I have a problem with my one week old N8. Maybe I am mistaken but although I can geotag my videos, I cannot geotag pictures. I opened geotagging in both but camera always indicates that geotagging is not available.

For some reason after upgrading to Belle I have lost the option to switch geo-tagging on in the camera settings. It is just not there where it used to be. I need this for work, that is why I got myself a camera phone with this option.
Anybody have this problem or am I just looking in the wrong place to switch it on / off? It used to be in the camera settings menu,now I have only: image quality - show captured image - default image name - capture tone - memory in use - restore camera settings.
Camera has been working fine before Anna update pack 1/2. Now it doesn't geotag all photos automatically. Some photos are geotagged and some are missing information. Very annoying! If I put Maps application on at the same time, camera geotags photos fine, but not without Nokia Maps. Not very handy open two applications. On camera interface geotag icon can show missing location info, but it still geotags photos.

If I then change pages I have to clear data and reload again.I contacted my provider and they exchanged it for me but the new phone has exactly the same problem.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI synced my N8 with windows media player after the anna update but couldn't see any pictures in the photo app. Pictures are already on the device inside "pictures" (not "images") folder in E: drive. After playing a bit, i figured out that photos app only read the pictures inside "images" folder of E: drive. Is there any possible way to make photo app read files in the "pictures" folder or make Windows Media Player sync with the "images" folder instead of "pictures" folder.

Other camera apps such as Google Photo and Procapture, however, would.
Part of the ROM package includes the stock Samsung apps that can be selectively installed back. I'm assuming the location functionality is related to one of these stock apps. How to resolve this?
I am an user of Nokia lumia 800 and i am unable to save the pictures that i recieve on MMS to Phone. When i hold the touch for 2 seconds on the MMS picture it just shows delete and forward. Is there any other way to save the pictures that we recieve in MMS?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had pictures on my motorola phone and transferred them by blue tooth to my nokia 5230, as i don't have USB cable for the motorola phone to move them to my computer while i do have it for the nokia (my computer has no blue tooth capabilities). And strange the pictures get always put by default in the inbox of my nokia and when i connect the nokia 5230 to my computer through the USB cable, the wizard that opens to move files between the phone and computer, doesn't move or synchronize those pictures, it moves all the files in my inbox except those pictures and when i try to explore the files content of the nokia phone on my computer by exploring my mobile phone drive which shows 2 drives, one for the phone memory card and one for the phone SIM card, I can see all files on my phone SIM or memory card except those pictures. I can never email or text those pictures direct from the phone as the phone doesn't at all provide any option to do that and doesn't allow to move the pictures to any other folder on my phone except to My Folders which acts the same like inbox of not allowing any option to move them out of there through USB or email or text. The only way to do it is to move them one by one to my gallery which allows all files stored in it to get synchronized with my computer, the only problem with this method is I have 1000 pictures and moving them individually would take days. Any help how to move those pictures to my computer in one shot?
View 4 Replies View Relatedi have a 4 month old n8 currently has issues with all features related to logging on to ovi. Thats the social app, the automatic update of email also stopped working as well as ovi sync. When i try log on it takes a while then says connection failed. Try again later. The next screen asks for my password again which i actually Havent changed as i can still log on to the ovi website. The ovi store was previously working well but i thought it could be the problem so i uninstalled it to no avail. I tried a soft reset which deleted the mailboxes but didnt solve a thing. Now i Cant set up any mail boxes. It takes ages on the preparing for set up screen without moving forward. Ovi sync still not working, neither is social and now i Cant download ovi store. Seems like the link is failing. Everything else is working fine. Internet included. I'm avoiding a hard reset because I'm miles away from a computer for a back up.

I then get prompted for email and password, but i don't get anny options for Gmail, Yahoo etc, and the only option is "mail for exchange" and that doesn't work with the gmail account.
Could it be that my email account has a "." in it... im running out of options here... have done a factory reset and everything.
I wish on both devices (mobile and headset) but I can search my headset on phone. Is it a bug of belle update or there is another way for me to connect both devices?
