My 5610'flash/LED is dead. Few days ago I wanted to take a photo with flash but it did not work and today it does not work too.What should i do for it so that it start to work?
View 10 RepliesI have a nokia 5610 and i have two question:
1) above the screen, there are two things, one of them is the camera , what is the other thing and what does it do?
2) behind the slider, ( the on that goes to music player and radio ) , there is a light that keeps flashing, there is no missed call or anything that would cause it to flash. It doesn't flash all the time, from time to time it starts to work. why does it flash?
3) is there anyway that i can make the flash of the camera to work as a flash light?
My phone was able to send pictures before but now it will not, yet I can still receive pictures.
View 4 Replies View Relatedi think i have done all the googling and forum-searching i can do and still no luck answering my question so i hope someone will help me here. I bought my e71 (straight talk) in march '11 and up until about 1 or 2 months ago you tube and other sites w/ flash video worked just fine. But one day i just started getting msgs popping up saying 'you need to upgrade adobe flash player to view this site' and this happens with every single website i've tried even sites that i had no problem with before. I'm assuming i have flash lite 3.0 from what i've read online but beyond that i have no idea what version firmware or anything my phone has and i can't find the info anywhere on my phone or how to update anything. My device manager says 'no server profile found' and i can't figure out how to make one, if that would even help. I'm completely lost. The main reason i bought this phone was because i wanted to watch videos online and i only had it about 8 months before it seemed to become obsolete! I read horror stories about bad firmware updates so if there is a way to just update flash player i would prefer to do that rather than the firmware update. So my simplified question(s) is/are what should i do and how do i do it? Flash player upgrade? System update? Firmware update? make a device server profile?

View 14 Replies View RelatedIt wasn't a huge problem before, bet phone isn't reading memory card and has started to reset it self. Lagging became much more active as well. I took it to shop which fix phones, So it reinstalled my 10V OS (I had installed it by my self) into 9.40V it is quite better, but phone lags a lot, restarts it self, memory card isn't working well too. Memory card is good, works on other devices, and I used it for lot of time before on this device.

I have goggled this fault and although it appears to be a common fault I couldn't find any solutions for it, just a lot of blah blah blah from people that obviously had no idea what they where talking about - full of there own importance I think. So here I am at Nokia expecting to get the exact solution.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have problem with my X6-00 16GB primary camera. When I turn camera on, screen stays black, only this focusing white box and other symbols are visible on screen. But no picture. When I push "take picture button", then focusing box starts blinking and stays like this, until camera goes standby mode. Secondary camera, in front of the phone is working fine. Also I have a Flashlight program (Brightlight v1.0) on my phone and it doesn't turn camera flash on, like it should be.
I gave my phone to friend who reset phone to the factory settings. After that camera worked for a while, but one day it was again black. I have done a couple of times software reinstall with nokia ovi suite on my computer. After that camera works couple of days or only couple of hours and then goes black again. Software version is the newest for that phone, v32.0.002.
last week, I went to the beach with my friends and unfortunately, my dear phone was dropped in the water T.T. I tried to take the battery out immediately. 2 days later, I put the battery back, it seems to work well EXCEPT the middle / main button T.T. I tried to hit that button hard but it's not working.

Is there any solution of how to fix this? Im getting the incase snap case which should be delivered to my home today but i wont be seeing the case until i get home from vacation on monday.

Last night I had left my BB on my table, didn't touch it till I went to set my alarm, when I noticed the flash constantly going on and off. So I went to stop it by just pressing the red handset button but it still wouldn't stop flashing. I was pressing every button on the BB so after 5 minutes or so I just took the back off and the battery out waited another few moments then put it back together.
The flashing had stopped but the red light was on which seemed like forever. Then it came up with a screen with a long bar and it was loading up. Then I had to confirm the date and time, all was ok. But my screen saver pic wasn't there just the standard BB one. I went to change it back and that is when I saw that all my photos and pics had gone!! I was so upset as I had some holiday pics on there.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had pictures on my motorola phone and transferred them by blue tooth to my nokia 5230, as i don't have USB cable for the motorola phone to move them to my computer while i do have it for the nokia (my computer has no blue tooth capabilities). And strange the pictures get always put by default in the inbox of my nokia and when i connect the nokia 5230 to my computer through the USB cable, the wizard that opens to move files between the phone and computer, doesn't move or synchronize those pictures, it moves all the files in my inbox except those pictures and when i try to explore the files content of the nokia phone on my computer by exploring my mobile phone drive which shows 2 drives, one for the phone memory card and one for the phone SIM card, I can see all files on my phone SIM or memory card except those pictures. I can never email or text those pictures direct from the phone as the phone doesn't at all provide any option to do that and doesn't allow to move the pictures to any other folder on my phone except to My Folders which acts the same like inbox of not allowing any option to move them out of there through USB or email or text. The only way to do it is to move them one by one to my gallery which allows all files stored in it to get synchronized with my computer, the only problem with this method is I have 1000 pictures and moving them individually would take days. Any help how to move those pictures to my computer in one shot?

I get this orange glow in all the pictures, with no flash it looks better and whites look more white without the orange tint. A wall that should be pitch white looks more dull and orange for example with flash, same goes for skin color. It feels like the flash is shooting amber out or something.

When I look at the camera the shutter is not there and it looks like I'm about to take a photo. Its almost like the shutter is stuck. When I go onto my camera app there is no picture and it looks like I am in a dark room when I am not, but the options, exit and ect show up. Condition before the incident: perfect.
I always took a full care of my belongings (especially the electronics). This phone was only used by me. I never over charged it and always update it. I also never overloaded it with softwares.Today the phone just refused to turn on (no lights, vibration, nothing at all). Even when I tried charging it, the battery never gave a sign of the charging process.
I have used my phone around 3 AM, at that time I remember the phone having between 25 to 20 % of battery life, and was working fine. I went to bed and woke up around 7:30 AM, that is when I found the phone off. I then tried charging it normally because I never thought that it will never turn back on, I assumed that it ran out of battery and that it needed charging. I tried every method of recharge I was able to perform (of the wall, changed the charger, off a USB cord connected to my laptop, etc).
I luckily had a recent back up, because I updated the software then. Yet, I think its ridiculous because I have paid a lot to get this phone (I actually purchased two of them and now I am nervous that the other one will have the same fate).For now, I am using my an older phone (bold 9780) and contacted T-Mobile USA and see if they can help me, and unfortunately they did not have any clue as they claim, about this dilemma. Meanwhile, I found many people owning bold 9900 and 9930 models complaining from the same problem that I have encountered.
