Nov 6, 2015I recently got a gold Z5 and have enjoyed it greatly. Over the past week or so, however, I've noticed that when I press the power button to unlock the device, sometimes the fingerprint sensor misses and attempts to read again. 5 times. Even without my finger on it.
I totally get that it's not a perfect system and false readings happen. But the sensor sometimes reads "automatically" after failing to scan my finger and then continues to try until it locks itself out, requiring me to enter my backup password.
Doesn't seem to be any physical problems with the hardware's exterior, and I can set up and unlock using the sensor fine. Sometimes it just gets a little excited.

Apr 12, 2015I've had this problem since Lolipop upgrade, my wife is now getting this problem after moving from Z1 compact (lolipop) to Z3 compact too, also seen this issue on XDA forums so it's a definite Z3 issue.
If I click a link in an app (Twitter, Google Search etc) then a Chrome tab opens but nothing loads in it, clicking the address and pressing return does nothing, copying the address and pasting in to a new tab or incognito window works OK. killing the app in the mutitask window doesn't work, restarting the phone allows it to work for a couple of days before it starts doing this again.
A solution is needed and rebooting the phone is not a solution, it's a temporary fix. I have a few Gb free on the phone, all other apps working fine. I'm on my 3rd Z3 in a few months, it's done it on all of them, resetting the phone to factory settings does nothing after a few days.

I loaded my memory card with some mp3 files and some videos. when I am opening the memory card through office suite its showing folders but when I open folders, Its saying no supporting files found. Cant Xperia ray handle Mp3s and Videos? But If I open music player it is showing the mp3s but not videos.

Sep 11, 2010I've just upgraded to an X10 mini pro. I have set a song as the SMS ringtone, but the phone continues to play the song to the end, long after I have read the text. This is really annoying when you are receiving a steady stream of texts. All my previous phones have stopped the ringtone when opening the text message. Is this a Sony Ericsson feature, or an Android feature? More importantly, is there a phone setting that will stop the ringtone upon pressing a key/screen like a conventional phone?

Oct 21, 2015After updating to Lollipop (months ago I think..), whenever she gets text message phone shows notification , but STOCK sms app doesnt show message AT ALL.
With Google Hangouts she can open the message ONCE, when she clicks back and opens contact/message list again its GONE.
I have tried clear messaging cache but no lock. Yesterday installed newest 5.1.1 with no dice. I have same phone (Z3 D6603) with NO problems myself.
This is no way acceptable!
