I updated my software on my blackberry yesterday and it deleted everything on my phone. Thankfully I just had backed it up so I restored it. But when I did I lost all my preloaded games and some applications. How do I get these back?
My phone encountered an Error 603, for which i performed a wipe of the phone using my mac,and was followed by Error 602, which required me to perform a re-load of the device software. However, on device doftware reload, i find that the bold 9780 signature apps;feeds, appworld, games and other apps have all vanished. i tried installing appworld and the same is not installing, i.e., it installs from the browser, but does not show up on the menu. This also prevents me from installing a lot of other apps which i need to have on the phone. right now its working just as a basic phone with email and preventing me from enjoying the complete blackberry experience.how can i install back all my apps. As I am using a mac, the back up did not include important software like wallet and password keeper, which also I have lost. Also documents to go has gone missing. I have lost a substantial amount of functionality of the phone and without blackberry appworld i dont think i will be able to get any of it back.
I just got the Xperia Play and I'm try to play the preploaded games like Ashpalt 6 or Crash Bandicoot. I have to download content to play them but every time I get a error message after it tries to dowload for a few minutes and the yellow status bar goes up a little bit. I've down a settings and factory restore and get the error message every time. While its download my phone will go to sleep and wont respond when hitting the home button. Do I need a new phone?
I recently bought Storm 2 from M1 Singapore and it was pre loaded with few premium games (can remember Tetris). Anyway after I attached the device to desktop manager it went for auto OS update and while doing the phone hanged and became unusable.I followed some forum here and managed to make it working back by downloading the default device software by M1 site installing it on my desktop and then use Loader to restore things back.
Surprisingly the phone was working fine but all my premium games were lost. I approached to M1 and they reloaded the same OS again but it was same as the one on web and my premium games were lost.
I called the hotline support and it was even more funny that after talking so long they followed up next day with some freeware site link and asking me to download it from there. It does not exist. Is there anyone here from Singapore who can list the name of games and apps which comes preloaded on their Storm 2 from M1. Can I get the OTA link?
I just received a new blackberry 9790 phone from my Canadian Phone company (Fido) and I have noticed that there is song already on the device, which I did not put on there. The song title is named "Road Regrets" by Dan Mangan. Does anyone know if this song is preloaded in some or all 9790 blackberry devices or is it possible that someone before me owned this device and returned it to the phone company?
My Tour 9630 lost default apps such as: Maps, BrickBreaker and other game ... Office Documents viewer ... all of these apps were installed fine until the time i did some wipe and it never appeared again!

I installed an application called Folder Icons and then managed to inadvertently change the new Purple Games icon to a standard Symbian Anna folder icon. Does anyone know a way of restoring individual icons for folders such as Games? I've tried reappying Themes but they just keep the standard folder icon.
Is there a way I can make some of the pre-loaded games like Crash Bandicoot or Star Battalion and just make them like regular games so I can move them to an SD card and get get them off my phone?
I don't really want to delete them, as I like them, I just don't want them to be part of my phone if possible.
I just bought a Samsung Impact (T794) without a data plan. Is there a way to copy downloaded Java games into the Games Cell Folder through the USB?Whenever I try, I can only copy it to the other folders on the phone or Mini-SD card and the phone will not recognize/run the program in Java.
I have deleted the preloaded MP3 tracks from the nokia 5530 on my computer but if I go to the musicplayer and I choose artists for instance, I can still see the artists from the preloaded tracks. I have a very frustrating problem with my pre-loaded OVI Maps on my n900. At first I was kinda **bleep** off, because I was not able to install the pre-loaded maps at all,but after some digging in the forums I found a way to do it and to my surprise, after I installed them, my phone is still searching for an internet connection to connect to and if I don't select one,my gps programme (ovi maps) simply refuses to get a lock or anything. I thought the whole point of pre-loading the maps was to "save on internet traffic" but I guess either I got that wrong,or I'm doing something wrong.
I replaced the original memory card on my E5 with a new, larger one. All OK, except I lost the media gallery preloaded on the first card, of which the pictures were the most important. Problem is I used that card on another phone and formatted it since, so I can't recover the files from there. Is there any way to download that gallery anywhere? If not, I would be very grateful to any kind soul who could create an archive from his or her phone and post it somewhere for me to get to.
I recently purchased off of EBAY my second Blackberry Bold 9000. The first one had several games such as Brick Breaker, Poker and Word Mole, but the one I just received does not have any games on the phone. Did I get taken or is there a way they can be added?
Is there any way of deleting preloaded software like twitter bebo bbm etc and perloaded bookmarks like tmobile in the browser.I only want things that i have bookmarked?
I really enjoy the new layout and functions of the software update, however I noticed that it deleted MOST of my standard bb notifications that come on the black berry. Notifier Cricket, Relaxed Gong, etc. There was probably 100 before and now there are less than 40.
I deleted the accuweather.com widget that was preloaded on my Droid 2. Now I would like to get it back but when I download the accuweather.com app, it is like all other apps and just has a simple icon. The original widget had the current weather always up so I just needed to glance at it.
Using the Admiral on the Sprint Network. Unless I'm missing something, it would appear that this phone did not come pre-loaded with a virtual keyboard. I use a LogMeIn Ignition to remotely access our work computers from the phone, but when I need to type numbers they don't register from the physical keyboard. Ignition has a softkey to bring up the virtual keyboard, but since one was not pre-loaded on the phone it doesn't pull anything up. I installed a couple of different virtual keyboards from the Market, but still no luck. Is there an update that includes a virtual keyboard as part of the operating software package? This app works fine on my Android tablet, pulls up the virtual keyboard and the numbers register.
