Xperia PLAY :: Unable To Download Content To Run Preloaded Games
Aug 26, 2011I just got the Xperia Play and I'm try to play the preploaded games like Ashpalt 6 or Crash Bandicoot. I have to download content to play them but every time I get a error message after it tries to dowload for a few minutes and the yellow status bar goes up a little bit. I've down a settings and factory restore and get the error message every time. While its download my phone will go to sleep and wont respond when hitting the home button. Do I need a new phone?

I don't really want to delete them, as I like them, I just don't want them to be part of my phone if possible.

Jul 16, 2010Is there any way to get rid of those friggin demo games and apps? I don't want any of those games, and I even don't want RoadSync and a lot of other preinstalled apps. I have to say that the X10 mini pro is just as cluttered with pre-installed crapware like any Vaio computer; only there, I can just install my own Linux desktop and get rid of that stuff easily.

Got mine and can't download any of the PS games.If you select "Get Games" it takes you to the game choices, pick a game and it goes to Gameloft site.Jump through the hoops there, get a text message with a link. Click on that link and it takes you right back to the Gameloft site. Got a hold of AT&T and got told it's not their problem.
