View 4 RepliesWhen I'm connected via Bluetooth and skip a song with the steering wheel controls it wakes the screen which causes increased battery drain. On Pandora the screen stays off to conserve battery. To me it doesn't make sense for the screen to come on when switching songs. As stated it increases battery consumption and you shouldn't be looking at your phone when driving anyway. I don't know if the same can be said with Bluetooth headphones as I don't have any to test with. People switch songs until they find one they like. If they like a song and don't know the artist then they could wake the screen to see the information at that point. To me this is a HUGE negative as phone manufacturers are making phones thinner and thinner thus reducing battery size. Not to mention upon switching songs it increases the chance of accidentally skipping another song since the controls come on the wake screen. I've tested this on wired headphones with controls and the screen doesn't wake so it only seems to be a Bluetooth issue.
View 1 Replies View Relatedits only been recently that my iphone has started skipping songs, it changes every time i sync it and it keeps happening. I have just updates to IOS 8.1.2 and that hasn't.

I was running outside (GPS on) and many of my songs would skip. I found that if I pressed Music button (pauses the song) it would often correct it for a while. Sonetimes pressing it once would fix it!
View 14 Replies View RelatedI have issues with songs skipping rapidly for no reason, using both the google play music app or the play app.
It also occasionally comes on by itself for no reason and starts playing songs.
I'm trying to listen to music with Spotify on my Droid Bionic but the Spotify player randomly pauses frequently in the middle of songs. This actually happens when I'm using the stock music player as well, not only Spotify.
View 4 Replies View Relatedthe songs I recently bought on itunes I somehow can't play on my phone's iPod.When I click for a certain song to play, it would just automatically switch to another random song. This happens with the songs I recently bought. They're not explicit songs or anything, I have no parental blocks on my music or anything. It just altogether skips those songs when I click on them. And I bought them legally! So I don't know what's happening, I'm just not able to play my music?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a very annoying problem with my Nokia 5800 XM and the Spotify-app. I updated the app to v. 0.4.3.9 yesterday and it required that I uninstalled the old version first, i.e deleting all my cached tracks. Now today when I'm going to resync (on WLAN, since it's about 500 tracks) it just won't connect. I choose the correct WLAN from the list, but the app continues being blue (not green) and then the list pops up again. I read another discussion about almost the same thing a moment ago, so I tried to go to the menu and check the WLAN connection from its menu. So I did that, and it says my WLAN has full signal strength (I'm right next to the router) but then it loses the connection and asks me again which network I want to use. I have not had any issues with WLAN in any other app, and I have synced tracks with Spotify on my WLAN before, so I have no idea where the problem lies. Maybe something with the update and my WLAN? I don't know...
About the attachments: The list that shows several times and then the WLAN list where I'm connected to my network and it has full strength. "Marsvinsfarmen" is my network.
I updated the latest Belle update (SW: 111.040.1511) on my N8 and after that Spotify crashes very often. I never had this problem before the update.I checked from Nokia store that I have the latest version of Spotify.
View 1 Replies View RelatedNoticed battery skipping percents after the Android 4.3 update?
When my battery is fully charged it goes from 100% to 98% just from texting, but then it will go down percent by percent after 98. Still holds a charge as it did before the update, but I'm stumped as to why it skips 99%?
I want to uninstall Spotify from my Xperia 10. It won't let me.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI use my D3 to listen to music. I have the mp3s stored on a memory card in my phone. I have music version v4.1.513. Before the update the music played fine. After the update the music will skip/click when ever my cell or data signal changes. I work in a very low / no cell signal lab so the phone is continuously losing signal and getting it back. This cause the music to skip/click every time. Not related to the update my phone still does not like to play music over bluetooth and do navigation at the same time. I have the phone linked to my car radio for navigation and I listen to music from the phone. It will reboot after about 15 minutes of use.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently switched from iPhone to Xperia z5 compact, so I don't know if this is an issue which already affected previous models.
Basically, I usually listen to music using bluetooth headphones. However, this is not always possible and I sometimes need to use devices with a cable.
Now, I've been mainly using apps like Spotify and Deezer to listen to my music and whenever I am on one of these with cable headphones or if I plug a cable to connect my phone to my car speakers, annoying things happen. In fact, in these situations, I can only play one song, after which the music stops and I have unlock the phone, access the app and start the new one from the app itself (it doesn't work from the lock screen or the notification centre). This problem is affecting only third parties apps apparently, or Deezer and Spotify. In fact, if I use the Sony Music app, cable headphones work fine.
Is there anyway to set a time for the music to stop playing? I often go asleep with music on and then i see 1% of battery.
View 7 Replies View RelatedAfter the latest upgrade, 5.1.1, I had to reinstall due to problems with the volum buttom. No problem with the buttom any more, but now Spotify and a few other apps wont save offline lists to SD card. That was never a problem earlier. I have tried to delete cache and log out which was adviced on another thread, but no luck.
View 10 Replies View RelatedSometimes when using Spotify, I have no sound and the volume buttons on the side of my Z5 compact do not activate the mediavolume. Instead they activate the ringtone volume. If I then open the volume menu and raise the media volume the actual volume still doesn't go up. I only have this problem when using Spotify. If I open another app like youtube for instance the volume works properly. If I restart my phone the volume problem in Spotify disappears.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen you play music using bluetooth there is a lag or skipping in music. Like 1 sec. skipping in every 1-3 minutes or sometimes 30secs - up. I think the problem is the android lollipop. I used to connect my z5 in jbl xtreme. my huawei telpad running android kitkat has no problem in playing music using bluetooth. But my z5 and my wife's asus selfie running android lollilop there is a lag or skipping problem.

I forget what happens when we update to new firmware on an existing phone: Does it delete the music/video content from the iPhone? Or is there a way to preserve this content when I load the new iOS4 later today on my 3GS? I know you can preserve photos, text message threads, apps, etc. My iPhone 3GS is backed up.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo i have been having issues with the volume on spotify and maps. For example, if i have spotify playing in my car as well as google maps...i will hear the music perfectly but maps volume will be very low which i have raised the volume but it continues to return to low volume automatically. Yesterday i set directions in google maps but kept spotify off this time and i was able to hear the directions perfectly and the volume would remain at high level. This issue only occurs when both spotify and google maps are being used at the same time.

I tried to disable all the EQ app on the phone without results.
Songs on my iphone have a cloud image with arrow pointing down, since my update. I can no longer play them? Or my audio books?

Is the Sony Ericsson Vivaz compatible with Spotify?
View 9 Replies View RelatedEvery day I seem to be getting the Spotify icon saved as an image (low res) in my Gallery. I delete it, and then it comes back the next day. I had a quick online search and I see that I am not alone. My phone is running standard launcher so I haven't changed anything on the phone, apart from usual wallpapers and personalisations.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've had my ATT S6 64GB since the release day, and my biggest peeve is that the bluetooth audio seems to incessantly stutter. I've narrowed the issue down: - Happened independently of proximity between phone and speaker - Not a streaming bandwidth issue, as it happened regardless of streaming a song or playing a song that was stored locally on the phone. Using (wired) headphones, this is never an issue. - An issue on several speaker models (Bluetooth speaker names are: Bose Mini SoundLink, DNX6190HD, SC-HTB580, Fugoo Speaker), and other phones had no issues streaming to these devices.
I've been using my Spotify app. I'm not sure if this is part of the issue. It may be some sort of lag in the app processing the sound in conjunction with the bluetooth module? Not sure...
I am having a volume fluctuating issue when I am listening music using Spotify service. Volume goes up and down all the time.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if it is possible to install the android Spotify app on the MotoActv? Spotify lets you stream unlimited music for free (and be able to download the music for a small price a month). I don't have MP3-files on my computer, but with Spotify on my MotoActv, I could leave my mobile at home.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI want to be able to take 15 seconds out of some of my fave songs and insert it into a 15 second instagram video. How?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI noticed that the Spotify notifications disappear every once and awhile while music is playing. I'm wondering if this is something that was introduced into 6.0 or what. I can open spotify check back an hour later and it's still playing but I have to switch back to the app and the notification comes back.
This is pretty frustrating when trying to stop the music from running. It can also happen after 20 minutes it seems..Another issue is that I receive a phone call but the music starts playing in earpiece or bluetooth while the phone is occurring. Combine this with issue 1 and you have a difficult situation here...
I deleted songs in my iphone on the music app but when I sync with the computer the songs disappear. How can I delete songs on my phone but keep them in iTunes?

Whenever I try to sync my playlists onto my MotoACTV from Itunes only half of the songs make it. I received a message stating that "662 files are protected" so they did copy over. How do I unprotect those songs? I have looked in Itunes and cannot find out how.
