I tried to restore my phone while it was at 1%, and it just completely died. I haven't been able to charge it since 7:30pm, and now it's 3am, and it still hasn't come back on. It's plugged into the charger and it just comes up with the battery charging symbol thing? I don't know how to explain it, but I'm guessing my phone is completely dead now.

I can not get it to silde to unlock or what so ever. I've tried take out the battery to turn it off and switch it back on. I've also tired to connect it with my computer with the sony software to repair it. But none of those work. The touch screen seems to respond once after i touch it thirty or forthy times. But still i have no way to silde to unlock the phone. Is that means my phone is brick or just the touch screen is broken
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen I went to sleep last night, my phone was working fine. It was on my bed and charging. When I woke up this morning, it was still plugged in but completely dead.
It won't turn on, it doesn't have the red light when charging, nothing. I tried a different charger, tried the force restart, even tried the little yellow button and still nothing.
The only thing I can imagine is that it severely overheated and blew the engine. Nothing else makes sense. Is there anything else I can do beyond replacing it?

View 3 Replies View RelatedObtained my Droid3 two weeks ago and I'm now finding that it will not charge.Long story short: I did not charge my device for 2 days straight, upon complete epletion of the battery's power I hooked it upto the wall charger and noticed that the screen turned on with the droid symbol and subsequently the charging icon. I left it to charge, and after a while when it was upto 15% I attempted to turn it on by pressing the power button (without holding it down), which caused the screen to go black and ceased the charging.ow whenever I try to charge the device via the wall charger, the white charging LED (between the microUSB and miniHDMI inputs) turns on occasionally and remains there for an hour, after which it goes off again. When I try to charge via the computer the same thing happens, except after 45min or so of charging, the device repeatedly connects and disconnects from the computer USB (the usb connection and disconnection sounds ping repeatedly until I unplug the device). This also happens when I try and turn on the device while charging via USB.
Normally after 45min of charging from the computer the device will turn on, with the Droid logo appearing and system activated. Now it will not turn on at all.I have tried removing the battery from the device for at least a min and then recharging, I've also tried removing and re-inserting the battery while the Droid3 is connected to the charger to no avail. To replicate the situation, I've left the battery without charging for a period of 48 hours, and then tried to charge it again via wall charger; same problem: the white LED turned on for about an hour and then went out. The device did not turn on this time. My suspiscions are on the battery..The phone is a great piece of hardware and I've grown to love it, yet I had honestly no idea it would be susceptible to such trivial conditions 3 weeks out of the box. I have had my 9900 for a couple months now and just a couple of days ago it started freezing up, I had to remove the battery every time it would freeze. So one day it froze took out the battery put it back in and never turned on. No lights nothing I even tired a new battery completely dead. So I was told my motherboard could be gone and said to return it to rim because of the one year warranty.

I turn the phone on again to see the battery is dead and it dies again, and before it had 85% battery life left apparently. View 1 Replies View Related The main problem is that my Nexus 5 (which is over a year old now) has been turning itself off and on for a couple of weeks now. At first it didn't bother me too much, because I could usually turn it on easily again. However the last few days this happened more frequent and today it just won't turn on again. I dropped it once and the screen broke. Had it replaced, but when I got it back the chip overheated really fast and the phone rebooted, resulting in an error message. I went back to the store and they replaced the motherboard, free of charge. they probably broke it when they replaced the screen. After 6 months or so, my screen broke again, due to work related circumstances (a machine malfunctioned and the phone actually saved my skin...). Had it replaced again and no further problems occurred, until now. The chip doesn't overheat, btw.Ok, so now a list of things I have tried and things that are noticeable, to spare you guys the comments
- The phone turns off randomly, both fully charged and when the battery is almost drained.
- The chip doesn't get hot, just normal when playing, for instance, a game with heavy graphics.
- I'm not using any particular app when it turns off, it is really random
- It turns off more frequent when I have the phone in the pocket of my trousers then anywhere else...his could however just be random.
- When the phone works again and shows me the main menu, there is NO error message stating that the phone has recovered from an unexpected shutdown. This did happen when the motherboard was broken.
- I tried every possible button-combo there is (power+vol up/down - hold power for +30 seconds - rapidly press power until my finger bleeds).
Last but not least...
- I have the strong feeling it is a connection problem somewhere...Before today, when it shut off and the power button didn't turn it on again, I tapped the phone on the back, roughly where the hardware is located and it turned the phone on.
Today I opened the phone for the first time, but haven't gone any further than that. I might remove the battery and have a look at it, blow on it for luck and stuff, and see if there's any connection problem....Other than that...I don't know.
It happens quite often when I call, the receiver can hear me but I can't hear him/her and also sometimes the other way around(!). When I recall ..., most of the time the problem is over. Normally when I plug in the headset, it doesn't work at all ... whatever I try! With plugged in headset the iPhone keeps operating via the built in speakers and I can switch between handsfree and normal (the headset remains completely dead). Only after a complete restore the headset works one or two phone calls and then fails permanent. The connector is clean and can be completely plugged in.

My iphone 4 has suddenly stopped charging for some reason. I've had no signs of battery problems at all before this.
I've read that some people have managed to fix this problem by doing a hard reset, but my battery was dead before I tried charging it so I can't do this. (when I try I get the connect to power image) I've checked the phone for any signs of lint etc, and cant see anything obvious.
I've tried multiple cables and adapters and the usb slot on my macbook and none of these get any response at all. When I plug into a speaker dock I have got, I get the connect to power supply image on the screen.
The phone is 2 years old (almost to the day) seems they have made it last the exact length of my contract Was wanting to hold off upgrading till the next iphone comes out

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy blackberry torch seems to be a bit faulty in some way at the min , I've recently purchased several batteries for the phone, all of which working perfectly when I leave the shop, when home I charge them up to full and use it as normal no problems. I continue to use the phone until it completely runs out of charge but when it comes to charging it again it shows a battery with a Red Cross through it and after reading other comments of just leaving it to charge I did that but nothing happened so went back to the shop they tested the battery only to find it completely unuseable and me having to buy a new one.
