Xperia Z3 :: Spotify Offline List Will Not Be Moved To SD Card
Feb 6, 2015
After the latest upgrade, 5.1.1, I had to reinstall due to problems with the volum buttom. No problem with the buttom any more, but now Spotify and a few other apps wont save offline lists to SD card. That was never a problem earlier. I have tried to delete cache and log out which was adviced on another thread, but no luck.
whee the moved apps gets stored in sd card. since i browse my sd card using pc & using "file expert" app . i moved some of my apps from phn to sd card . i cnt see the moved apps on sd card.
I took some videos last night when I went to a concert. My internal memory was getting full so it recommended moving them to the SD card which I did. Now I can't view the files and it won't play in any different video applications that I have downloaded. I reformatted the sd card after backing it up and still nothing! Why is this when I can see the files on my phone. They are there but won't play. I haven't done anything wrong! I literally am frustrated and want my videos back.
I changed the settings at Messaging > Options > Settings > Other > Memory In Use. It was Phone memory so I changed to memory card. It moved all SMS to memory card. Then I received an SMS. When I clicked the SMS icon to open it, an error appeared on screen "cannot access messages on memory card. Changing memory to Phone memory" and then I could open the message. But all the old messages were not in the inbox. Only the new sms was present.I went to the settings again and changed to memory card. Now I can access the old sms but not the new sms stored in phone memory. How do I set options so that all SMS are stored in memory card by default?
I had a sandisk SD card. Moved picture folders from device to SD card and LOST a ton of them. Read online I needed an official Samsung SD card so I bought one. Put it in yesterday and transferred pics over - so far so good.
Moved apps over to SD card using recommendations I read online, by going into device manager and now the apps are greyed out. They eventually work when you click them but their main icon isn't showing. Widgets I once had on home screens are also gone for those apps moved to SD card.
My Samsung Galaxy S5 memory was getting full so I moved 7.6 GB worth of photos onto my SD card (a 64GB micro SD card). It all went through fine and I could see that the photos had been moved to the SD card.
I went back to my the "Images" icon under the "My Files" icon and deleted them off what I thought was my internal phone's memory.
On reopening the SD card contents I have lost ALL the photos I moved plus other photos I'd previously moved to my SD card. How do I get these back???
I've just installed the app 2 SD which moves your moveable apps to SD card. When I moved them to SD, went back to external SD and they don't appear to be there?
I've moved them manually by manage applications? Move to SD and I still can't see them?
Also I've created a folder on my SD card called "Camera" for my pics and videos. Set storage for camera to be on memory card. When I take a pic it saves pics and vids under DCIM in the external SD card. Is there no way to save pictures OTHER THAN DCIM? Even rename it won't work?
I've been downloading music with uTorrent for a while now with no issues. I download the music and it defaults to my download folder on the device. I then manually move it to the SD card and everything is great. Now suddenly when I move it to the SD card, it won't show up in the music app. If I leave it on the device it is fine but once I move it to my music folder on the SD card, it won't show up.
I am using the stock music app but I checked the Google play music app and it doesn't show up there either. The only way I can get it to show up is to plug into my computer, copy the folder to it and then put it in my iTunes. Then I have to copy it from iTunes folder back to the SD card and it shows up. I've also tried unmounting, removing and remounting the SD card and that worked as well. Both of those solutions are super irritating, especially since it has been working great for ages and now is just not working all of a sudden.
I just moved some games from phone memory to memory card on nokia x3-00. I open them, then when I close, they vanished completely, only the folder left there. How is possible?
I recently switched from iPhone to Xperia z5 compact, so I don't know if this is an issue which already affected previous models.
Basically, I usually listen to music using bluetooth headphones. However, this is not always possible and I sometimes need to use devices with a cable.
Now, I've been mainly using apps like Spotify and Deezer to listen to my music and whenever I am on one of these with cable headphones or if I plug a cable to connect my phone to my car speakers, annoying things happen. In fact, in these situations, I can only play one song, after which the music stops and I have unlock the phone, access the app and start the new one from the app itself (it doesn't work from the lock screen or the notification centre). This problem is affecting only third parties apps apparently, or Deezer and Spotify. In fact, if I use the Sony Music app, cable headphones work fine.
I recently updated my Spotify, once I start skipping songs on Spotify, no music comes out through the speakers or my earphones and does the same with other apps..
When my phone is switched on but hasn't been used for a few hours when I go to use it I find that it has gone into the "Offline" mode from then on the only way that I can clear this and use my phone again is by switching it off and back on which then gives me the option to come out of the Offline mode, I also sometimes get the insert the SIM card message having switched off and back on again.
Sometimes when using Spotify, I have no sound and the volume buttons on the side of my Z5 compact do not activate the mediavolume. Instead they activate the ringtone volume. If I then open the volume menu and raise the media volume the actual volume still doesn't go up. I only have this problem when using Spotify. If I open another app like youtube for instance the volume works properly. If I restart my phone the volume problem in Spotify disappears.
First off I just wanna say THANK YOU NOKIA for releasing this update for FREE.Im taking of my hat for you :-) Very much appreciated!I just have one question, is it possible to use the MAP program in offline mode (not connected to internet?)Before I did the update I was able to use the GPS without any internet connection, atm I need to be online to use the GPS and MAPs. I been reading back and forth for 2½ hours now searching for the MAP download to put on my memory card. But I cant find any link etc that get me to download the entire Swedish map (so I can use the GPS without internet connection) Or isnt that possible with this free service anymore ? (cause connecting to internet everyday and always when using the GPS can and will be very expensive The Phone is : Nokia 5800 XpressMusic The Phone Version is : V31.0.101 (Date: 19-9-2009) -updated yesterday OviMAPS (in phone) : V3.03 So could someone answer if its possible to download an map to the memorycard (as before) and use it offline?
I accidentally moved all my contacts into my trash - how do I open trash and retrieve them? They all show up when I dial on phone, so still there - just need to open trash to recover!?!?
i have somehow moved all my timescape content from the home page to the page on the far left. i have no idea how i have done this and how to get it back to the home page.
I have an Xperia Z5 compact. This was playing my music apps find for the first 3 days. Then it started to glitch, by stopping my music playback if I turned the phone 90 degrees one way or another as well as playing back through the phone speakers when the headphone is plugged into the jack. Â Â I've tried trouble shooting mentioned on other parts of this forum. I didn't have the google maps "shake to send feedback" feature on, and this behavior is happening on multiple music apps (Podcast Addict, Google Music, Sony Music, Spotify, etc). Â So this seems to be a problem native to the phone, not a third party application.
I've just bought a nokia n8 but I can't put in it my sim card or my father's. It won't read it and will only display a message that reads "Offline" (hors connexion in french). I can't access my contacts. I've always had nokia phones so I don't understand why this one suddenly won't work.
i used wisepilot online and it works great..nut i want it to use in places where there is no internet connection. i think there is a an option in wisepilot for downloading maps to sd card and use it offline. but i dont know how to do it.
In the google map app, I saved a region (offline), however I noticed that the avenue names, driving diretions in street are not available. Is that correct?
My Xperia.z2 cant geotag when offline, it needs an AGPS to detect the location of the one im geotagging which requires a working internet connection. But I need to do this offline, is there any solution?
