LG G3 :: Volume So Low While Listening To Phone Through Auxiliary Cable In Car
Nov 3, 2014
When using my aux cable so I can listen to music in my car. I connect the cable to the headphone jack and then the aux input to my car. For some reason volume is so low compared to using my headphones connected to my G3.
Having issues with listening to music at or above 75% volume? My phone vibrates really bad and is distorted. I don't have any type of equalizer app installed either, not sure if theres somewhere in the stock settings to change the preset maybe? This is through Rocket Player, Pandora or youtube.
Just got my phone today and still playing around with it. One thing that surprise me in a not very pleasant way was how loud the volume is when you are listening to music using the earphone.
Even at the lowest volume it is still too loud for me to comfortably listen to. I tried listening for 15 minutes and stopped, my ears were ringing for a bit after that.
I tried using "Music Volume EQ" as recommended by someone having the same problem but it didnt do anything to me. The EQ seems to have no effect whatsoever.
"The first is that the headphone jack seems a bit underpowered and doesn't produce anywhere near the volume level my S3 had with the same earbuds and software (PowerAmp)"
I am finding the same issue, however, not using PowerAmp - just using Google Music. It just doesn't get as loud as my S5 did. Is there a setting that I am missing?!
I was listening to the giantbombcast using the pocketcasts app, and I about 15 minutes in the volume automatically goes down. I turn it back up, and it goes down again, automatically... right away. As soon as I push the volume bar to the right, it swings back to the left. Then, "Ok Google" pops up. It says "say Ok Google" or tap mic". The volume then goes up, then down, then up, then down uncontrollably. Then it stops, and I'm just looking at the Ok Google screen. When I press back to go to the pocketcasts, all of this happens again after 30 seconds. I don't know what is going on here.
Had this same problem on the S4. Whenever I open the Google Music app, for example, and then turn up the volume using the volume rocker, that annoying warning that says "Listening at high volume can cause hearing damage..." or whatever pops up, and you have to hit OK to dismiss it. On the S5 that warning even seems to pop up more often. I never figured out how to disable it on my S4, which was running an older version of Android, nor do I know how to disable it on my S5 running Kit Kat 4.2.2.
My Z5 compact while receiving a call has very loud ringtone volume only for about 1 second, than it drops by around 60%... The same issue occurs while listening to music on speakers, it is loud for 1 second than volume drops... It is not caused by any setting I think.
I just switched over from the 1st Generation iPod Touch to the iPhone 4. I also have iPod/iPhone integration in my car.I noticed with the new iPhone, that the volume on my radio must be turned up much higher than was required with the iPod touch. The problem that this causes is excessive electrical noise from the car, plus a lot more noise from the radio circuitry in the iPhone. On top of that, if I switch over to radio without changing the volume, I get blasted.
I believe if Apple just bumped up the volume a bit for the dock connector, that this issue would be alleviated. To give you an idea... I have a 2006 Mazda3 2.0L. I installed a Neo ProLink PODMAZ-R2V1. With my iPod touch, I usually listened to music on 15/40. With the iPhone, I have to crank it up to about 28/40 to match the iPod Touch.
Increasing the dock volume output will quiet down the electrical interference shared between my car and the iPhone itself as well as keep the volume level between switching to the radio and the iPhone.I know the volume varies from car to car, but the amount of electrical noise heard from the iPhone should be a clear indication that the volume is set too low.Just a little curious if anyone else has noticed this? I know I'm taking quite a big leap from a 1st Gen iPod Touch to a 4th Gen iPhone, but this still shouldn't be an issue.
I have a 2007 Chrysler 300C and I've never used the aux port in my car. How to listen to my music through the radio what do I need to do besides hooking the cable and selecting the aux function? Just select my music through the play music headphone icon? Will it eat up my data plan? I don't think I have the bluetooth through the radio.
My iPhone won't play musi through the speaker but when I use my headphones or axillary cord it still works, it also still plays message tones as well as to grows, very strange. My settings are all fine what should I do??
Am experiencing auto off and on on my BB curve 9360 whenever am listening to music or chatting with the phone. Anyone with useful solution should pls come to my aid, need it done asap.
I use a stream from my home pc for audio which can be picked up easily on internet however when i try it on my mobile (T-Mobile UK) it comes up with an error saying that Access is Denied. (Access control config prevents my request). Is it a phone issue or something I need to do to my router at home?
Lumia just stats listening for voice commands on its own? I can't even put in my pin without it interrupting me after the second digit. It started happening after I hard test the phone. I have 8.1.
That allows you to charge the Razr V3 while using the USB data cable? In other words, such a cable would have to have a 'Y' configuration with two inputs and one output to the phone. The two inputs need to accept the 5-pin male mini USB connector from the charger and the 5-pin male mini USB connector from the data cable
I think it s silly quest..but i dont knw how to use phone as modem using NOKIA pc suit software for internetwork.. i ve installed 7.1version even though pc conneced to my mobile through ups cable type CA-101D. But there s no response in pc.what can i do pls expl clearly now im usg nokia c3-01
Does LG GW620R phone comes with USB data cable or do you need to buy it seperately?I am not able to transfer photos from my cell phone to the computer.
So ive just brought an iphone 3gs and when i charge it, the cable is hard to plug into my phone. Once it has been forced in, and its fully charged when i pull it out it snaps and hald of it is still stuck in my phone. I know its the right sort of cable. Ive asked someone else and they said you need to pinch and push it in and out but there is no where to do that.
I've been looking at buying one because i hate not being able to transfer pictures etc over to the computer easily. But i cannot find where the cable is meant to plug into my phone ? Only the micro sd card is the only place. Or do i need to get a card reader for the micro sd card?
When I go into SW update from Control Panel>Phone it only gives me the option of updating via PC. Typing *#0000# and checking says there is no update available.I don't have a USB cable so is there another option to update through the phone itself?
I bought the iPad (which I am loving btw!) on launch day but was a little upset when the cable was different than the one I had been using for my iPod touch for years. A couple of accessories kind of just went down the toilet. So I did a little searching and couldn't find anything, but do you guys have any idea which cable the new iPhone will use? It would be very convenient for me if it used the iPad cable as that would give me a second one without having to go out and buy it separately.
i have a very good stable internet connection on my PC and want to use that for my phone, how can i connect my phone to internet through pc using usb cable.
i have two power cords for my lg phone. can i take one and convert it into an rs232 serial cable? i see videos on Internet of people making usb chargers and the like from their old usb chargers which made wonder where can i find one. it's for an lg ax-5000, which supports usb and serial modes.i ordered a usb data&charging cable from an ebay seller in mexico but i just can't wait for it to ship.
I just picked up an LG GS170 phone (low-end flip-phone) with T-Mobile. I was able to use a micro-USB cable and Windows device driver I found from LG so my computer would recognize the phone in the device manager. But I can't do anything with it--no mounted "drive" and I haven't been able to find any Software (LG or third-party) that recognizes the phone (upload/download/edit address book; upload ringtones or wallpapers). I could do that with my old Motorola V195 phone. I have found some website that claim to have "apps" for the GS170 phone (wallpapers, small programs -- jar or zip files) but I can't do anything with them since I don't now how to upload them to the phone.Any ideas for "mounting" the phone, or programs that will talk to it at least for things such as backing up the address book?
The point where the USB cable is attached to the pin on phone, the plastic sleeve gets cracked. I have two such charger cables that have gone bad and the inner wire is exposed. I am facing a risk of short circuit. Having approached the service station, they refused to cover it under warranty. I was surprised as they labeled it as 'Physical damage' and not 'poor quality material used to make cable'. The cables I use for other phones and computers have not cracked under similar usage. More than having to pay for a new cable, I am utterly disappointed with the service of Apple, which is acutally a surprise to me. I buy Apple products for their unmatched quality, and unparalled customer care. With this incident, both have faltered in my mind.
I just downloaded and started using Ovi Suite. My Nokia 5230 is running old software so I wanted to update it. My phone is completely working and a SIM card is inserted in it and I can call with it, but when I want to install the update then it says that there is no SIM card. I have tried ejecting the SIM card and inserting it again but it didn't work. Do you know anything that would help? And also somewhy I'm unable to install anything into the phone by USB cable.
I can't connect my Lumia 1020 to my PC. When I cable it in, I see in device manager under "other device" that the phone is listed with a yellow point. I tried to uninstall it and the replug it in but this does not work. I followed the instructions at: support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2749484 but without success. My phone still won't be recognized.
My windows 8 laptop does not see my Nokia 1020 phone using usb. It will charge but can't see files. I don't see a setting for usb connectivity function.
