Oct 24, 2010I am using the standard calendar app on 2.1 firmware and I cannot see any setting to set the alarm signal for when the calendar time/date has reached or will I have to download a third part app file to have a calendar with alarm signal? and preferably one where I can set my own mp3 sound as a calendar alert.

Think these applications are protected. Is there someway to remove these applications as I dont use them at all and they takes up my battery use?Also, I installed ES Task Manager and Startup Auditor which I heard was good in extending battery use time.Realised that some settings affected the SIM card detection and mobile connectivity? Can I know what are the settings like SMSCheckin or Diagnotics Tool etc which will not affect mobile connectivity?

Dec 2, 2010Ok, so I still have the songs I had b4 I've downloaded the 2.1 OS; when I look into the X10 Mini, the "AVAILABLE ROOM" seems to have gotten bigger; but I also have many times in which the phone says: "no SD card found" or"no available storage" and such, regardless all my songs are there(not sure where!), and the "SD and storage" still shows the amount of memory like - Total room: 3.67GB and Available room: 3.11GB; considering I only had about 1.70GB left pryor to the 2.1 OS update!!!

Jul 11, 2011I've just purchase the X10 mini pro. Really impressed with it so far. However, when i try and open 'Office Suite' which was pre-installed on the phone it tells me there is an update availalbe and to continue i need to download this. When i select the 'update' button, the process begins but after a few seconds i get an error message saying 'installation failed'. I've had no problems opening any of the other pre-installed apps, and have downloaded some from Android Market with no problems.

Nov 1, 2010Checking out media players, I downloaded Zimly and Mixzing to compare. Both installed instantly but only Zimly appeared as an icon on the home screen. When I go to Settings>Applications>Manage applications they are both listed as installed, however I need to have Mixing drop its icon for me to be able to use it ... from reviews etc I actually think that's the one I'll be keeping anyway, a clear case of sod's Law that of the two that one would be the one with a problem!I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice, same result.

Nov 20, 2010I bought a x10 mini pro this week and the same day the phone arrived i updated to 2.1 with SE PC Companion software. I didn´t noticed if this happens to 1.6 duo to the short usage of this droid version.
Every time i starts the camera application or any application that uses the camera (like Google goggles for example), the phone aparently crashes and suddenly reboot. After the reboot, the camera used to work for the first times but about aprox 30 min. or less that the phone has been rebooted, when i try to start the camera, the phone crashes and restarts again.
I´ve tried to Repair the phone in pc Companion software and the issue continues the same.

I haven't had the need to install any new apps for a while, but when I recently tried installing one, it failed. I've updated all software and there's enough space on the phone for the application(s) I wanted to install, yet it doesn't work.When I've purchased an application, it goes to install it, only to stop installing it after about 3-5 seconds without giving any notice or a reason why. It just stops. Updating apps already installed is no problem.

I'm getting a message on my phone saying there is a new software update available(4.0.2.A.0.58). Before I update my phone to the latest firmware, I'd like to get some things cleared up.
1) If I update my phone from 2.3.3 to 4.0.2.A.0.58, the applications which are currently installed will stay?
2) Are there any known bugs in the latest version(4.0.2.A.0.58)?
3) After updating, If I find something unusual, is it possible to revert back to 2.3.3?
