My Blackberry Torch will not power on. It was working today with a slight delay and in attempt to speed it up I attempted to power off and was unable to do so. I then took that battery pack out but was unable to power back on at all. The battery is fully charged.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy blackberry torch seems to be a bit faulty in some way at the min , I've recently purchased several batteries for the phone, all of which working perfectly when I leave the shop, when home I charge them up to full and use it as normal no problems. I continue to use the phone until it completely runs out of charge but when it comes to charging it again it shows a battery with a Red Cross through it and after reading other comments of just leaving it to charge I did that but nothing happened so went back to the shop they tested the battery only to find it completely unuseable and me having to buy a new one.

It remained plugged into my laptop overnight, during which time the laptop went into sleep mode. When I opened up the screen this morning, the BlackBerry dialog box said the update was completed successfully; however, I have been unable to turn the phone on at all. This afternoon my Iphone 3gs started to vibrate continously for about 2/3 minsutes whilst having a black screen. I then tried to bring the home screen up and none of the buttons would work. The power button hasn't worked for sometime so the remedy of holding the power and home button together won't work.
Is there anything I can do or is it completely dead with no chance of survival?

I couldnt do anything, waited about 5 minuites and still frozen so i did a battery pull.When i popped the battery back in....nothing. can't do anything with it, if I remove the battery and put back the logo goes back on and again, thats it.When pluging it to a usb my pc makes a sound like something was connected but the flasher and NSU do not find anything even with the "u" key pressed down.

I haven't seen anyone having this issue out of the numerous ones I've seen on this site. My iPhone 4's screen was sometimes going black. Hitting the home or power button wouldn't turn it back on. I'd have to hold down the home and power buttons to do a hard reboot to get it back up.
I returned my phone yesterday to get replaced because I was also having the No SIM Card Installed error. My new iPhone 4 is having the same black screen issue occasionally, though.
My phone was working perfectly fine this morning when I got up. I went to make a call, it wouldn't connect so I went to Restart it, it froze on the "Starting Apps" screen. I did the whole "Holding the volume & Power" It powers up like it should, but doesn't move past the Samsung S6 Edge Screen. The blue light is flickering on it also. I don't know what to do!!!

Today, I was going to back up my phone but my battery went flat before I could do this and now I cant get the phone back on!! Some have suggested holding down the volume up button then plugging in the usb lead while connected to a computer, it didn't work. I have also tried the volume down button and the home button at the same time while plugged in via usb, this didn't work either. how I can get into recovery mode without using the power button, I really need to get the phone back on, the battery is sealed in.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy phone told me i had to update it to new software.So I connected it to my computer (running win7).I started the nokia phone update software, which correctly identified my phone etc. It told me it was normal it could say the phone got disconnected.After a few minutes, it told me my phone was disconnected and I had to unplug it, unplug battery, put everything back in and press power for 1 second to resume updating. That doesn't workHard resetting with shift + space + backspace also doesn't work. The phone vibrates for a second and does nothing. I do see a little red light inside the navi-pad.

I actually found it a very good idea, one of the best and most intuitive since I started to use it.ow I often do not end my calls properly and that cauese me a lot of trouble. Local SE customer support told me that it is a firmware matter and cannot be changed. Isn't there any HW buttons configurator or another way to configure the HW buttons on the phone?

I was talked into by a sales rep into buying another Xperia after experiencing the exact same problem with the older version as im now experiencing with my current model. I rely heavily on my phone and this is a massive inconvenience to me. The problem running out of power/charger not charging/ not being able to switch back on. Then the problem resolves itself only to happen again... And again... And again. This is not good enough. Funnily enough both models ive had problems with just after the warranty runs out. Leaving me with using my phone insurance not only making my phone insurance more expensive the following year but having to pay an excess charge.

Condition before the incident: perfect.
I always took a full care of my belongings (especially the electronics). This phone was only used by me. I never over charged it and always update it. I also never overloaded it with softwares.Today the phone just refused to turn on (no lights, vibration, nothing at all). Even when I tried charging it, the battery never gave a sign of the charging process.
I have used my phone around 3 AM, at that time I remember the phone having between 25 to 20 % of battery life, and was working fine. I went to bed and woke up around 7:30 AM, that is when I found the phone off. I then tried charging it normally because I never thought that it will never turn back on, I assumed that it ran out of battery and that it needed charging. I tried every method of recharge I was able to perform (of the wall, changed the charger, off a USB cord connected to my laptop, etc).
I luckily had a recent back up, because I updated the software then. Yet, I think its ridiculous because I have paid a lot to get this phone (I actually purchased two of them and now I am nervous that the other one will have the same fate).For now, I am using my an older phone (bold 9780) and contacted T-Mobile USA and see if they can help me, and unfortunately they did not have any clue as they claim, about this dilemma. Meanwhile, I found many people owning bold 9900 and 9930 models complaining from the same problem that I have encountered.
Obtained my Droid3 two weeks ago and I'm now finding that it will not charge.Long story short: I did not charge my device for 2 days straight, upon complete epletion of the battery's power I hooked it upto the wall charger and noticed that the screen turned on with the droid symbol and subsequently the charging icon. I left it to charge, and after a while when it was upto 15% I attempted to turn it on by pressing the power button (without holding it down), which caused the screen to go black and ceased the charging.ow whenever I try to charge the device via the wall charger, the white charging LED (between the microUSB and miniHDMI inputs) turns on occasionally and remains there for an hour, after which it goes off again. When I try to charge via the computer the same thing happens, except after 45min or so of charging, the device repeatedly connects and disconnects from the computer USB (the usb connection and disconnection sounds ping repeatedly until I unplug the device). This also happens when I try and turn on the device while charging via USB.
Normally after 45min of charging from the computer the device will turn on, with the Droid logo appearing and system activated. Now it will not turn on at all.I have tried removing the battery from the device for at least a min and then recharging, I've also tried removing and re-inserting the battery while the Droid3 is connected to the charger to no avail. To replicate the situation, I've left the battery without charging for a period of 48 hours, and then tried to charge it again via wall charger; same problem: the white LED turned on for about an hour and then went out. The device did not turn on this time. My suspiscions are on the battery..The phone is a great piece of hardware and I've grown to love it, yet I had honestly no idea it would be susceptible to such trivial conditions 3 weeks out of the box. I've ordered an extended battery just in case
nokia lumia 1020 has just gone dead no response from the phone tried hard and soft reset nothing happens tried plugging in a charger into charger port on the phone and still nothing before it went off the phone had half battery life in it and was expreincing phone freezing up and the phone slowed down and now wont come on at all i have had the battery replaced and still no joy the phone shop tried to flash the software and no connectivity with computer also the phone shop checked my old battery with another lumia 1020 and that worked so the issue wasnt the battery
View 2 Replies View RelatedI washed my iPhone 4s last week. I just got my replacement phone. I want to restore from iCloud (for my calendar) and iTunes (for everthing else like contacts, etc.) but when I try to do that it says I have to turn off "find my phone" from my old iPhone. My old phone's display is dead so I can't do anything on it. It still rings when I get a call but I can't answer it.
