My Xperia.z2 cant geotag when offline, it needs an AGPS to detect the location of the one im geotagging which requires a working internet connection. But I need to do this offline, is there any solution?
View 2 RepliesI really want this phone but I have a few questions:Can the AGPS function as a normal GPS without the "A" part? That is without using the network provider's signal. I currently own a Nokia E63 and I like the Internet Radio app and use it a lot. Does the X6 also come with it?I also like to browse the internet with my E63 when I'm out and about. The problem with it is the screen is very small. I like the iPhone screen when browsing the net. Is the X6 browsing functionality better than the E63, and does it rival iPhone in this regard?I've read reviews taht the phone always hangs. Is this true, and which apps make it hang?Is this phone 3G or 3.5G.I want to order in the next few hours as I'm so excited so please convince me.

View 2 Replies View RelatedFor some reason after upgrading to Belle I have lost the option to switch geo-tagging on in the camera settings. It is just not there where it used to be. I need this for work, that is why I got myself a camera phone with this option.
Anybody have this problem or am I just looking in the wrong place to switch it on / off? It used to be in the camera settings menu,now I have only: image quality - show captured image - default image name - capture tone - memory in use - restore camera settings.
Camera has been working fine before Anna update pack 1/2. Now it doesn't geotag all photos automatically. Some photos are geotagged and some are missing information. Very annoying! If I put Maps application on at the same time, camera geotags photos fine, but not without Nokia Maps. Not very handy open two applications. On camera interface geotag icon can show missing location info, but it still geotags photos.

Other camera apps such as Google Photo and Procapture, however, would.
Part of the ROM package includes the stock Samsung apps that can be selectively installed back. I'm assuming the location functionality is related to one of these stock apps. How to resolve this?
The Sony ericsson website mentions the term '3D Games'. Is it really 3D without glasses, or is this 3D something other than 3-Dimensional.The reason that I doubt this is that, if it really was that good and true? My second question is that is there any way to use radio on the phone; I mean some type of application, without use internet? Thirdly, I have heard that the phone although claims to be business oriented, lacks basic stuff like Notepad and/or Memo, how true is that? How good is the internet browsing experience?

The router is working for sure because the wifi is working for my laptop and ipod touch, so pretty sure it's not the router's problem. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have recently updated my Z3 (D6603) to Android 5.1.1 by OTA update. After the update I appear to have a weird encryption issue. My phone was encrypted before I updated.
I have a device policy that needs my phone to be encrypted. I am getting en error via the status bar saying 'Device encryption required'. When I click this it takes me to the device policy app where I am unable to do anything re encryption.
So I had a look in the security settings and it shows my phone as encrypted. So I thought it would be best to decrypt the phone and then re-encrypt it. However when I click the 'Encrypt phone' setting nothing happens, the menu just stays where it is.
I have restarted my phone and cleared the cache just in case, but the problems persists.
I bought my Sony Experia Neo V a couple of weeks back. I upgraded to ICS immediately after I bought it. I even installed the new ICS update that I received as a prompt on my phone today morning. I use a Samsung bluetooth headset to take conference calls when I drive. My phone is not able to detect the bluetooth headset. Not sure of the reason for the same. But I am able to pair my phone with my laptop. It even paired with a Samsung Galaxy Fit phone. Both occasions, it took a very long time to detect the devices though. In the case of the bluetooth headset, the phone does not detect the device inspite of keeping it close to each other for more than 5-10 mins.

My laptop is using Window 7 and I have updated the phone to 17.1.1.A0.402 version. Beside that I also updated the Sony PC Companion, yet nothing can I do to sync or back up to my laptop even y using wifi or usb cable (original from the box). My laptop also can't detect the Z2 device too.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI normally use gps with data traffic off, and in open sky. Have two navigation apps installed: google maps and CoPilot Live Premium. Have used both of them without any issues before (on Xperia ray), position used to be determined in a matter of few tens of seconds from first start. If I try to use any navigation app now, it simply cannot detect the position. Remarkably, it does see the gps signal, but no matter how long I wait, position remains to be undetermined. To investigate the issue further, I have installed the GPS test app. It shows clearly from 7 to 12 sattelites in use, but position remains to be undetermined! I should add that with GPS test it becomes clear that the number of visible (and usable) sattelites time after time drops down to 1 or 2 without any reason, just for a second or so, and then again jumps to 7-12... I saw some claims in the internet, that this problem has to do with AGPS, but I am not expert in this and so far I haven't found any good solution to the problem.
