure if it's one guy or a team).I guess that a lot of these are ports of Open Source emulators, so they're free and the ones I've tested run very smoothly.I've tried various SNES emulators over the last few months (inc. SNESDroid and SNESoid) but the SNES 9X Ex is by far the best I've found, and it's free! For some reason these emulators are not on the Android Market so your need to go to ExPlusAlpha.com to download.Definately worth checking out.
I got my Xperia Pro MK16i back from repairs today, and it came back with Gingerbread on it. The first thing i noticed was the Play Store having been replaced with Android Market. I assumed it would prompt for an update automatically, but it simply wouldn't. I don't see option for an update.
I want to keep the Gingerbread and not update to ICS, but i need to Play Store. How can i get it?
Also the current Android Market won't let me download anything. It cues the apps for download but never really downloads anything.
provide the list of countries where Android Market comes preloaded on the phone, please the latest list.If a country is not listed in the list, is there any other way to have applications installed
I have got my SE Xperia X10i two months ago. I am still not familiar with its advanced features. I have updated the phone to Android 2.1 (Firmware: 2.1-update1, Kernel: 2.6.2.9, Build#: 2.0.2.A.0.24) and I have downloaded many free apps from Android Market. They all worked fine but recently I have downloaded Google Reader from the MARKET. The download seems to have got stuck at 26% and there is nothing I can do to stop it.
I have tried the below:1. Switched off the data traffic but the download did not stop and it is shown in the notifications.2. Restarted the phone not less than 5 times but the download seems to resume.3. Killed the market service in the Manage Applications section, but download does not stop.
For 2 days I am not able to download anything from Android Market. Did any of you have this problem? Internet connection is OK. I was able to download from the Market, but suddenly I can't do it anymore. I think this is an OS problem. I read about in on Android site forum.
Does anyone know how I can download apps outside Android Market.I'm suppose to have a link in my applications folder to allow me to download from "unknown sources", but the brain wizards at AT&T decided to remove it form my Xperia X10 in an agreement with sony!
It happen a day ago. It hasnt happen to me before. i cant seem to download any thing from android market at all. when i select say a free apps and install in, a few seconds later it will promp to me saying download unsuccessful, please try again. i checked, my sd card still has more then enough space. i checked, i got a very good wi-fi connection.
I've recently bought the x10 mini pro and have upgraded it to android 2.1. This also updated the android market to the newest version but now i cant download anything from the market. It gets stuck on "Starting Download" or on occasion "Download Unsucessful.".
I've downloaded a lot of programs from android marked without problems, but about a month ago it stopped working. When i press download, i get a message that the X10 mini pro is now downloading the program.... and that is about it.. nothing else happens and im not getting any program.. not even a sign that its downloading.
If i go to the same program in the app-store, that i earlier pressed download, it is saying that it is already starting the download..
I am having trouble downloading from Android market on my Xperia X10 mini pro. I have updated the software from 1.6 to 2.1, I have tried signing out of google talk, removing the market updates and clearing the market cache and have now done a factory reset and I still can't download from the market. Any apps I have tried to download are showing on the market on my computer as being downloaded. My husband has the same phone running the same software and has no problems downloading from the market.
How to stop or cancel download android market ar xperia x8? I have 7 folders ongoing to download from android markt to my mobile and I need to cancel them all? what can I do?
I have just got an xperia x10 and when I go onto the android market and choose something to download it wont download. It just stays on starting download but wont do anything else. I've tried cancelling the download and re- downloading it. I've tried switching phone off and on again, still doesn't work. I've turned wifi off and on and that still doesn't work. How to get it to work?
I rooted my phone a few days ago to remove all the useless apps that the phone comes with. I basically got ride of a code reader, some stupid games, and a bunch of "trial version" applications.I just noticed now that I can't download apps from the Android Market anymore, and this is probably what caused it. Everything else on my phone still works perfectly.
When I try to download an app from the Android Market, I select the app to be downloaded, press "Install", then press "OK" when it gives me the list of what the app has access to.Once I press "OK" a popup appears that says "Your Item Will be Downloaded". That's it. Nothing appears in the notification bar, and the download doesn't go at all.
I am unable to download any application or games from Android market on my X10 inspite of having GPRS connection...do i need to enable any setting in my phone to download these things
my xperia play cannot download at market after i reset factory.i still can open the market. but when i try to download it say starting download all the time but not moving at all.
i can't use my mobile internet here in the philippines, i'm a globe subscriber. they've already given me the settings but it still doesn't work. another prob is, i can't connect to the android market through wi-fi
Over the last few weeks I tried to download or upgrade apps but it always fails. I always get the message: "Download was unsuccessful please try again". When I go to the android market and look at the help front page there is a link called "Download Issues Troubleshooting page". The fix described in here does not work for my phone.
How do I make my phone work properly again.
Also, I am on Android 1.6 but I cannot upgrade to 2.2. The PC Companion says that I have an up to date phone.
I just got the motoblur yesterday and have been trying to download apps from the market ever since. they say "starting download" and then take ages. When i click on it it says it is queued. how do i stop it queueing?
