When I go into SW update from Control Panel>Phone it only gives me the option of updating via PC. Typing *#0000# and checking says there is no update available.I don't have a USB cable so is there another option to update through the phone itself?

Am using Xpressmusic 5130.When i connect it to PC using USB cabe and selecting Data Storage option,it is showing 'Memmory card in use by another application,Please wait'.And i didnt find any appln using memmory card at that time.Bui i could trnsfer mp3's and images using 'printig and media ' option.I'm currently using a 1gb memmory card and its about 800mb now.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter installing the IOS 5.1.1 update on my iphone 4S, it left a picture on my phone screen of a USB cable pointing to the iTunes icon...i connected the phone to my macbook and it said this is a phone " IN RECOVERY' and that i needed to hit restore button for this phone to be able to communicate with iTunes ? it was working perfectly fine before i did this recommended download and installation ?

My phone is completely working and a SIM card is inserted in it and I can call with it, but when I want to install the update then it says that there is no SIM card. I have tried ejecting the SIM card and inserting it again but it didn't work. Do you know anything that would help?And also somewhy I'm unable to install anything into the phone by USB cable.

I have updated the software and it still won't connect, when I plug the lead in to the phone it says "USB connected in PC suite but the PC suite dose not recognise the phone. When I try to connect within the PC suite it still doesn't find the phone.

Then one day i saw an update for nokia music in marketplace, and after the update the option of store and my mix had disappeared from the app... When I check Nokia's website on how to download the free sat nav version of maps my phone won't let me do it. Nokia says I have to go to applications then sw updates. I do not have a software update option via applications. I can check for sw updates via settings - phone - phone mgmt - device updates - options - check for updates. It appears to receive information from t-mobile but does not display anything on the phone. No options to download ovi maps or anything else. Is there a direct download link that i can simply just click and then install the ovi maps 3.03 from my pc suite's application manager.

I have 2 hopefully quick questions here.
1. Can I see what country maps I have downloaded & saved on my N97 anywhere?
2. Whenever I went on the internet with my N95, I had a option how I wished to connect - my netgear router or Mobile web etc.
With N97, It chooses which one I have set on priority, but sometimes I dont want that one. Can I have it so that it asks me everytime I connect like N95?
so im interested into understanding why the nokia video cable for n95 costs around 40€ in my country while you can get a very very cheap one for no more than .hat are the advantages of nokia 1 vs a normal 1? does it scale the image to a higher resolution than the phone 240*320? does it offer anything else at all than basic video/stereo audio output?
Im rly curious since i find the price just ridiculous if its the same!
Updated to 5.1.1 on iPhone 4s and noticed when I plugged the Apple AV composite cable, the phone says it's not an authorized device and won't allow charging.

Once it has been forced in, and its fully charged when i pull it out it snaps and hald of it is still stuck in my phone. I know its the right sort of cable. Ive asked someone else and they said you need to pinch and push it in and out but there is no where to do that.

I bought the iPad (which I am loving btw!) on launch day but was a little upset when the cable was different than the one I had been using for my iPod touch for years. A couple of accessories kind of just went down the toilet. So I did a little searching and couldn't find anything, but do you guys have any idea which cable the new iPhone will use? It would be very convenient for me if it used the iPad cable as that would give me a second one without having to go out and buy it separately.
