my phone Xperia Play R800i stopped vibrate in games. I think it is not hardware because the phone vibrates on calls normally, touch screens, etc.. But I do not know if the vibrator gamepad is the same phone vibrator.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI upgraded my firmware with PC Companion.I have been using my Xperia without any problem till the update for a year. After the update I placed my sim card, it asked for SIM PIN and the pin accepted. I waited for the region, chose it, then it poped out Please insert SIM and restart. I tried everything, reseat the SIM,checked my SIM, it is fine with other mobiles, wiped it, as I said before it asks for pin, then I went through changing the pin number, it said there is no sim card.

i recently upgrade my x-play to the 2.3.4 version.and one thing im upset about is that i cant play the games i got free, like the sims 3, madden nfl, and star battalion.the star battalion ask me to download the game data again and the sims 3 and madden would start but then close itself in a few second.

Got mine and can't download any of the PS games.If you select "Get Games" it takes you to the game choices, pick a game and it goes to Gameloft site.Jump through the hoops there, get a text message with a link. Click on that link and it takes you right back to the Gameloft site. Got a hold of AT&T and got told it's not their problem.

View 9 Replies View RelatedFirst, when I bought my Xperia Play(4 months ago)my home network WiFi worked very well on it but today when I search for wifi network I just can not find it I checked my laptop: the WiFi was working very well and I checked my family phones (Android and Iphone) and also they are connecting and working.i tried to do the next : 1- turn off and on my modem (I think it is called like that, I am not that good in networks) but nothing happened
2-turn off and on wifi on my phone
3-turn off and on my Xperia Play
4-Uninstalled go launcher
last things I have did before this happened :
1- Installed a game from the market that uses WiFi called : The Sims Free Play
2- Installed go launcher and go locker with ICS theme
More information : when I go to my WiFi settings I see that IP address is Unavailable.
So the Power/Lock button on my Xperia Play has stopped working.
It's my Girlfriend's old phone, and she says it's around a year and 2 months old, so it's out of warranty (Assuming the warrranty is a year)
Thinking it was a software issue, I took the battery out and put it back in again, but now the phone won't turn on, as said button is not working.
I recently dropped my phone about 2 feet and the screen cracked a bit in the upper right-hand corner. The phone has been fine for about a week since the incident, no problems at all. Yesterday I noticed there was some slight bugginess with regards to the touchscreen. I turned it off then back on, and it began to be unresponsive entirely, so I put the phone away and ignored it for a minute. I try again and it works just fine. A few minutes later, the same issue happened again, but I had no luck just ignoring it. I am unable to unlock my phone at all. I can still navigate through the power options just fine using the d-pad. I tried connecting it to a computer and to a power source and had no luck with that either. The phone won't charge and won't mount on a computer.
