I recently purchased off of EBAY my second Blackberry Bold 9000. The first one had several games such as Brick Breaker, Poker and Word Mole, but the one I just received does not have any games on the phone. Did I get taken or is there a way they can be added?

I have a Samsung link but I don't like the display. I want it to look like a Samsung free form display. Does anyone know how to do that? Also, I wanted to know if I can put free games on it also.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am wondering if there is a way to copy games from one blackberry phone to another. Both my husband and I got new bb - his is 8320 and mine is 8310. When everything was transfered from our old bb i lost all of the games that were on mine but all of his transfered. Is there a way for me to copy the games using either the desktop manager or Bluetooth? Or is there another way as I am having alot of difficulties downloading new games to transfer from the desktop manager to my phone?

Go to options>advanced options>service book Then delete the service books for those demo games and the icons disappear, I have done it with both my 8520 and my 9700.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy phone encountered an Error 603, for which i performed a wipe of the phone using my mac,and was followed by Error 602, which required me to perform a re-load of the device software. However, on device doftware reload, i find that the bold 9780 signature apps;feeds, appworld, games and other apps have all vanished. i tried installing appworld and the same is not installing, i.e., it installs from the browser, but does not show up on the menu. This also prevents me from installing a lot of other apps which i need to have on the phone. right now its working just as a basic phone with email and preventing me from enjoying the complete blackberry experience.how can i install back all my apps. As I am using a mac, the back up did not include important software like wallet and password keeper, which also I have lost. Also documents to go has gone missing. I have lost a substantial amount of functionality of the phone and without blackberry appworld i dont think i will be able to get any of it back.

Though once when my brother sent me an application that got saved in the games folder via bluetooth. I could open the folder for about 5 sec, before it again crashed.

I transfer the game to the phone, fine but when I try to run it it tells me that its an "unsuported file format". Now I know this is because the phone has been locked so that you have to DL stuff directly to the phone but I don't have a data plan and would really like to be able to put these games and such onto my phone from my computer.

I have the Bold 9650 OS 5.0.0.699. Also on Sunday afternoon I dialed *228 (Verizon) to update my roaming capabilities.it was successful and after about 30 seconds by phone rebooted itself. Yes, I have done a battery pull.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've just gotten a Bold 9700 and noticed that even though I have the option to sync the profile pictures of my friends with my contacts profiles on the phone, the pictures for my phone contacts remain blank. The Facebook profiles are linked to my contacts and sometimes will show the Facebook profile picture but after a while the picture reverts to a blank icon again. I've also unselected the option to sync and re-enabled the option to update Blackberry contacts with my Facebook contacts to try and force the pictures to update but no success.
I was thinking that it might also be because of a conflict wiyth other apps trying to update the contact pictures seeing as I originally imported all my contatcs from my Gmail account but I am unable to figure out which other apps, if any, are updating contact pics and thereby turn them off.
Blackberry contacts linked to a LinkedIn profile show their LinkedIn profile pics correctly though and other than that I only have BB Messenger, GTalk, Windows Live Messenger and Facebook that are linked to my Blackberry contacts.Any ideas on how I can get my contacts' pictures to sync correctly with Facebook?
I'm a long time lurker, but a new member...I have been searching for any way to get games on my new lg cosmos. I have tried replacing the ez tip calc, but on the cosmos, it is a .vis file, basically everything is! LG got smart on not putting .swf, but I'm pretty sure it has flash capabilities. Is there any way to get java, brew, or flash on it?
