View 5 RepliesUsing Spofity i have noticed a very low volume level compared to the stock samsung music player app.
I tried to disable all the EQ app on the phone without results.
Just got my phone today and still playing around with it. One thing that surprise me in a not very pleasant way was how loud the volume is when you are listening to music using the earphone.
Even at the lowest volume it is still too loud for me to comfortably listen to. I tried listening for 15 minutes and stopped, my ears were ringing for a bit after that.
I tried using "Music Volume EQ" as recommended by someone having the same problem but it didnt do anything to me. The EQ seems to have no effect whatsoever.
"The first is that the headphone jack seems a bit underpowered and doesn't produce anywhere near the volume level my S3 had with the same earbuds and software (PowerAmp)"
I am finding the same issue, however, not using PowerAmp - just using Google Music. It just doesn't get as loud as my S5 did. Is there a setting that I am missing?!
Having issues with listening to music at or above 75% volume? My phone vibrates really bad and is distorted. I don't have any type of equalizer app installed either, not sure if theres somewhere in the stock settings to change the preset maybe? This is through Rocket Player, Pandora or youtube.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Z5 compact while receiving a call has very loud ringtone volume only for about 1 second, than it drops by around 60%... The same issue occurs while listening to music on speakers, it is loud for 1 second than volume drops... It is not caused by any setting I think.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI was listening to the giantbombcast using the pocketcasts app, and I about 15 minutes in the volume automatically goes down. I turn it back up, and it goes down again, automatically... right away. As soon as I push the volume bar to the right, it swings back to the left. Then, "Ok Google" pops up. It says "say Ok Google" or tap mic". The volume then goes up, then down, then up, then down uncontrollably. Then it stops, and I'm just looking at the Ok Google screen. When I press back to go to the pocketcasts, all of this happens again after 30 seconds. I don't know what is going on here.
View 3 Replies View RelatedHad this same problem on the S4. Whenever I open the Google Music app, for example, and then turn up the volume using the volume rocker, that annoying warning that says "Listening at high volume can cause hearing damage..." or whatever pops up, and you have to hit OK to dismiss it. On the S5 that warning even seems to pop up more often. I never figured out how to disable it on my S4, which was running an older version of Android, nor do I know how to disable it on my S5 running Kit Kat 4.2.2.
View 19 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, and this happened on my S4 as well, when I'm listening to music through headphones or an aux cable, it cuts off for a second. Now, this doesn't happen with other phones I've played with (iP6, LGG4), so why it happens with Samsung's phones?
View 3 Replies View Relatedhow does the battery last with music listening? i read that there's not much screen time, battery-wise

View 5 Replies View RelatedSo i have been having issues with the volume on spotify and maps. For example, if i have spotify playing in my car as well as google maps...i will hear the music perfectly but maps volume will be very low which i have raised the volume but it continues to return to low volume automatically. Yesterday i set directions in google maps but kept spotify off this time and i was able to hear the directions perfectly and the volume would remain at high level. This issue only occurs when both spotify and google maps are being used at the same time.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI just got my samsung galaxy S II a few days ago and i'm immediately disappointed by the sound. When using headphones, there seems a small amount of distortion or noise just before each track is played and in between tracks. (Possibly while playing tracks as well). Also, when i stop or pause the music, and then scroll through lists or even just touching the screen at all, there seems to be some kind of audible static noise heard through the headphones. This noise only seems to last for about 5 seconds after i have paused a song, and after that it then seems to be silent again with no noise when i touch the screen.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSometimes when using Spotify, I have no sound and the volume buttons on the side of my Z5 compact do not activate the mediavolume. Instead they activate the ringtone volume. If I then open the volume menu and raise the media volume the actual volume still doesn't go up. I only have this problem when using Spotify. If I open another app like youtube for instance the volume works properly. If I restart my phone the volume problem in Spotify disappears.

Is there anyway to set a time for the music to stop playing? I often go asleep with music on and then i see 1% of battery.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI just got my G4 this week and I love almost everything about it! Anyway, I listen to spotify on my cars Bluetooth, but I learned tonight that if I get a call ( on call for work so I can't just ignore) I can answer, but the music just keeps playing and I can't hear the person on the other end. I must have my music and I don't like the installed music systems (canceled my service recently) .
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe volume while playing music is always changing, like one step up or down every 5 minutes give or take.
- I disabled all the sound and equalizer options from the settings to test if that was the cause but it didn't work.
- Rebooting the phone also didn't work.
- I use Spotify, didn't test any other app yet but I don't have this problem on my Nexus 5 using the same Spotify version.
- There is no way the volume keys were pressed accidentally because even when the phone just lies there, flat on the table, this happens.
- I am on the latest OTA.
I have the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and every time it sync to my 2014 Honda Accord the volume sync and plays music at extremely low volume even on max. Compared to almost any other phone like my iphone 4s that sync the audio for my music no problem. I tried turning the media on and off and deleting the device completely off the bluetooth list and re-adding which still does not work. I am using mobilego and it sucks as it won’t let you sort the order of your music.

View 9 Replies View RelatedEvery day I seem to be getting the Spotify icon saved as an image (low res) in my Gallery. I delete it, and then it comes back the next day. I had a quick online search and I see that I am not alone. My phone is running standard launcher so I haven't changed anything on the phone, apart from usual wallpapers and personalisations.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've had my ATT S6 64GB since the release day, and my biggest peeve is that the bluetooth audio seems to incessantly stutter. I've narrowed the issue down: - Happened independently of proximity between phone and speaker - Not a streaming bandwidth issue, as it happened regardless of streaming a song or playing a song that was stored locally on the phone. Using (wired) headphones, this is never an issue. - An issue on several speaker models (Bluetooth speaker names are: Bose Mini SoundLink, DNX6190HD, SC-HTB580, Fugoo Speaker), and other phones had no issues streaming to these devices.
I've been using my Spotify app. I'm not sure if this is part of the issue. It may be some sort of lag in the app processing the sound in conjunction with the bluetooth module? Not sure...
Even when my ear phones are plugged in correctly other people can here the music coming from the phone speaker.

I have a Blackberry Torch 9810. About a week or so ago, I updated my phone (cause a really insistant notification popped up and updating the **bleep** thing seemed to be the only way to get it to leave me alone). If I can read the version information correctly, I updated it's software to 7.1 Bundle 1997 (v 7.1.0.694, Platform 5.1.0.507). For a little while, all was well. Then, while listening to music while out and about town, my song came to an end and nothing came up after it. After several seconds of silence, I pulled out my phone and tried to get it to play the next song (I usually just put it on shuffle, and there's no way for me to go through the whole rotation). But the entire phone was off. Pushing the power button would not get it to come back on. I flipped open the back case, pulled out the battery, checked the connections, and popped it back in. A few seconds later the phone turned on and proceeded to go through the laboriously slow loading screen. When I navigated back to the music section of the media section, there was a green bar at the bottom of the screen and the number of songs was ticking up from zero, as if I had just synced it and put in new music.Since then, this has happened several times. Some of the time the phone has been in my pocket, but not always. It only happens at the end of a song. The phone will not respond to any button presses until the battery has been removed and then put back.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just switched from iPhone and on that had the capability to see spotify album art and controls in lock screen, can I do that on my s6 edge? Or suggest a lock screen that can. I don't like having notifications on for spotify because I don't need to be told everytime a song gets added to a payload but so far this is the only way to get controls on lockscreen and it's tiny. Was android always like this?
