I'm having a problem with my Tour not receiving files and pics from any computer using bluetooth. Its see's the computer and the computer see's the tour and I could send pics to the computer with no problem.I've tried everything possible and it just don't work.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAnd apparently RIM is aware of this bad Bluetooth stack? This is what BlueAnt tech support is telling me and that it's BlackBerry's problem. I have a Tour running 5.0 and have never had an issue with any Bluetooth headset except the BlueAnt Z9i. My BlueAnt Z9i does seem to work fine on 4.7, but I'll chuck the Z9i in the can before I stick w/4.7 for any longer than testing purposes! BlueAnt said I should contact RIM for details on a solution; however, I see no reasonable means to directly contact RIM tech support?And since this is RIM's official support forums, unless I'm mistaken? Does anyone know anything about this faulty Bluetooth in 5.0 on the Tour and Storm 2 that causes random issues with Bluetooth headsets? Random issues are: Random beeps, buttons on headset being unresponsive, sound and mic not working, and hang-ups. These are all completely random issues the button unresponsiveness can be fixed by disconnecting the Bluetooth headset from the BlackBerry device via the BlackBerry device. And then the headset buttons will work again, enabling the headset to be powered down, etc This is of course a fix until it randomly happens again the next time it's paired to the Tour running 5.0!"As you know this is a specific issue with Blackberry tour (9630) and storm 2 phones using 5.0 OS, no updating of BlueAnt products will help as it's a fault with the phone." BlueAnt said "I believe It occurs on almost all Bluetooth devices within anything from one weeks to two months of pairing with a Blackberry tour using 5.0." BlueAnt said "Just to re-cap: the issues with the tour happen with all BlueAnt products: Q1, V1, Z9i etc And I've heard from consumers that called in it also occurs on Jabra's and Jawbones etc.We know that Blackberry know about the issue so if you contact them they should shed some light on it." It is file.ext, then file001.ext, then file002.ext. and so on It is not possible to open the files. When I delete the files, then they keep coming again, starting from 0 to 001 and so on. I already resetted the phone. What can I do to stop receiving the files?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded my wife's OS on her VZW Tour to the latest official release. Since then she has been having problems with her work email.
She is on BIS but has her blackberry account set up with her company's Exchange server. Until the upgrade everything was fine. Now, however, most if not all of her work emails are arriving blank. All her other email accounts come through fine. If she forwards the work emails to another account they read fine. If she even forwards the work email back to her blackberry from the same email account the text of the email will appear as well. These are all internal emails within the company. Not HTML based. Text and possibly an attachment (attachments show up fine). I have checked her settings and nothing has changed. I am curious as to whether or not her employers email server may not be compatible with the new OS.
I am a little perplexed and cannot figure out what the deal is.
I'm not receiving any notification of voice-mails.People leave me voicemails, but the Tour doesn't notify me of them. I do not have visual voice mail -- this is just plain ol' voicemail. I don't get texts notifying me of VM, either, but I'm not sure I'm set up to receive text notifications, so I'm less concerned about that.
I've been notified before that there is a new voicemail for me, and after that there was a little icon up near the email and text message icons until I listened to it. I don't get either of these any longer -- not the big notification or even the little icon with the number beside it. I don't know exactly when or why these have stopped.How can I get VM notifications back?
Thursday I didn't get any emails from my external email accounts (Yahoo, Hotmail, Work) until 11:40PM Pacific then I got a whole days worth. Since then I haven't received anything.My phone works, text messaging works, the brower works, I can see the emails when I go to the websites on the PC or BB Browser. Facebook (no notifications though because they come through email) and Twitter apps work.I sent a test email from my BB from my yahoo account to my hotmail account and it did send.I have taken the battery out and restarted it. There arent any errors or anything I'm just not receiving the emails.

I receive the message and my phone acts like I have one, but all the words are gone. And this sender is the person I text and talk the most to. I pulled the battery and that didn't help.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am having a problem opening attachments in my emails. They are usually jpg or png files, which I have never had an issue opening before. I choose "open attachment" from the menu, and the little red clock that appears next to the file just stays there. If i click the trackball, i get a prompt to resend the request, but clicking "yes" doesn't do anything. I recently upgraded to leaked OS .662, but I'm not convinced that is the problem because a coworker has OS 4.7.1.40 (original OS) and he is also experiencing the same problem.

Do the tunes, voices, sounds, whatever actually exist in some fashion on your Tour? Or are they really coming from no where on your bb? What I'm trying to figure out, is a number of these "appended" sound files sound obscene or raunchy. So might it be some actual contamination of the OS or are these SOUNDS from things on folks BB's? Yes, I'm sure some folks have "cute" sound files or were sent such files but maybe it is more than that. Maybe the OS really was inappropriately tweaked.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid Razr paired with a Blue Parrot BTX-250. Most of the time(not all), when either making or receiving a call, the phone is broadcasting static to the speaker circuit of the BT. People can still hear and understand me. The static lasts for anywhere from 1/2 second to 5 seconds then goes away. It is only doing this during calls. I can use the voice command to initiate a call and the phone understands me and I can understand it, then when the Razor connects the phone circuit to the BT it will give the static(most of the time). Went to a Verizon store and tech guy verified all this. BT is two months old and worked fine with last phone last week. We are fairly certain it is a software issue with Droid.
