I am currently searching for a new camera app that would enhance my camera/photo shoots. So far I have been using Camera 360.Mind if you share your own apps too? What are the Pros and Cons?

View 6 Replies View RelatedSo, I've always been on the stock GB rom it shipped with and had no issues. I decide to update to ICS but since the update doesn't show up in PC companion or Update Service or OTA, I get flashtool and the stock .431 ftf and flash my mini pro (SI 1249-0751) to ICS (and also plug in a fresh new 32GB microSDHC card to celebrate). A bit laggy, crashes of the contact viewer when searching throught the dialpad, but that's okay, I can use a different launcher (Zeam) and dialer app (Dialer One).But when I open the camera app and try to take a picture with the front camera ...... there's no option. It's gone.
Another camera app, no front camera.Skype recognises only the rear camera. No front camera.I open the service menu (*#*#SERVICE#*#* i.e *#*#7378423#*#*) and test the secondary camera, and it says "This device does not support the function". The primary works fine. All other supported features work fine. Light sensor (next to the front cam) responds too. (But the Proximity switch doesn't. Not sure if it should. Perhaps that could hint at a hardware problem with the connections from the bottom half to the top slider part.)
I scout the forums and find that there's some some strange relationship between the SD card and the front camera for the Ray (or some other device) . With the old SD card, still no luck.I downgrade to GB. Still not working. Front cam missing.I unlock the bootloader and install a custom rom (CyanogenMod 9.0.0 Stable mango).Still not working. Front cam missing.I reinstall GB, relock the bootloader in the hope of an OTA update and do finally get one (to ICS). I update it. Still not working. Front cam missing.I don't think it's (gulp) hardware. There hasn't been any drop onto a hard surface.
Is there any way to connect my sk17i to tv or monitor?

I have also noticed that reminder is not working while the screen is off, it's work only when the screen is on. it's really annoying. Please fix this issue as soon as possible.It dosen't even work for calender too.
something to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Update: Sometimes reminders even get delayed for few minutes. In some forum i have heard that , this problem is happening for Something "wakelock" which is not optimised.
in the SI numbers list my si number is always added 7 days ago but there is no update in PC companion why? what can i do?

The device works fine in Mass Storage Mode, so the connectivity cable & ports are alright. Then I tried with the 'Device Manager' Updating, Uninstalling & Reinstalling & even changing the ports. The device still fail to start in MTP Mode as the Windows 7 would say.

Since then it was continuously on boot loop and keeps on rebooting itself after the XPERIA logo.It got turned on once in afternoon after which i did a factory reset and it was working fine. In eve I tried to turn the Bluetooth on and it is around 4-5 hours my phone is still rebooting continuously.It is Android 4.0.4 and never rooted, minimum apps, all are from PlayStore only.

I tried repairing the phone and reflashing with flashtool, still the same problem persists. see the below screenshots. Rebooting multiple times has had no impact. Although the soft keys on the phone still operate but the touch has become completely unresponsive.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI got my Xperia mini pro (SK17i, Android 2.3.4, firmware 4.0.2.A.0.58 after update) a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, trying to activate my Google account during the setup procedure crashed/rebooted the phone twice in a row before I managed to complete the setup. Afterwards I have immediately updated to firmware 4.0.2.A.0.58 but still have experienced the occasional crash about 2-3 times a day.
Usually it happens when doing stuff with the phone. I have read that there is a new firmware update coming our way (4.0.2.A.0.6x) which is supposed to fix some memory management issues. Indeed, the last couple of times I have experienced crashes, the "crash log" in /proc/last_kmsg has shown Unable to handle kernel paging request (+ a nice trace) just before the kernel panicked and rebooted the phone.
my keyboard has arabic characters as well. But after the ICS update the symbols on the physical keyboard (the ones in blue) dont correspond when I type them out. E.g:

My keyboard now supports symbols such as $, Pound Sign etc. I dont really use arabic but only the english keyboard.Is there fix for this or is it settings related? My SI number is on the list and my android build number is 4.1.B.0.431?
I am facing some issues with my Xperia Mini pro sk17i, after ICS updates most of the games freeze while playing & then i need to restart the cell phone again & again. I have tried temple run, fruit ninja & load runner from play store & many more. Also would like to add, all games install properly without giving any error, but they freeze while playing. I also use " move app to sd" application for moving to sd card once they are installed.
