Nov 17, 2011Using the Admiral on the Sprint Network. Unless I'm missing something, it would appear that this phone did not come pre-loaded with a virtual keyboard. I use a LogMeIn Ignition to remotely access our work computers from the phone, but when I need to type numbers they don't register from the physical keyboard. Ignition has a softkey to bring up the virtual keyboard, but since one was not pre-loaded on the phone it doesn't pull anything up. I installed a couple of different virtual keyboards from the Market, but still no luck. Is there an update that includes a virtual keyboard as part of the operating software package? This app works fine on my Android tablet, pulls up the virtual keyboard and the numbers register.

May 17, 2011I get a Star shaped thing in the notifier bar on the top. When I pull it down it says "Meet Local Singles" I hit clear but it keeps coming back every day. Is there a list of Apps that do this? My most recent app is QRDroid so I did delete that. The others (MANY others) are months old but update frequently so how would I know? I've heard about Droid Wall but I need apps to access internet for weather info, movie info, xfinity listings etc so I don't want an app that randomly blocks internet access for apps that legitimately need it. Could it be Call Blocker (Easy Filter) app?

Dec 11, 2011Apparently a recently added app randomly places a white star with a red dot in it..Along with the time, temp, battery icons..The ads vary, the one there now is meet singles.. When I find out which app it is, it's gone with a note to the creator.. Is there a way to find the app doing it.. This is the first time I've seen any ads since day one!!!! Ad only pops up when you touch the start then a little box you can X out or tap in the box to open the link.

Apr 16, 2010I have deleted the preloaded MP3 tracks from the nokia 5530 on my computer but if I go to the musicplayer and I choose artists for instance, I can still see the artists from the preloaded tracks. If I try to delete these maps, I receive an error. It's impossible to delete them. Does anyone know how I can delete them?

Mar 18, 2010I have a very frustrating problem with my pre-loaded OVI Maps on my n900. At first I was kinda **bleep** off,because I was not able to install the pre-loaded maps at all,but after some digging in the forums I found a way to do it and to my surprise, after I installed them, my phone is still searching for an internet connection to connect to and if I don't select one,my gps programme (ovi maps) simply refuses to get a lock or anything. I thought the whole point of pre-loading the maps was to "save on internet traffic" but I guess either I got that wrong,or I'm doing something wrong.

Aug 26, 2011I just got the Xperia Play and I'm try to play the preploaded games like Ashpalt 6 or Crash Bandicoot. I have to download content to play them but every time I get a error message after it tries to dowload for a few minutes and the yellow status bar goes up a little bit. I've down a settings and factory restore and get the error message every time. While its download my phone will go to sleep and wont respond when hitting the home button. Do I need a new phone?
