I have an N8 with Belle FP1 refresh.
I have been facing a regular problem since quite some time now even before I had the Belle refresh.
Whenever, I try to add an event in the Calendar or push an event from FB birthdays onto the Calendar, the event disappears after a few minutes.
I updated the software to latest software last night after it was done I went to view my calendar and all of the events on there were deleted. How do I get it back?

While the calendar was opened, I hit the refresh button and now all of my events have disappeared! Everything-past,present,future gone. "Refresh" doesn't mean "delete" so I'm not sure what happened here but I had TONS of info in that calendar. How to recover the events?
View 12 Replies View RelatedI just switched from the default Samsung calendar app to the Google Calendar app. Events from my primary Google calendar, "Personal", appear on the Google Calendar app on my S5, but the calendar itself doesn't appear as an option when creating new events or in the Settings page. As a result, I can see all of my events that I enter via my PC browser (correctly under the label "Personal"), but I cannot add new events from my phone to that specific calendar. My other, less frequently used Gmail calendars (Birthdays, work, a few shared calendars) appear.

When you set the option as 'contacts bar' in your home screen settings , one is unable to see any calendar events (anniversay, to-do) on the main screen.However when you switch off the 'contacts bar' in the home screen settings , you can see all calendar events appearing on the screen.What is the reason for this ? I as a use would always like to see my calendar events on the homescreen. Is there anyway I can see the contacts bar as well as the calendar events both appearing on the home screen together.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've upgraded to the latest N900 firmware (pr1.2) and ever since I have had a problem with the calendar widget. All the events are contained in the calendar when I open it however they are not displayed on the desktop widget. I've got events loaded for the month of June but for some reason these are not showing. Instead I have events showing for July, September and even December. I've tried removing all the entries and the re-adding them but this hasn't solved the problem. I also created another calendar and placed the entries in the new one, again this didn't work. Does anybody have any idea how I can resolve this problem.

I have 4 contacts on my contacts bar. When I click one of the pix, I get a list of all the events relating to that contact - great, that's as it should be. But when I click on one of the other three, there are no events shown - the message is "(no communication events)". But I know there should be some, because I remember calling them yesterday and if I check the call log I can see the call there. If I then do something with one of the three (send a text or call them), then as if by magic the missing lists of events appear. It's always the same one that's complete initially, and always the same three that seem to need a reminder to behave themselves.if there's anything I can do to get all comms events showing all the time?

I have been using Nokia maps on my E71, and I have updated to the latest version, which deleted the maps present on the phone. I now cannot load any maps onto it. While connected to my PC the maps application says that the maps on my phone are corrupt, but I cannot delete them, or load new ones. I have tried deleting the cities folder, and deleting the qf file, but get the same error. I also reinstalled Ovi suite on my PC, same error. I cannot uninstall the maps app on my phone.

I even keep deleting the event when the reminder pops up but it doesn't help. When I look at the the calendar the event is not there so i don't know what to do. Anyone else run into this problem?

Ok so i updated Belle and Number 1 shows me between network name and singal/batery icon Thats line in use 1/2. I able to hide that number (icon) on display that doesnt show me what line i use e.g 1 or 2.I didnt have this issue on Anna it appears now when i updated to Belle.So can someone tell me can i hide it or turn off that doesnt show me "what line i use" and its appears when i call someone or someone call me "name of caller and Line 1"

(this step made me lose all ovi apps such as maps, store,...etc)Connected the phone to OVI suite and made a software re-install but also wasn't helpful still the contacts do not work and lost the most important apps.

My calendar app (Tuesday 1 Calendar) does not allow me to add events. There is not a (Calendars or +) at the top of the application. Previous iPhones I have had had this feature.

I enter events into my BB calender such as "santa run 9am" on saturday december 8th and a couple hours later it deletes itself - it does this for every event I enter.?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI noticed that after the latest update on VZW my calendar no longer "remembers" all of my events. I also tried using the google calendar app and it does the same thing. If I change the reminder time and save, the calendar will update accordingly but after a few hours it "forgets" everything that was updated. I even removed my gmail account and re added it with the same frustrating result. Adding to the frustration, my N7 has no issues seeing calendar events.

"Loading Calendars"
>Insert circle that rotates similar to an hour glass
And that message with the rotating circle will stay there indefinitely if I let it.
I also have Yahoo, Outlook and Google calendars that I cannot get to sync with the stock calendar app.
