Xperia Mini/pro :: Touchscreen Not Working Correctly - Massive Dead Spots
May 28, 2012My Xperia Mini Pro was fine, then one morning i woke up and the touch screen wasn't working correctly. It had massive dead spots which made things like flicking through the menus impossible, or selecting button that were in a certain place. The weird thing is I think these dead spots are random and change around. Also it would feel like was getting an input from other parts of the screen at the same time, like as if somelse was touching it too.
For example it would keep doing that overview of all your widgets randomly. The problem isn't as bad as it was originally, but is still very unusable. I did some service tests to give you an idea of what was going on. I tried the tests like 30 seconds after each other, and one had a clear dead spot and the other completely fine. It seems totally random. I've tried repairing it with PC Companion, everything is set to how it was when I bought it, and still that had no affect.
Xperia X10 Mini/pro :: Android Market No Longer Works
Oct 24, 2010I dont know what i have done or deleted improperly but I can no longer get android market to work on my X10 mini pro phone today. I have tried clearing cache and re-starting phone, turning off wi-fi and turning it back on again. when i click on the Market Icon i just get a white screen briefly for under a second and then it goes back to standby/menu screen I cannot get android market at all. I dont really fancy restoring the phone back to factory defaults to get it sorted out, is there any other way I can restore the market can I maybe download it and associated files from the internet somewhere. My phone is updated to 2.1 firmware by the way.

Jan 8, 2011The phone pairs and connects but when calling using the car handsfree nothing happens and I cannot receive calls. When this happens the car radio controls freeze and I have to switch the radio off and then on again. It all used to work fine before under 1.6. Trouble is I've got a long 18 months left on contract using the X10 mini which I now regret buying after being talked into it at the Phones 4 U shop. I've tried my ancient SE K700i and it works perfectly, so it's not the car.

Nov 20, 2010I bought a x10 mini pro this week and the same day the phone arrived i updated to 2.1 with SE PC Companion software. I didnīt noticed if this happens to 1.6 duo to the short usage of this droid version.
Every time i starts the camera application or any application that uses the camera (like Google goggles for example), the phone aparently crashes and suddenly reboot. After the reboot, the camera used to work for the first times but about aprox 30 min. or less that the phone has been rebooted, when i try to start the camera, the phone crashes and restarts again.
Iīve tried to Repair the phone in pc Companion software and the issue continues the same.

I haven't had the need to install any new apps for a while, but when I recently tried installing one, it failed. I've updated all software and there's enough space on the phone for the application(s) I wanted to install, yet it doesn't work.When I've purchased an application, it goes to install it, only to stop installing it after about 3-5 seconds without giving any notice or a reason why. It just stops. Updating apps already installed is no problem.

I'm getting a message on my phone saying there is a new software update available(4.0.2.A.0.58). Before I update my phone to the latest firmware, I'd like to get some things cleared up.
1) If I update my phone from 2.3.3 to 4.0.2.A.0.58, the applications which are currently installed will stay?
