Aug 21, 2015Yesterday I updated to 5.1.1. I use handcent and now when I get a text message it shows the normal icon as it is coming through, but then it just goes to a star icon. If I pull down the menu, it shows the normal icon. After doing some research I found something that says it is interruption mode, but my phone does not have anything in settings or by pressing the volume button doesn't give those options either. How to remove the star icon? I have different icons set up for different people and I would like to be able to look at the notification bar to see who it is from without having to swipe down.

Jun 28, 2012I got the orange triangle notification yesterday saying something about having to re-enter my password. I enter it and I'm told it's invalid but I know it isn't. I change the password three or four times and keep getting the same results. However going directly to a Google site the passwords worked every time and yet my phone authentication whatever you want to call it tells me its wrong. Can't access Google play or update any app atm.

Feb 26, 2015On the app icons for Facebook and Email, I have orange circles with a number in them showing new emails or Facebook notifications. I want to make the orange FB notifications DISAPPEAR. My belief is that since I see that orange # show up so frequently, with every new comment to a FB post, that my device must be pushing notifications and checking FB every 10 minutes, wearing down my battery. So I would like to end that.
I have already:
1.Gone to App Settings > Refresh Interval and said NEVER
2.Gone to App Settings > Notifications and choose INACTIVE
3.Gone to Account Settings > Notifications > Mobile Push and UNCHECKED everything
I have also gone to Device Settings > Applications > Application Manager > Facebook and UNCHECKED Show Notifications.
The same orange circle with number of new emails show on my email icon, but I don't mind that so much. However, if I can disable it, perhaps I can find my way to disable on Facebook.

Jul 27, 2011I am the user of bold 9780 and updated version of facebook. I'm having a problem since yesterday that the FB notification has not come out and this never happen to me before. What make me really disappointed is when I press "Notification" in menu, its come out what I'm posting, not the posting that made from my friend. I checked the "Option" menu but nothing changed even I reinstall but the problem is still there, just now I'm using my android to check the notification, I checked also your facebook support page but the solution is no use for me as I set that already.

Apr 20, 2012I have recently had a problem with my Blackberry 8520.I appear to have a little email icon with a red star showing on the left handside of the screem (usually where the answerphone message icon usually appears)however, I haven't got any new emails to read. However, in my settings it says I have used 23.5mb + 168mb, and in the Your Orange app it says I have used 305mb! Quite a big difference

Jul 11, 2011I live in England and have a Blackberry Bold 9700 on Orange. For months now I've had the desktop software version 6 and have recently installed an update for it of 6.1; yet it always says there is no update available for software on my phone. However, when I took my phone in for repair they updated it to 0S6, so did they use a leaked version then? The reason I ask is because that phone eventually got replaced with the same make and model but came with the older software, and I miss OS6 but am wary of downloading a leaked version.
So was just looking for some advice really - will Orange be releasing 0S6 for Bold 9700 or will I have to get a leaked version and if so how do I do this, hopefully without causing any problems to my phone?
