I have an Xperia SK17i and when I tried to update the phone it don't start up or get into restore mode etc... The only thing that works on it is the LED light and it's flashing red for a few minutes and then it shuts it self down. My computer won't recognise the mobile and I've tried everything.

I have also noticed that reminder is not working while the screen is off, it's work only when the screen is on. it's really annoying. Please fix this issue as soon as possible.It dosen't even work for calender too.

The device works fine in Mass Storage Mode, so the connectivity cable & ports are alright. Then I tried with the 'Device Manager' Updating, Uninstalling & Reinstalling & even changing the ports. The device still fail to start in MTP Mode as the Windows 7 would say.

Since then it was continuously on boot loop and keeps on rebooting itself after the XPERIA logo.It got turned on once in afternoon after which i did a factory reset and it was working fine. In eve I tried to turn the Bluetooth on and it is around 4-5 hours my phone is still rebooting continuously.It is Android 4.0.4 and never rooted, minimum apps, all are from PlayStore only.

I tried repairing the phone and reflashing with flashtool, still the same problem persists. see the below screenshots. View 3 Replies View RelatedI got my Xperia mini pro (SK17i, Android 2.3.4, firmware 4.0.2.A.0.58 after update) a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, trying to activate my Google account during the setup procedure crashed/rebooted the phone twice in a row before I managed to complete the setup. Afterwards I have immediately updated to firmware 4.0.2.A.0.58 but still have experienced the occasional crash about 2-3 times a day.
Usually it happens when doing stuff with the phone. I have read that there is a new firmware update coming our way (4.0.2.A.0.6x) which is supposed to fix some memory management issues. Indeed, the last couple of times I have experienced crashes, the "crash log" in /proc/last_kmsg has shown Unable to handle kernel paging request (+ a nice trace) just before the kernel panicked and rebooted the phone.
my keyboard has arabic characters as well. But after the ICS update the symbols on the physical keyboard (the ones in blue) dont correspond when I type them out. E.g:

My keyboard now supports symbols such as $, Pound Sign etc. I dont really use arabic but only the english keyboard.Is there fix for this or is it settings related? My SI number is on the list and my android build number is 4.1.B.0.431?
