I've had my play for 2.5 weeks now and recently I have tried to get Battlefield and NFS games on it via the promotional offer from EA, but when I lauched the games, it asked for downloads which I let it do but when it got to 100% it just hangs there and eventually it just say there's an error and I need to reconnect and download again.
View 4 RepliesI just got the Xperia Play and I'm try to play the preploaded games like Ashpalt 6 or Crash Bandicoot. I have to download content to play them but every time I get a error message after it tries to dowload for a few minutes and the yellow status bar goes up a little bit. I've down a settings and factory restore and get the error message every time. While its download my phone will go to sleep and wont respond when hitting the home button. Do I need a new phone?

Got mine and can't download any of the PS games.If you select "Get Games" it takes you to the game choices, pick a game and it goes to Gameloft site.Jump through the hoops there, get a text message with a link. Click on that link and it takes you right back to the Gameloft site. Got a hold of AT&T and got told it's not their problem.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just starting experiencing this yesterday when I tried downloading line messenger but google download bar keeps loading but actually doesnt download it and give an error 194.
I tried downloading other apps and the same happened so I tried troubleshooting by researching over the internet and got a very few solutions like:
-clearing google play store cache and data
-clearing google services cache and data
-then rebooting
I also tried re-syncing my google accounts
I have two of them one is personal and the other is my office
I also tried using just one account but no luck
so eventually I came to a conclusion of hard reset which usually fixes everything
But guess what no luck with a bit of different outcome
the download status keeps downloading but does not actually download only this time it doesn't give any error messages like "194"
I am using wifi i don't use mobile data also my mobile is LG G3 D855 on android lollipop 5.0 which came with the mobile.
So is it my account or my wifi that has a problem or is my phone malfunctioning. Cause I can still download apks and install them just that I cant from google play store...
