Dec 14, 2010i copied pics from ALL to ALBUM's new folder and then deleted the same pics in ALL folder but automatically all the pics in new folder got deleted.
normally in all nokia phones this method works without any prob.

May 23, 2012I accidentally deleted some pictures from my phone. I downloaded a software1 (not permitted to disclose the software) to recover my deleted pictures. However I could not recover them as this software was not free. I then downloaded blackberry desktop software and backed up everything. When I downloaded ZAR 9.1 it showed my memory card as being emptied. I then tried the software1 and it showed my memory card being emptied as well. I would like to learn how I can recover these pictures.

Sep 13, 2010Somehow I lingered over the delete too long or something and the confirm came up for one of my contacts. I rolled down to cancel, but after I clicked it jumped back up to delete and removed my contact. Currently, I do not have a back up of my database as it has been a bit more difficult than with my last phone and computer. Let's face it.... I've been procrastinating in tacking the project!
Does anyone know if it is possible to retrieve this contact? I figure the info still has to be somewhere on the phone..

Sep 15, 2010is there any possibility of retrieving lost or deleted emails from my blackberry account? I tried RIM support & they said they have no way of doing this as the emails do not stay on there server at all. I have lost emails from Oct of 2011 that I had kept on my device. They were on my device as much as a few days ago, & now simply have vanished! I have not deleted them myself at all either?
Unfortunately, I have not backed up my device for more than 3 months ago & I had not saved the messages as I was n ot experiencing any email issues before. My email management settings are set to hold "Forever" as well? I am extremely puzzled with this situation that I could have prevented.
I am with Bell Mobility in Canada (province of Ontario) & I was wondering if there is any other solution that any of you techies out there might now of? Is there any software or company that any of you might be able to recommend to assist me?

I've done search after search on my phone and it's only giving me the messages I've sent to that person and not their messages.
Is there a way to pull these messages or do I need some sort of software? I haven't done a backup for a few months since I only use it as a phone and for Facebook.Please tell me there is someway to pull these messages. I need to catch this perp now and report him to my pastor.

Feb 8, 2012After the Belle update, all my sms-messages were deleted. So i got them back by restoring them from the back up i made before updating. Now they are not displayed in the right order, by date. Instead, first i get the mms messages, then when I scroll up I get all my sent messages to that contact, en even more up all the received messages. So it's not a conversation anymore. Within the "sent" and "received" messages groups they are ordered by date and time. How can i fix this so i can see the actual conversation again, with alternating sent and received messages? The mms messages also have the time and date from restoring from the back up, the regular sms-messages still have the original time and date correctly.

May 18, 2011I have deleted 4 pictures in the gallery app from the sdcard/pictures directory. I exited the gallery and returned some time later and ther is now a seperate album showing 4 pictures with no thumbnail and the won't open. These blank pics have the same file names as the ones deleted and are stored in the same directory. Getting info on these pics shows the original file size and name, but with a resolution of 0x0 and they can't be opened. Exploring the sdcard/pictures directory with file explorer does not show the 4 files in question.
Update- I shut down my Xoom and restarted. Launched the Gallery app. The blank picture album appeared momentarily and then disappeared.

Nov 28, 2012I have accidentally deleted a folder containing some very important work related files from my Nokia E6 They were stored on the phone memory.
Unfortunately, they have not been backed up and its just typical that I was only recently planning to upload them onto my laptop.

Jan 5, 2012As the title said, deleted photo's thumbnails appear in my N97's capture gallery. I capture an image or two and when I go to my Photos > Captured I see tumbnails of images I deleted a long time ago. When I open a file I still see an image that was deleted ower a year ago.
Only when I click "edit" do I see the recently captured image that I should have seen in the first place.I tried everything. Restore factory settings, delete everything the phone lets me in explorer... still the problem persists. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I found a few files that was large, but the main problem is several hundred files with suffix .Rxxx which from a PC point of view are files belonging to compressed file in RAR-format.Is performing a reset of the phone the only way to get rid of these files? Is there no way they can be deleted using Swiss Manager or other programs like that? I use Swiss manager to find these files. Using this program Ifind that the resource directory has 34+ GB of data nd inside the apps directory show 28GB and that is where all the .Rxxx files are found, on the root of apps, not inside of the directories inside apps.

Oct 21, 2011I have set up the camera settings on my E55 to store pictures on the memory card.Now, after transferring those I wanted onto my computer's HD, I deleted most of the photos from the card (in Windows Explorer). However, when I go to 'gallery' on my phone (with the memory card inside), these files can still be seen - i.e., their names and sizes (but not the images). I cannot seem to be able to delete these entries from the phone's interface.
