The volume while playing music is always changing, like one step up or down every 5 minutes give or take.
- I disabled all the sound and equalizer options from the settings to test if that was the cause but it didn't work.
- Rebooting the phone also didn't work.
- I use Spotify, didn't test any other app yet but I don't have this problem on my Nexus 5 using the same Spotify version.
- There is no way the volume keys were pressed accidentally because even when the phone just lies there, flat on the table, this happens.
- I am on the latest OTA.
Even on 100% volume is kind of low....it is comparable to my N86 on 60-70%. Is there a way to increase the volume?(I use the same in ear headphones on both phones)
I've got my iPhone 6 before 4 days ago. After playing music I found that my iPhone 4 headphones volume is maybe 20% higher when listening music (testing with the same apple earpods). I checked "Volume limit" and "Sound check", but it was the same. I wonder is this a hardware bug or a software bug? I'm sure about that because a friend of mine has iPhone 5s and I know that is louder than the iPhone 4... There's no way iPhone 6 to has lower output volumeÂ
This is my first post on this site, so I hope I have put my request in the right location. My company has supplied myself a Blackberry Bold 9000, and naturally I use it for a lot of non-work stuff!
When listening to music, I'm finding that the volume increases whenever you go to the next track. This is very annoying, as I am forever getting blasted with noise, and having to decrease the volume on the phone.
the media volume (for the Music app) suddenly started dropping to mute continuously. i've had the phone in my hand (not touching any volume controls) and watched the volume level drop repeatedly.. i raise the volume, it drops again. this has happened about 6 times since yesterday, i'm completely baffled by this.what's worse, the volume has also gone all the way up to max, so i'll be listening to music when all of a sudden it's blaring full blast in my ears and i have to rip the ear phones out.
I need this rubbish disabled as i constantly change volume when on SMS screen. I can see how this would be useful for old people that cant read small text or are constantly fiddling with the text size, but its useless.
The volume button adjusts the ringtone volume. When it is pushed all the way down, it switches to vibrate. If I accidentally push it once more, it switches to mute. I want the phone to always vibrate, regardless of whether the ringer is on or not. I don't want the volume button to adjust vibration.
I have an s6 edge and I can't figure out how to stop the messages app from changing font sizes when I use the volume buttons. I checked previous responses to this question but there is no option in the message's settings that allow me to un-check a box for this.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. The battery life is a bit of a letdown, but I've gotten the hang of USM, so there aren't any issues there while in USM, am I still able to activate the music player via my headset? I do play music quite frequently while I'm travelling, so I'd like to know if that's still possible while in USM.
If I am listening to music and send a text it will stop the music for a second or so, then start playback up through the speakers then switch back to the headphones.
Now if I am having a conversation with someone via text this is quite irritating as sat on the bus and every so often my phone just plays music quite loud for a second before going silent.
I use poweramp and have tried the audio focus options there but I never had this issue on my older s4 with poweramp also. I am having to resort to just not listening to music at all.
I'm thinking of moving from apple to android to have borrowed my friends S5 to see if i like it. So far its pretty good but i'm struggling with my music. I have a 60gb iTunes library but usually i only have around 20gb (2600 songs) on my iphone. I've tried to get this on to a SD card in the S5 but i keep having problems. Here's what I've tried:
1) sync iTunes using Syncr. - This put most of the music on the phone but android wasn't showing it all. ES file explorer only showed 400 songs, CloudPlayer only showed 776 and Poweramp showed most of them but they had unknown artist and unknown album. Because of the Unknown Artist and Album issue i have gone into iTunes and converted the ID3 tags.
2) sync iTunes using Doubletwist airsync - This seems to have put all of the music on the SD Card however ES File Explorer is only showing 1506 songs, Cloudplayer showins 397 and is trying to import 1005 more, Poweramp is showing 2423 songs but still have unknown artist and unknown album, also some songs will not play, there is no error message displayed.
I connect my phone to my car's Bluetooth system during my drive to work in the morning in case I get a call. I usually listen to a podcast on my iPod, then switch to a CD if the podcast episode ends before I get to work. To do so, I flip past my Bluetooth audio setting on my radio. I've already disabled the Bluetooth connection for media in my phone, but all that's done is stop music from playing through the speakers of my car. My phone still begins to auto-play music, either music that's stored in my phone or launching Spotify and starting to play what I last listened to on there. I really don't like having to go onto my phone and close the app while I'm driving.
The phone vibrates when audio is playing even through bluetooth. It's moving around my desk while Pandora is playing. How do I turn this vibration off? I already took off the Haptic feedback and all the feedback for that matter.
My S5 will simply stop playing mp3's whether stored on the sd card or internally. I have tried limiting the number of background apps, tried three different player, and installed an app that is supposed to keep music playing. None of these things have worked. It will randomly shut down at any time on any track and sometimes restart minutes latter. Random stops when playing music?
Is there any way of stopping audible notifications when playing music on the S2? I find the pause in the music and beep really annoying, but can't find a way of switching it off.
So I'm new to the Samsung Galaxy S5 and I have a few artists that I put on my phone using my laptop and a few artists in my library that either don't have an artist picture, or they have an album art as the picture. Is there any way to just add or edit an artist picture?
My 2014 Honda CRV EX automatically starts the music app on my Samsung Galaxy s5 (Music Player) every time I start the car and every time I make or receive a phone call. Is there a way to disable this function but still have a Bluetooth connection for phone calls?
Whenever I play music through my phone, with or without headphones, there is a sporadic noise that sounds similar to a record skipping, but more distorted. It is not the two tone beep others have posted about, nor is it the usual problem with headphones. The sound occurs in multiple audio apps. The default music player worked fine up until about a week ago (maybe two?), then the noise started. At first, a secondary app worked fine, but today that started making the noise as well. Force quitting the default app worked for a while, stopping the noise when I started the app back up, but now it goes back to the noise almost immediately. What this noise is or how to stop it permanently?
My iPhone 4S sometimes stops playing music by itself while I am playing music. This occurs while my phone is on standby/locked mode; that is I am not using any apps.
I'm using the stock MUSIC App/Widget ... I have the phone connected via Bluetooth to a portable speaker. It will play for a while (like 20-30 mins) and suddenly just stop playing. I check the APP on the phone & I press the PLAY button and in continues just fine - almost like STOP was pressed. I don't have any settings for turning it off after a certain time. This seems to happen intermittently on either of the Bluetooth accessories I pair with the phone. (Headphones or Speaker).
Since the lollipop update I can't turn off the "new sms message" on my radio while playing music through bluetooth. Before the update I could just turn my phone on vibrate or mute and the alerts wouldn't interrupt my music. I'll be singing along to a song when suddenly the music stops, an alert tone comes on and the "new sms message" pops up on my radio display. It's bad enough that half of my apps stop working randomly for no reason since the update.
I have the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and every time it sync to my 2014 Honda Accord the volume sync and plays music at extremely low volume even on max. Compared to almost any other phone like my iphone 4s that sync the audio for my music no problem. I tried turning the media on and off and deleting the device completely off the bluetooth list and re-adding which still does not work. I am using mobilego and it sucks as it won’t let you sort the order of your music.
Any app compatible with the s6 that will allow me to long press the up and down vol buttons to skip to next track/prev track, especially when the screen is off?
i have an iphone 5s running IOS 8.0.2 (i think) and it has decided to randomly change the volume of my music when it feels like it or when i open some apps or get messages. If i am listening to music and someone messages me, all of a sudden it can get really really loud and i havent touched the volume at all. It has happened a few times where i have opened facebook or snapchat and it has halved the volume of the music playing for whatever reason and when i have it on the ipod dock the same thing happens but the volume controls have not been touched at all.Â
I have an SIII but no one seems to be viewing those forums so I thought I would ask here. I've always stored my music in folders sorted by artist and never bothered with tagging as long as the file names started with numbers. I have over 300 gigs in music so I'm not about to start tagging now. my 32 gig sd card has 4500 music files. The music player doesn't play nice with my sorting - artist view winds up showing the same artists 10 times or sorts out compiltation albums while folder view has every single album (300-400 or so) sorted alphabetically.
I would like to go into the external sd card and play directly from there. I can do that, but only a single track will play and you can't use any other apps or browse when the track plays. Am I stupid or something? This is the main reason why I've always used Cowon music players or my sansa clip, I can simply go into folders and play. I have media monkey and love it but even there I use the folder directory.
When you are playing a song on the factory installed Google Play Music app or any other app with an equalizer or when using a separate equalizer and you increase any of the bands in the equalizer, the overall volume of the song drops.
To easily reproduce the problem, start playing a song on the Google Play Music app, go to settings, select equalizer, select advanced. Set the equalizer bands to flat (in the middle settings for all bands). While a song is playing, raise any equalizer band and the overall volume of the song goes down dramatically, like by half. This is especially noticeable as you increase the 16k slider. This is not how equalizers should work. A working equalizer should amplify the band you increased but leave the volume on all other bands the same and thus not lower the overall volume of the song. This is happening with all equalizer apps I've installed (besides the stock Music FX and SoundAlive equalizers) and I've seen the exact thing happen with three other equalizer apps on this phone, so it seems like a specific Samsung Galaxy S5 problem.
