I accidently force stopped the account and sync setting (Xperia play) and now my sim and all contacts has been wiped.
Can you restart thi if it has been stopped and can I get my contacts back?
Hi everyone, I just got a Sony Ericsson Xperia yesterday. I was in the process of syncing a facebook accout, but when i touch "facebook" it kicks me back to the screen previous. This is my second smartphone, so I have done this numerous times, but never had this much issue.

The only solution i have is to restart the phone.This has now become daily issue to restart the phone & sometimes i reboot the phone twice a day, There is no option of force stopping the application & neither i could find out how to remove the application. I just dont know what is he prob with this phone....even after rebooting daily how come the application itself starts running....

I had no issues with this account until last week, when my Exchange server migrated.I tried adding the new server name, but that did not fix the problem. I was advised by my company (Microsoft) tech support to delete the Corporate Sync account and then re-create it.I proceeded to create the Corporate Sync account via Setting > Accounts > Add Account > Corporate Sync, but when I keyed in my information (Email address, Password, Domain, and Username) and clicked Next, I received this error:Sorry! View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Xperia X10 mini got switched off automatically and since then it is showing that "sorry, the process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly, with an option tab for 'Force close'." And since then it is not rceiving or sending any signal. It is also not getting connected to the PC. My repeated attempts by switching it OFF-on have yielded no results. That sorry window doesnot allow me to access anything in the mobile but for some duration of milliseconds when it is force closed with the option tab.

The reply from support is simply update software, I can't see why I have to do all this, as apart from anything else I don't currently have a phone line for internet due to illegal BT sales activity! It is also suggested that I send phone off in a jiffy bag to be repaired if unsuccessful, and what do I do for a phone in the mean time?? Not only that they suggest that it will cost me if it is not a fault they cover.

View 9 Replies View RelatedFirst, when I bought my Xperia Play(4 months ago)my home network WiFi worked very well on it but today when I search for wifi network I just can not find it I checked my laptop: the WiFi was working very well and I checked my family phones (Android and Iphone) and also they are connecting and working.i tried to do the next : 1- turn off and on my modem (I think it is called like that, I am not that good in networks) but nothing happened
2-turn off and on wifi on my phone
3-turn off and on my Xperia Play
4-Uninstalled go launcher
last things I have did before this happened :
1- Installed a game from the market that uses WiFi called : The Sims Free Play
2- Installed go launcher and go locker with ICS theme
More information : when I go to my WiFi settings I see that IP address is Unavailable.
So the Power/Lock button on my Xperia Play has stopped working.
It's my Girlfriend's old phone, and she says it's around a year and 2 months old, so it's out of warranty (Assuming the warrranty is a year)
Thinking it was a software issue, I took the battery out and put it back in again, but now the phone won't turn on, as said button is not working.
my phone Xperia Play R800i stopped vibrate in games. I think it is not hardware because the phone vibrates on calls normally, touch screens, etc.. But I do not know if the vibrator gamepad is the same phone vibrator.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI recently dropped my phone about 2 feet and the screen cracked a bit in the upper right-hand corner. The phone has been fine for about a week since the incident, no problems at all. Yesterday I noticed there was some slight bugginess with regards to the touchscreen. I turned it off then back on, and it began to be unresponsive entirely, so I put the phone away and ignored it for a minute. I try again and it works just fine. A few minutes later, the same issue happened again, but I had no luck just ignoring it. I am unable to unlock my phone at all. I can still navigate through the power options just fine using the d-pad. I tried connecting it to a computer and to a power source and had no luck with that either. The phone won't charge and won't mount on a computer.

So I did make a sony-ericsson account and I filled in all the required fields and then click on submit. Next I get a message I need to fill in all the required fields and the field where you need to fill in your country(Belgium in my case) is turned red. But the problem is that this boxed was already filled in. It doesn't matter which country I choose, it always says that this box isn't filled in.

Open Play Music, start playing an album or something. Lock phone via power button. Wake the phone. Unlock it or don't, it doesn't make a difference. Bring down the notifications shade. Press a volume button.
I saw this app called Analytics Viewer running on my Razr. What is this app? Is it something Motorola put in? The permissions are extensive. It cannot be uninstalled or force stopped.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI am trying to set up my corporate exchange email in my Z3, but i get a message of "you do not have permission to sync with this server....". I have no problems setting up exchange email in my Samsung or Ipad using the same credentials.
My Z3 has android version is 4.4.4.
When I try to access the manage applications option under settings, it shows the spinning icon stating its working and then finally the apps look like they're loaded and when I try to scroll down it is EXTREMELY slow. After scrolling for a couple of seconds, it slows down and then stops. After being frozen for about a minute,I get the infamous black popup stating: process com.android.settings has stopped unexpectedly...force close.Also, I am unable to add quick dial contacts. I can get to the screen where it show 1-9 options with Voicemail alredy being #1, but I long press the number I want to edit and then select the contact to use but when it exits back to the quick dial page the contact I just chose is not there.I have the extended battery and prior to the GB update, my battery widget was showing 4200-4230 for the mV readings. Now, it is only showing up to 4155. I put the stock battery in to check that and the same thing, it stops at 4155.

For the past one week whenever Gmail app is opened it shows 'Waiting for sync' and after 30 seconds or so the app closes with the message ' Unfortunately - Gmail has stopped'. What a stress.....I don't have any problem with gmail. Its just other email (msn. corporate email) that I have in addition to gmail... what it does exactly is,
1. I click 'messaging' from home screen.
2. it opens with white background not showing any icon for msn or corp-email.
3. as soon as it covers white background it just comes back to home screen.
same in 'my account' icon...
