There is a gold star with a little black star in the centre, in my notification bar.Ive clicked on it but it doesnt tell me what it is> if tried turning my phone off, taking the battery out etc.
I apologize if this has already been covered elsewhere, but is there any setting somewhere that will keep the Red Star notification on until the particular email/sms itself is opened (rather than just opening the email/sms folder)?I'd like to have the Red Star stay on even after I check the folder, until I open the actual email/sms itself.
I bought the Bold 9900 - it has the enhanced gMail plugin preinstalled - which I havent used since BBOS 5. The option to archive, report spam etc are all there - all except add star.
I have a star icon on the notification bar and don't know what it is and how to get rid of it. I went to the user guide message icons page but the star icon is not listed there.
Everytime i receive an email, no matter to which email(5 different emails) the blackberry doesnt notify me except with the symbol at the top of the screen. And to find the email i have to go to the messages folder because i dont get the red star on the email folder linked to the email i just received!its driving me crazy ive tried everything, any thoughts?
whenever i recieve a bbm message i dont get the little red star on the messages icon anymore, im not 100% sure if i did in the first place but it would be odd if i didnt!? emails its the same case i believe (not 100% sure on that one though)i use the imagining mmmooo theme that is in the top 25 free list... does this have an affect upon this?
I'm sorry I looked for a similar thread but didn't see one. I have an indicator that just popped up....on my home screen right next to my email/message indicator....it is a blue box with 4 dots and has a little red star in the top corner of the blue box (similar to new email star).
My blackberry curve 9300 has a star at the top of the screen where you get notification's its been there for about a month and is starting to get annoying.
I have recently had a problem with my Blackberry 8520.I appear to have a little email icon with a red star showing on the left handside of the screem (usually where the answerphone message icon usually appears)however, I haven't got any new emails to read. My email boxes do not appear to have a little red star indicating I have new emails. All I have is a little baby icon in the top left hand corner.I have taken the battery and SIM card out of the phone, turned it on and off and still no luck.
The red star notifier for messages and emails no longer appears. When I'm notified of a new email or text I can only tell which one it is by the shape of the icon as no red star appears. This only started happening when I registered my email address on the phone. How do I get the red stars back?
I've seen the star appear a handful of times since I got my X back in November. Unfortunately, I can't pinpoint anything that I was doing at the time when the star appeared, why it was there.
My Torch today decided to starup in a loop. Startup bar goes to the end and then starts over again, hence a loop. What can I do to fix this on my own? I've tried taking the battery out and that hasnt worked
I played the game before I did software update, and once it's done I tried to play Star Battalion game, but it could not be operational after its intro video finished and blanks out white to quit the game entirely on its own.
i was looking at apples web site and i saw the picture of the iphone with the star screws then i check mine and they weren't like that and it looks like one of the screws was overturned and it feels rough on the edges does anyone else have this problem?
Few days ago I bought a Blackberry Torch 9800. But, I don t know how to transfer my Address book from my old Samsung Star to my new BlackBerry Torch 9800.
All of a sudden I have a yellow star icon on the home page - in the same place as where you get notifiactions of emails, texts, etc. I have no idea what it is or where it came from. It appears over night while I was not using the phone.
Yesterday I updated to 5.1.1. I use handcent and now when I get a text message it shows the normal icon as it is coming through, but then it just goes to a star icon. If I pull down the menu, it shows the normal icon. After doing some research I found something that says it is interruption mode, but my phone does not have anything in settings or by pressing the volume button doesn't give those options either. How to remove the star icon? I have different icons set up for different people and I would like to be able to look at the notification bar to see who it is from without having to swipe down.
Many people have been looking for the S5230 and S5233 Star themes like Iphone, StarBerry and StarDroid so I thought I would post a link to the largest collection I have found. All are free and the patch guides are easy to use. http://darkforestgroup.com Hope this helps!
I get a Star shaped thing in the notifier bar on the top. When I pull it down it says "Meet Local Singles" I hit clear but it keeps coming back every day. Is there a list of Apps that do this? My most recent app is QRDroid so I did delete that. The others (MANY others) are months old but update frequently so how would I know? I've heard about Droid Wall but I need apps to access internet for weather info, movie info, xfinity listings etc so I don't want an app that randomly blocks internet access for apps that legitimately need it. Could it be Call Blocker (Easy Filter) app?
