There are many application which starts automatically even after stopping them or closing them with task manger or form settings/Running Services... How do I permanently close/shut that application and run only whenever I need them and setup application to start at phone start up. My 70 percent RAM is being utilized in non-required application...
View 8 RepliesAfter a update my X10 mini pro doesn't boot anymore and now it only hans on the SE logo at the very beginning.I tried to use PC companion and SE update service to reinstall/update the firmware but in SE update service I get that I allready have the last version. and on PC companion I get a message that there is no software available for my phone.I even tried to get a own custom firmware to run on it with flashtools but i can't get the x10 mini pro's stock firmware its on xda-developers but its in a zip file while it has to be in a .ftf and i cant seem to get the zip file converted in to a ftf file. I think when i have done that it will work again... but i cant find any tutorial about converting to ftf in any kind of way

View 2 Replies View RelatedOkay, I really don't know how to fix the following things because I already did a soft reset, a hard reset and finally re-installed the software. Re-installing the software helped for a week or two, but now these things are coming back again:
- My 5530 always fails checking for updates (it keeps searching endless).
- Impossible to use Wi-Fi to check e-mail.
- Applications are closing randomly (most of the times Ovi Store, Internet and Settings).
And something else: when I woke up this morning, my phone didn't want to start up, I tried turning it on and off, without success, so I removed the memory card and then he suddenly started again. After that, I turned my phone off to put the memory card back in and he worked again with the memory card. I just wonder what could be the reason for this.
I wanna know what do i do to close open apps such as chat,watsapp..bucz i thought not being them means thewre closed. Buh wen i wanted to go on my mail it said to much opened apps, then it showed me all that was open an choose one. So i wanna know how do i close them...i still have alot that opened but im not using them...

However, I have not seen a list of required software or applications that should not or cannot be removed and still maintain phone operation. I am sure there are some applications that fall in the category of preferred, and still others that are completely up to the phone operator. Can someone help with such a list? I need to get up to the suggested minimum of 400 MB application free space and currently at 60 MB. I would like to keep as many of my optional applications as possible.

I thought I could go without for those few days...When I crossed the border, the gps receiver ceased to function at all. I tried several apps, among them Ovi maps (I desperately needed the navigation!), Sports Tracker etc. All said that no satellites were found. What's wrong? I would understand that assisted GPS should not work in that case, but normal GPs with maybe longer time for a fix has to work, but none at all? I let the phone try unmoved for an hour under best conditions.
